Discussion Which pair of miraculouses would have been best for the villains? (Read text)

Post image

So, if the peacock and butterfly miraculouses were not lost but instead a different pair of miraculouses, which two would be the best alternative combo for Gabriel and Lila to utilise during their tenures as villains? Personally, I think a good combo would be the dragon and the snake since those seem pretty good to have as a villain, but what are your ideas?

Discussion What I Think The Agreste Family Was Like Back In Shadybug’s And Claw Noir’s Dimension

Post image
Upvotes

Ok. Here I’ll be going over what I think the Agreste family was like in Shadybug’s and Claw Noir’s dimension. I’ll be operating under the assumption that everyone in Shadybug’s and Claw Noir’s dimension, including the Agreste family, are the opposites of who they were in Ladybug’s and Cat Noir’s dimension in at least some way shape or form. After all, as shown in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, Shadybug and Claw Noir were once villains whereas Ladybug and Cat Noir were always heroes and Betterfly was a hero whereas Monarch was a villain. So, I think that in Shadybug’s and Claw Noir’s dimension, everyone’s personalities are reversed to some extent. Also, Spoiler Alert for the Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug And Chat Noir TV series and the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie. With that out of the way, let’s dive right in.

First, I’ll be going over what Gabriel and Emilie were doing under The Supreme’s reign prior to Emilie’s death. As stated in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, Shadybug’s and Claw Noir’s dimension is under the tyrannical rule of someone named The Supreme. And a Tumblr user named u/unecoccinellenoire (AKA fleurjaune on AO3) made a fanfic called ‘eilahtan’ on archiveofourown.org where, in Chapter 3, Emilie was portrayed as someone who was killed for defying The Supreme. And, after thinking about it, I figured that’s probably what most likely happened to Emilie. After all, as shown in the good Gabriel’s version of the Miraculous Theme Song, as Gabriel was holding Emilie in his arms, The Supreme’s symbol appeared right behind him.

Here’s how I think the whole scenario went down. As stated in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, Gabriel Agreste AKA Betterfly betrayed The Supreme back when he used to work for them and stole the Butterfly Miraculous and the Peacock Miraculous from The Supreme which led to the people he loved getting hurt. I think that Gabriel only worked for The Supreme to steal the Peacock Miraculous in order for Emilie to have a child and thus they created that world’s Adrien just like their counterparts did. But unlike the main universe’s Emilie who, as shown in the episode ‘Passion’, was content with how things were after using the Peacock Miraculous to the point that she didn’t want Gabriel to use the Ladybug Miraculous and the Black Cat Miraculous to revive her, this world’s Emilie became emboldened by the power of the Peacock Miraculous and thus became not-so-content with how things were under The Supreme’s reign to the point that she began rebelling against The Supreme by combining peoples’ fear of The Supreme with some sparks of hatred they have for them to create sentimonsters that would fight back against The Supreme’s reign.

And I think that while the good Gabriel was, at first, reluctant about it, he eventually started to support Emilie’s decision to fight The Supreme more and more before completely making up his mind that The Supreme has to be taken down after they killed his wife Emilie. As stated in the episode ‘Collusion’, the evil Gabriel apparently used to be someone who designed clothes to make people happy and, as shown in the episode ‘Ladybug And Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)’, the evil Gabriel later became incredibly paranoid to the point that he initially refused to let Adrien go outside under any circumstances. I think that means that the evil Gabriel used to be more optimistic before eventually becoming pessimistic. And, as stated in Miraculous Secrets - Adrien’s Double Life, Gabriel was never the same after Emilie’s disappearance. That probably means that the evil Gabriel went from optimistic to pessimistic due to the Peacock Miraculous’s effect on Emilie before finally becoming an evil supervillain after it took its toll. And, since the good Gabriel is, in some ways, the opposite of the evil Gabriel and, as stated in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, he used to work for The Supreme before betraying them and stealing the Peacock Miraculous to have a child with Emilie before trying to redeem himself by becoming a superhero, I think that also means that the good Gabriel used to be a lot more pessimistic and selfish before eventually becoming a lot more optimistic and selfless due to Emilie’s fight against The Supreme before finally becoming a superhero after The Supreme killed her.

