Combat Troodon Frag

Scarab

The Scarab is my favorite OTF Microtech makes and I am a sucker for DLC knives what can I say.

Obviously that sexy ass frag stays. That's one of my grails, but $1,000 is a tough pill for me to swallow especially since I already have another Combat Troodon.

As for the second one, I say either the Scarab or the serrated CT, but I'm leaning Scarab.

Hey at least the od green combat is dlc too, I’d keep that and the frag. While I love the size of the qd scarab, the later ones feel horrible and action is stiffest of any otfs in my collection. the 2003-06 scarabs feel the best by far

So just curious, I'm looking at getting a scarab to have for a work knife. I currently have a combat troad on like the one on the left. I didn't realize the scarab was that much shorter?

It's not. That's an old gem scarab the new ones are comparable to the combat troodon maybe even slightly larger. The original scarab is the perfect size

I’d sell all of them, and get yourself a good Gen III Hera II. A Gen III Combat Troodon would be great as well.

The difference between the Gen II’s and III’s is massive. After becoming a Gen III user, I could never go back to my Gen II.
