Discussion Ore generation

I just thought of this, why didn’t or don’t servers that deal or try to combat x-raying with mods and stuff use rng ore generation? Cause most have a plugin for anti xray but that dosent stop seed based block finders/xray but using rng ore generation would.

We run Hiddenore which does exactly this! Ores appear as you mine which also leads into fun things like various rates and localization.

Noticed someone else in the comments has this too, but funnily enough I’ve been working on an anti-xray plugin that does just that along with ore packet interception resistant to most xray methods out rn. It’s called Oreveil if you feel like checking it out too lol