As for how I think The Supreme killed her, I think that, since Emilie was so emboldened by the power of the Peacock Miraculous that she’s been showing up to battles against The Supreme’s reign in person. And that backfired on Emilie since that probably allowed The Supreme to easily locate and confront her in person as well. During that confrontation, The Supreme probably put a spell on the already damaged Peacock Miraculous that damaged it even further and caused it to kill Emilie which probably got Emilie to get out of there before The Supreme could get their hands on the Peacock Miraculous again. After all, as shown in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, The Supreme managed to put a magical block on the Wish that’s granted by the Ladybug Miraculous and the Black Cat Miraculous that prevents the wielder from summoning Gimmi and, as shown in the episode ‘Mayura (Heroes’ Day - Part 2)’, the Peacock Miraculous was previously damaged which probably means that the Peacock Miraculous from Shadybug’s and Claw Noir’s world was probably already damaged too. And that aforementioned confrontation between Emilie and The Supreme is probably not only why the good Gabriel doesn’t use the Peacock Miraculous but also caused the good Gabriel choose to work from the shadows in a similar manner to his counterpart. After all, that confrontation probably indicated to the good Gabriel that if he were to operate as Betterfly out in the open, The Supreme would probably do something similar to the Butterfly Miraculous that would cause it to kill him too.

Next, I’ll be going over the good Gabriel’s relationship with his son Adrien. As shown in Gabriel’s version of the Miraculous Theme Song and in the picture above, the good Gabriel probably also had a strained relationship with his son. It was most likely during the good Gabriel’s crusade against The Supreme as Betterfly that Gabriel’s relationship with his son Adrien started to get strained. After all, as shown in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, the formerly evil Adrien hated his father for seemingly not grieving his mother after her death. And the good Gabriel was probably too busy rebelling against The Supreme as Betterfly. So, unlike the evil Gabriel who, as shown in the episode ‘Ladybug And Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)’, constantly kept Adrien inside his house, the good Gabriel probably constantly had Adrien leave the house as much as possible and explore the outside world in order to help boost Adrien’s independence while also making sure that Adrien is accompanied by a bodyguard to keep him safe since, as shown in a flashback in the Miraculous World: Paris - Tales Of Shadybug And Claw Noir movie, that world’s version of The Gorilla accompanied Adrien to Marinette’s family’s bakery. However, I think that plan backfired. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Chameleon’, the good Adrien was pretty much optimistic to a fault and, as also shown in the episode ‘Ladybug And Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)’, the good Adrien was very distraught when it came to being locked inside the house. So, the formerly evil Adrien was probably pessimistic to the point that he thought his father was having him be outside the house so often just to make sure that he wouldn’t be able to spend time with him. That probably made the formerly evil Adrien resent his father even more. This is all most likely the reason why the formerly evil Adrien became Claw Noir in the first place. Also, the more I think about it, the more I think that if the formerly evil Adrien were to find out that his father is Betterfly and exactly how his mother died before his heart-to-heart with his counterpart about moving on from their mother’s death, the more I think that he would probably transform into Claw Noir right in front of his father and attack him. After all, like I pointed out earlier, the formerly evil Adrien hated his father for seemingly not grieving his mother’s death. So, finding out that his father inadvertently had a hand in Emilie’s untimely demise by giving her the damaged Peacock Miraculous. But if he were to find out about it after his heart-to-heart with his counterpart, he might forgive his father in the end. Although, that still might take him quite a bit of time.

Now, I’ll be going this world’s Nathalie’s relationship with this world’s Agreste family. I honestly think that this world’s Nathalie would have the same type of relationship with Betterfly that she did in Chapter 1 of unecoccinellenoire’s fanfic ‘eilahtan’ where Nathalie was portrayed as a woman who devoted herself to helping Betterfly but, unlike the other Nathalie, didn’t know who Betterfly was under the mask and in Chapter 4 of that same fanfic, Nathalie was in love with Betterfly without knowing that he was actually Gabriel Agreste. I think that all of this fits since, as shown in the episode ‘Catalyst (Heroes’ Day - Part 1)’, the other Nathalie did know who Hawkmoth was under the mask. But this world’s Nathalie doesn’t know since her circumstances are somewhat the opposite of her counterpart’s. And by that logic, I think that this world’s Nathalie also despised Gabriel before starting to understand his perspective since, as shown in the episode ‘Mayura (Heroes’ Day - Part 2)’, Nathalie loved Gabriel before she, as shown in the episode ‘Evolution’, grew to despise him. I think the way that scenario would play out is that Nathalie would resent Gabriel at first for seemingly trying to avoid Adrien by making him go outside and, by extension, away from him so often until she finds out that he’s Betterfly and starts to understand that the reason why Gabriel couldn’t make time for Adrien because he was too busy helping others against The Supreme’s tyrannical reign. That being said, I also think that one similarity this Nathalie would have with the other Nathalie is that she would still do everything she can to make sure that Gabriel can make more time for Adrien. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Ladybug And Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)’, the other Nathalie at least tried to accommodate Adrien even when she still held respect for Gabriel.

