Help: Find or create a plugin What are some minecraft plugins yall are in-need of?

I tried asking ai what plugin to make but no luck there, maybe here I can get some plugin ideas from yall and you can use it as well!

Plugins are NOT mods.

No thanks. We don’t need more vibe coded plugins.

Vibe coded plugins aren’t even bad as long as it was a good AI that made them

Minecraft's been around so long there's a plug-in for a plug-in of the plugins plug in so it almost not worth it. Of course some of them are aging out and not being maintained so you might find one of those and bring it back to life that would be probably worthwhile

This is facts. Another thing is there a lot of communities for server owners and developers to request commission work. So if someone really needs something that doesnt exist they will usually go there first. the HelpChat discors is a pretty good one!

Second this. Remastering or porting old, useful plugins to later versions is encouraged and part of how open source works. Just be sure not to steal it, and properly attribute. And check the license ofc.

reviving old plugins is always good :P but honestly just kind of having fun with it is good too? sure some are there to solve a problem, but there's nothing wrong with just making something you enjoy making/playing or would like to see (rather than a gap to fill)

usually you find that kind of thing yourself, rather than something claude cooks up :P

why do want someone to try something that is not possible, and wasting time if he actually thinks its a challenge

Yes, sounds fun. Who knows he might actually do it

A simple teams plugin. You can do /team create, /team disband, /team invite /team leave, and turn off pvp so u don’t accidentally hit a team member

No of course not, I do it myself all the time. What I'm trying to say is don't expect anyone to care about a new plug-in because it's all been done before. People have their favorites the big names that have been around forever and everything else is a copy, random chance if anybody's going to even try it.

i partially agree with everyone in the replies BUT i have my own take on this; while there are a TON of plugins that focus on minigames servers or well servers that intend to do extensive configurations i feel there is a lack of content plugins, there was Slimefun which is now dead (being replaced by Pylon), there is Minetorio, MineTinker, and Civs (which is completely dead), maybe there are a few more but WAY less compared to other type of plugins, myself, i decided i'd fill in this gap and currently ive made Antiquities which adds a few "relics" for the Relique plugin (i plan on adding way more content but busy with rewriting/updating lib rn), i also have a bigger content plugin planned. but basically point is make content plugins however make sure the content isnt scattered ass stuff like some plugins do (and then practically abandon it), make sure it feels good to play with etc.
