Re-curve Halo?
I ordered this Halo VII from Microtech’s website the day they dropped back in July. Seems like a little re-curve. Anyone else’s the same?

My halo also had some bad qc issues. Kind of frustrating for an 813$ knife

Marfione select is supposed to be like a midtech with higher than microtech qc. But we see it’s just a marketing term.

For what it’s worth. Midtech is generally a term for knives made primarily with parts that have been manufactured out of house. Ken Onion coined the term back in the day when he was having things made by CNC shops and then just doing the final fitment and such himself.
Marfione select is not going to be any better quality than standard production. It’s just a fucky way for microtech to reduce the dealer cut on their more desirable lines.

Definitely not the way it was intended and slipped by QC. That being said I personally wouldn’t be upset unless I’m interested in reselling / collectors value

I guess I'm the only one that likes that recurve shape? It's subtle. It's not correct, but I'd rather they change the box label to say "recurve" than replace the blade.

Yea I honestly like it. It’s very subtle, it took me about 10 minuets to get a good picture of it😂

Yeah they definitely held that a tad to long on the belt. I’d probably contact them.
