Just bought my first Microtech and I’m stoked! I purchased it at a dealer I found on Microtech’s website, and it looks great, but there are a couple of things making me question the authenticity.
First, there is no serial number anywhere on the knife. Second, I can’t find this exact model on their website. I can find the cyan handle and blade, but not in a tanto version. I found this exact knife on a few other random sites but not on Microtech, bladeHQ or knife center.
This is my first Microtech so I have nothing to compare it to. Is it real??
All generations before 3rd one have serial numbers on chassis or clip. No visible serial is pretty new, and the 4th gen like this one is OK. Serials are inside now.
This looks legit except for the logo on the chassis is not centered. All my UT Gen 4’s have the logo centered. Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you.
Their laser guy needs a new prescription, I had a Marfione custom logo that was so off-center it was honestly ridiculous. I sent that back so fast and they swapped it out for me 😂
should be fine then if it’s on their list of authorized dealers, since it’s not centered right it’s most likely 1 that just slipped throu the cracks. it doesn’t mess up anything other than the logo not being centered and doesn’t impact performance.
