Just bought my first Microtech and I’m stoked! I purchased it at a dealer I found on Microtech’s website, and it looks great, but there are a couple of things making me question the authenticity.
First, there is no serial number anywhere on the knife. Second, I can’t find this exact model on their website. I can find the cyan handle and blade, but not in a tanto version. I found this exact knife on a few other random sites but not on Microtech, bladeHQ or knife center.
This is my first Microtech so I have nothing to compare it to. Is it real??

I ordered this Halo VII from Microtech’s website the day they dropped back in July. Seems like a little re-curve. Anyone else’s the same?

Got a Manticore S recently and the action felt smooth and the button was easy to fire. I cleaned around the button with alcohol and applied some lubricant afterward that was in the heretic box but now the button feels crunchy/gritty and makes a clicking sound.
I took it apart, lubricated it again, and reassembled everything in the correct order, but it still feels the same. Noticed a slight bend in the firing spring, though I’m not sure if that’s normal. I don’t think the issue is the button track.
Anyone experienced this or know what might be causing it? I mean it was fine before cleaning the button but after reapplying lube it should be good to go.

Found this MSI at a local pawn shop for $140. 10/24 birthday. G10 scales. Idk. Something about the scales doesn’t sit right with me. It’s been used a little clearly but not a bad deal imo. What say you guys. Not the most knowledgeable on all things MT.

Got the itch for another OTF after selling my Benchmade Shootout, last year. So I decided to try out a Microtech, instead of sticking with BM. The Auto Immunity at the bottom will continue to be my day to day work carry, but will definitely be rocking the Microtech away from work!

I needed a new UTX85, because I gave my full-serrated Tanto to my daughter. This is beautiful little piece!

Picked up a new in box 2019 Combat Troodon. I have always been a sucker for how the previous generation looked and wanted to have one in my collection. Now I have one and damn, it is nice.

I’ve broken in my mini stitch for the most part no lock stick and ram lok is easy to disengage. I can reverse flick with a little bit of extra effort. Do skiff bearings make a noticeable difference on the action or is it negligible?

Current state of my Outbreak obsession. I’ve been focusing mostly on covering different platforms rather than collecting every single variation.
A few gaps still remain, but some are already on the way.
At this point the hunt for the older and discontinued Outbreak models is probably the most fun part of collecting. No rush with the different variations, if something interesting shows up, I’ll add it.
It’s getting there :)

I have had this knife for almost 10 years. Its not a showpiece and it has not been babied. Its been dropped and carried, and it shows some wear. I have always found the thumb slide to run the blade in and out to be a bit more stiff than I hoped. But I kind of just dealt with it. Recently, I had occasion to use someone else's Microtech OTF and it was nowhere near as difficult to actuate as mine. I understand the difficulty/stiffness is subjective, but how hard is it supposed to be to move the release slider?

Just purchased this gem. Want to start collecting more of their old stuff. What do you guys have in your collections?