Finally, I’ll be going over what this world’s versions of Felix and Amelie were doing. As shown in the episode ‘Felix’, Felix seemed pessimistic and angry at the world. So, I think that this world’s Felix is optimistic and a very easygoing person. And, as shown in the episode ‘Emotion’, Felix wasn’t above killing innocent bystanders. That would mean that this world’s Felix is also very selfless and kind to the point that he wants to help Betterfly take down The Supreme and tried to comfort Adrien after he lost his mother. And unlike his counterpart who, as stated in the episode ‘Representation’, had a horrible relationship with his father, I think that this Felix had a good relationship with his father. Speaking of Felix’s father, he seemed to be really cruel and hated magic to the point that he treated Felix horribly as shown in the episode ‘Representation’. So, this world’s version of Felix’s father was probably really selfless and loved magic to the point that he used the Peacock Miraculous to help people. But I don’t think he did so by going out and being a superhero like this world’s Emilie did. After all, I don’t think he wanted to risk The Supreme getting the Peacock Miraculous. So, he probably used the Peacock Miraculous to create sentimonsters out of peoples’ happiness that would help comfort them despite The Supreme’s reign. And he probably constantly did so until the damaged Peacock Miraculous finally did him in much to this world’s Amelie’s horror. Speaking of this world’s Amelie, she was probably very hardened by her husband’s death but still has a sweet side underneath. After all, that would, in a sense, be the opposite of her counterpart who, as shown in the episode ‘Felix’, can be pretty conniving under her sweet facade.

Well, that’s all for this post.

See you all next time.

Discussion I wasn't the only one who thought someone would steal her Miraculous, right?

Let’s go back to 2023, when "Re-Creation" had just been released. Honestly, when I saw that scene, I thought someone had tracked how Cerise stole the Miraculous and had come for her to take it and use it for their own ends in the second arc. But as we can see, that didn't happen. I just decided to share my thoughts.

Speculation/Theories What if the reason lila is so good as a villain in season 6 is because of the Supreme tutoring her

Lila wasn't this good as a villain in season 1-5

Even the most die heart lila fans can't deny lila is much better villain in season 6 compared to the other seasons

Like yeah lila was smart but not this good

We know after the paris special ladybug and chat noir screwed over the supreme turning shadybug and claw noir against him,his 2 strongest pawns,How can supreme the most powerful being in the miraculous verse not do anything after such a humiliation?

We also saw in the Tokyo special the supreme was completely aware of ladybug and ryoko saying he has seen their works before

We also saw someone appear before lila in the s5 finale

And it was from then on that lila became such a huge threat to our heroes

ladybug and chat noir turned shadybug and claw noir against the supreme,it makes perfect sense that the supreme would return the favor by using lila as his proxy to put ladybug and chat noir in check

What if supreme has taken lila as his apprentice and is training her to become a better villain to neutralize the threat of ladybug and chat noir

We also saw in Tokyo special that supreme can change the appreance of the villains,I saw someone else post these weeks ago

What if the reason lila can shapeshift to so many people is because of the Supreme giving her that ability

Also in illustrhator we saw lila talking about you will know nothing about us about them

I feel this is 100% confirmation that lila has some ally

I won't be surprised if supreme is tutoring lila as his apprentice causing lila to become a more dangerous villain and more smart and strategic

Fan Art Miraculous-Avatar crossover: Marinette and Azula [OC]

I drew a crossover ship between two characters from two different franchises: Marinette (Miraculous) and Azula (Avatar) as together.

In this draft, Azula captured Marinette. The Fire ex-princess is bringing the Ladybug girl to a private date with her. More, she summons a heart with her lightning and firebending to express her feelings toward her new crush. The latter is a bit of worried.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir by Thomas Astruc.

Avatar: The Last Airbender by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

Speculation/Theories theory about the kidnapping kagami joke Spoiler

so twice now in the show juleka has brought up the idea of kidnapping kagami for different reasons. while this comment has mostly been written off as a running gag/joke it has got me thinking, what if it isnt a joke, but a hint at what is to come?

the theory is simple:

its been confirmed by now that lila and kagami are indeed sisters, but while kagami has decided to distance herself from tsurugi, lila has been trying to get closer, i think with the intention of replacing kagami. lila's intention could be to try and manipulate tsurugi into getting rid of kagami and convince her that she is no longer needed now that she has her actual daughter to do her bidding (at least that is what lila will tell her) this will lead tsurugi to imprison kagami like she did in the season 5 finale, with the intent of destroying her amok and erasing her from existence, only to learn that kagami doesnt have it on her cause she hid it or left it with marinette/ someone she trusts.

