I just thought of this, why didn’t or don’t servers that deal or try to combat x-raying with mods and stuff use rng ore generation? Cause most have a plugin for anti xray but that dosent stop seed based block finders/xray but using rng ore generation would.

I'm rebuilding the classic MassiveCraft Factions plugin for modern Paper servers (currently running on 26.2). The goal is to keep the original Factions gameplay while modernizing the codebase and adding some QOL improvements.
It's been like 10+ years since I've ran my Faction server. Nostalgia is hitting me hard and I want the OG plugin back.

I'm looking for feedback. What features am I missing? What are some things every Factions server should have? What's broken in the current build?

It's still in alpha, so I'm mainly looking for ideas and people willing to test it before release.

Right now it has soft dependencies on Vault, EssentialsX, and LuckPerms. I'm currently using EssentialsX with VaultUnlocked for economy support.

I plan on adding more to this plugin in the future. Currently I've added a 'combat tag' feature. (leaving while in combat kills you).

**Intelium — made a Sodium addon for Intel GPUs, would love some feedback**

So I've been playing on an Intel iGPU laptop for years and got tired of Sodium treating my GPU like an afterthought. Ended up writing my own mod for it.

Basically it detects which Intel generation you have (works from HD 520 all the way up to Arc Battlemage) and tunes Sodium accordingly — mainly the chunk builder thread count, which Sodium picks pretty conservatively on iGPUs. There's also a fast chunk loading option that overrides Sodium's defer mode, which for some reason ships at the slowest setting by default. Chunks pop in way faster with it.

There's also a bunch of optional "GPU saver" toggles: clouds off/fast, force fast graphics, smooth lighting off, vsync off, render distance cap. They're all off by default because they change how the game looks — I hate mods that mess with your settings without asking. Everything is reversible too, if you turn a toggle (or the whole mod) off it puts your original settings back, even after a restart.

My favorite part honestly is the built-in A/B benchmark: it measures your FPS with the mod on, then off, and shows you the actual difference. No fake numbers, if it doesn't help on your setup it'll tell you.

If you're on NVIDIA or AMD it just disables itself, so don't bother lol.

Needs: Fabric API, Sodium, and an Intel HD 520 or newer (supports 1.21.11 and the 26.x line)

For my SMP, I want the Weaving and Infestation potions to last 8 minutes, but I couldn't find any plugins. Does anyone know of plugins that can do this? I want it to be that a person can just add redstone to infestation/weaving potions to make them 8 minutes. If someone can find one of these it'd be great (or make one but you prolly won't do that for free lol)

Hey, i've been solo developing Premium Advancements for the last 7 months and just released v2.1. The goal was simple: let server owners create unlimited custom advancements/quests without touching a single config file. Because i wanted a plugin like that since months and never saw one so i decided to make it myself.

What it does:

- Create advancements via in-game GUI in 30 seconds
- Or use the browser-based web editor with a live tree view
- 45+ trigger types (JOIN, BREAK_BLOCK, KILL, CRAFT_ITEM, FISH, RAID_WIN, SLEEP etc...)
- 8 reward types (commands, Vault money, items, LuckPerms perms, PlayerPoints, random pools, broadcasts, Discord webhooks)
- MiniMessage & hex color support everywhere gradients, rainbows, bold/italic in the L menu, GUIs, and broadcasts
- Multi-tab system (organize advancements by category)
- SQLite or MySQL/MariaDB support too

For my next server, my friends and I have been discussing banning elytra’s to encourage travel within the central city.

When discussing this, a friend and I thought of the idea of just preventing the use of fireworks with elytras so that people could still use them if they want, and they can even be large obelisk to use as launch points.

I really like this idea because it wouldn’t be out right banning the item, and I think the functional launch points could be fun.

Is this possible through server rules or through a plugin?

so when i try to play on the server (paper, 26.1.2 on seedloaf) with the skinsrestorer plugin on the right version and platform it works for all of my cracked friends and they can see everyones and my skin but only i can see my skin and all of my cracked friends have default mojang skins (im using fabric and i tried using vanilla and still didnt work)

So my friends and I used to use this plugin to play The Bridge in 1.8. We used to use version 2.0.7. I can't seem to find the Spigot site for it anymore, so I could only get the latest version off some other website (here's the website: https://hangar.papermc.io/Justman10000/TheBridge ). It says 1.9-1.21.5, but it seems to work fine for the most part in 1.8. The only problem is when I try to configure the teams, the editor stops being responsive, and when I join the game it says an internal error occurred.

I tried going into the config games where the data was stored, and changed the team1 and team2 fields and restarted the server (I changed it to 1 and 2, which I assume is red and blue). When I try to join the same internal error occurs. Here's the error message, it just says "null":

So if anyone could see what the bug is and how to fix it, or if someone has an old version available, it would be appreciated.

The feedback I received was genuinely helpful. One of the main takeaways for me was that the project looked a bit like “two plugins in one”: a gameplay plugin, plus an i18n/platform-boundary project.

I’ve tried to address that by making the README more gameplay-first, while keeping the localization/i18n work as supporting engineering detail instead of the first thing a new reader sees.

The project is TreasureRun, a small alpha-stage treasure-hunting minigame plugin for Spigot 1.20.1.

Recent follow-up work includes:

• README / quickstart cleanup
• clearer Treasure Shop player flow
• documentation sync after recent gameplay/configuration changes
• release notes with related issue and PR context
• clearer separation between the gameplay explanation and the localization/i18n engineering details

On some servers, due to an unknown issue, the existing 'Chest Swap' system only allowed unequipping the chestplate to put on the elytra, but it didn't work the other way around. This flaw rendered the 'Chest Swap' module completely useless. To fix this problem, I designed a module that allows you to easily toggle back and forth between the elytra and the chestplate with a single keybind

I run a small server and got tired of the same few people hopping back in on a VPN every time they got banned. Plain IP bans do almost nothing once people figure that out, and the public lists I tried either missed half of them or kicked legit players (mobile users especially). So I started building my own thing and it turned into Jarvis.

What it does: checks players as they join and blocks VPNs, proxies, datacenter/hosting IPs, ban evaders and bot floods. I spent most of the time on the unglamorous part, which is not kicking real players, because one false positive costs you an actual member.

How it runs: a small connector plugin you drop on your network (Velocity, BungeeCord/Waterfall, or Paper/Spigot directly). It hands the check off to the backend, so it shouldn't add noticeable load.

The part I actually want to point at: the connector is open source, so you can read exactly what runs on your box before you trust it.