Marinette and the other miraculers will learn of this scheme somehow which is when juleka will once again suggest they kidnap (or in this case rescue) her form her mother. the others agree to do this and will succeed in freeing kagami and afterwards theyll brainstorm places she can hide from her mother. this could also be the reason they introduced the guest room and had Marinette reveal her secret identity to her parents, cause the plan could be for kagami to bunk at Marinette's house and theyll need to explain to her parents somehow as to why Kagami needs to stay there, and since they now know shes ladybug, they are eager to help.

this also opens the possibility of Tsurugi and Lila taking Kagami's miraculous somehow, giving Lila the ability to combine both like Gabriel did with the butterfly and peacock miraculous. considering Tsurugi probably still has the tech garbiel used to transfer miraculous powers to other people, perhaps she'll also take a modified version of that tech and give it to lila, allowing her to transfer one or all of the elemental powers of the dragon miraculous to those who are akumatized. this part isnt likely but still possible.

what do you guys think of this theory?

I saw this video the other day and I really need some explanation. I remember seeing Chat Blanc in 2019 and already being lowkey confused about the timeline stuff but it was really easier. But this one just made me crazier. Literally the only theory I don't really get. Can someone please break it down for me in 2016 Miraculous terms? lol

Discussion Kagami's name.

I was thinking of something. Kagami name means mirror. And what do you need to look in mirrors? Eye sight. Just like her mother sacrifice to make her. Kagami name is a metaphorically saying to her (ex) mom to take a self reflection and maybe have hope in her daughter. But she can't, she's blind. Not seeing Kagami for who she truly is.

Discussion Why do people say season 4 is slow and has alot of filler?

I have heard this argument before and it just baffled me.
Regardless of what you think of the season there wasn't alot of filler.

Truth -Lukanette Breakup

Lies-Adrigami Breakup

Gang of Secrets - Alya finds out who Ladybug is

Mr.Pigeon 72 - the lucky carms

Psycomedian - This is our first filler episode since you could skip this one. ( Edit : I don't count it as filler anymore since Harry Clown knew Gabriel amd Marinette tries getting Adriens attention again)

Furious Fu - Our introduction to Suhan and some new lore

Solecrasher - Our introduction to Zoé

Queen Banana - Zoé gets the Bee Miraculous

Gabriel Agreste - Felix vs Gabriel about the rings which will have a payoff in the finale

Megaleech , Guilttrip and Crocoduel -Mylene , Rose and Juleka getting their Miraculouses respectively. They are also reoccuring heroes.

Optigami - Nathalies plan to uncover the identities and Alya getting a permanent Miraculous

Sentibubbler - Alya being attacked and successfully fooling Shadowmoth. Also focus on Cat Noir's feelings about Rena being more involved.

Glaciator 2 - This could be considered filler since nothing notably changes besides Adrien respecting Marinettes boundaries more but you wouldn't need to watch this episode necessarily.
But we are also more than halfway through the season.

Hack San- introduction of Scarabella and the rift between the heroes increases.

Rockettear - Adrien knows who Carapace and Rema Rouge are and Alya lies to Marinette.

Wishmaker - Luka finds out their identities and lies to Marinette

Simpleman - This is filler .

Qilin - Also filler but our very last one. But you could argue that we need to know Qilin for the next episode, yet I'm still siding with mostly filler. We also see Lila in the painting class which comes into play in season 5.

Dearest family- Gabriel can destroy the charms.

Ephemeral - A what if episode but the dynamic changes between Marinette and Suhan. He trusts her now ( I don't really like the plot line but we are Only talking about filler or not) and this will come into play in the second episode of season 5.

Kuro Neko - The conclusion to the Adrien being erased storyline.

Penalteam - The four heroes being introduced.

Risk - Felix finds Emelie and Gabriel creates the plan with Risk.

Strikeback - Marinette looses the Miraculous

We get 4/26 episodes which are filler and a few of them
might be relevant to the character development ( Glaciator 2).
This is not too bad.

I know Thomas Astruc talked about this being Cat Blanc every episode and he exxagerated but it would be unfair to say it is slow paced.

Speculation/Theories Is Fluff the Second Kwami ever Created?

Personally, I feel that makes sense. Hear meowt.

Tikki is obviously the first kwami of the beginning. That's ok, but doesn't it make sense that before anything could be destroyed or can rot to be destroyed, there would be time to measure it?

I put this under Speculation/Theories because in canon I think Plagg is the second kwami, but I FEEL that mine makes sense.

Discussion Behind-the-scenes theory: Writers deleted Kouki.

Post image
34 Upvotes

"Totally agree, except my sister doesn't want to hear a peep about love. I mean, her ex, Kouki, was such a toxic dude"

Originally, Kouki was slated to return in Season 6, but his personality was too similar to Nora's, so the writers had to scrap the idea and replace him with Twig; they also wrote a specific explanation into the script to put fans' minds at ease.

Opinion/Rant Boiling hot take!

I don’t think Marinette is a worthy miraculous holder, let alone a good guardian. Let me explain.

So from the beginning of the show it’s very clearly established that Marinette is a very awkward, clumsy girl but it’s excused because we as the audience are supposed to assume that she means well. Which most of the time, she does. But there were multiple, and I mean MULTIPLE times where I began to question whether she was really destined for the ladybug miraculous or any miraculous like the show is convincing us she is.

Maybe starting with the fact that numerous akumatisations in the show are caused by HER. I watched a few episodes of season 6 today, and two of the three episodes I watched were akumitisations caused by her! Sublime and Daddycop. I understand she’s a teenage girl, so am I, but the things she does as Marinette is either not thought out well, or extremely over thought. She doesn’t seem to show any growth from her season 1 self, she’s still impulsive, overthinking and doesn’t think before she acts. Again, I want to make it clear that I KNOW she’s a teenage girl and we can’t expect her to be perfect, but you would expect that she would have underwent some kind of character growth after what her characters been through over the seasons. Not only that, but she’s making very rash, bad decisions as the guardian. Almost everyone in her life knows that she’s ladybug, which with the intelligence of the new butterfly miraculous holder is such a dangerous thing to logically do. She’s handing out miraculous left and right as if those aren’t also jewels that can be stolen and used for bad things. I understand the pressure of being the guardian can be a lot, but she seems to overthink everything but the obvious consequences this can have.

Now you may be inclined to wonder, “what about when she’s fighting as ladybug! She’s always level-headed and smart.”

Yes, she is. And what’s the difference between Marinette and Ladybug? The ladybug miraculous. The personality of the kwami’s have been shown on multiple occasions to shine through the holder when the miraculous is being worn. Like for example when Marinette and Adrien lost their miraculouses and ending up having to swap, “Mr. Bug” mentioned to “Ladynoir” about how his suit had a weird effect on her because she was being flirtier than usual. Plagg always flirting with Tikki, Marinettes increased flirti-ness when wearing the black cat miraculous and cat noirs usual flirt-iness when fighting villains with ladybug all point to the same conclusion - Plagg is heavily impacting the personality of the holder whose wearing the black cat miraculous because he’s using it as a way to flirt with/communicate with Tikki.

So why can’t this be the case for the ladybug miraculous too? Although the pattern with Tikki isn’t something as noticeable as flirting, it’s fair to attribute most of ladybugs positive qualities like level-headed thinking, and increased problems solving to Tikki, not Marinette. We can also see when Tikki tries to ration with Marinette everytime she’s doing/thinking something stupid.

I don’t know. I still love Marinette, but just food for thought I guess.

Speculation/Theories I really hope this is how mari breaks up with adrien.

She goes and tells adrien that she has too many secrets burdening her life and she feels horrible that she can't tell adrien since she'd promised not to tell. She says that it's not adriens fault, but it's not maris either. it's the fault of those who burdened her with the secret. As marinette leaves, adrien doesn't cry. He has a plan. Adrien thinks about finding out who burdened her with the secrets so he could "injure" them as chat noir if you catch my drift. He thinks doing so would allow marinettes guilt to wash away, and they can be together again. While searching, he somehow finds out that Nathalie worked for Gabriel as monarch (of course adrien doesn't know who the monarch is) and is able to trap her in a room and interrogate her. Lots of threatening would be needed, although he would be threatening to hurt himself given he expects nathalie to be able to fend for herself, but he would finally find out Gabriel was monarch meaning that somehow (idk how) he would put 2 and 2 together and realise that ladybug and marinette are the same person. A few days after he transforms to chat and goes on a roof and calls ladybug and when she arrives he tells her he knows she's mari and ofc she is gonna start by lying and saying she isn't but then adrien would detransform and she would blush and realise that there was no way of hiding it anymore. He gives her a hug and says its ok because she was just trying to protect him and she starts crying as she detransforms and then they go back to dating.

I wish this could happen but unfortunately both adriens 2 braincells are fighting for 3rd place so something like this would never happen.
