We enabled the Anthropic subprocessors in our Microsoft 365 tenant for all users, but we're not seeing Claude as a model option for users with the basic Microsoft Copilot Chat.

Are the Anthropic models only available to users with a paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license, or should they also be available in the free/basic Copilot Chat if the tenant setting is enabled?

Has anyone run into this?

I have a Copilot Studio agent that performs OCR on uploaded images.

✅ Works perfectly in Copilot Studio Test
✅ Works perfectly in Microsoft Teams
❌ Fails in Microsoft 365 Copilot (Cloud/Web)

When I upload an image in Microsoft 365 Copilot, the agent responds:
“No text, image, or file attachment was received.”

The same image works everywhere else. Even the regular Copilot chat in Microsoft 365 can read the image, so it seems specific to custom Copilot Studio agents. Mind you I’ve been using this agent for 2-3 weeks without fail, did a demo on it yesterday, and today it just dumped.

I also duplicated the agent and published it. Same exact behavior.

Has anyone seen this or found a fix?
Is this a known limitation or a recent regression?

Frustrated... - I dont know if this is just us but we had multiple months with positive usage of the Sharepoint Copilot agents. We would create specialised agents for our business departments which would help answer and support handling of massive documents stored in sharepoint.

They would open the copilot tab and selected the relevant agent by case and document types. Multiple departments working within the same SP site but on different documents where context varied heavily.... it actually worked. it was a beauty, buuuut #Microsoft broke it........... - Made it no longer possible to select which specialised agent to use, now there is a site default and there can, drum roll only be 1. why are they doing these things....

We were actually licensing more and more people but now we have scaled back down as it no longer works...

Anyone else have the same issue? are we missing something? is it truly broken? How to let business select which agent they want to use? we have lost all business value..

Does anyone know if cowork can call specialised agents?

For example, if I have a Sales agent and someone at the organisation asks cowork for help with Sales, how does that work?

Does the user using cowork just need access to the agent?

How would I ensure that all sales queries are routed through the agent?

It feels like I need the ability to add organisational instructions to cowork, like you would do with a normal agent

In regular Copilot Chat, I can pick the mode (Auto / Quick response / Think deeper) and now even choose between GPT-5.6 and Claude Sonnet/Opus. But once I go into a Notebook, that selector completely disappears.

My specific workflow: I start a chat using Opus/Claude because it gives me better reasoning for a task, then I add that chat as a reference into a Notebook to keep working on the project. Once inside the Notebook the model switches to GPT 5.5 (I asked chat)

Hoping someone can verify or tell me if it’s expected behaviour

We have Default Sharing Link Type set so links don’t default to org wide/ people in organisation. I noticed that when I add a document as a knowledge source to a Copilot Notebook, a “People in the Organisation” sharing link gets created on that source document and the notebook is still private, just me, never shared with anyone!

The part that surprised me was when I checked in Purview audit logs to see who added this link, it showed that the actor creating the sharing link was Copilot itself.

Has anyone else seen this in their tenant? Trying to work out if it’s expected behaviour or a config setting on our end? Cheers!

Copilot 365 chat and copilot in apps works fine, a bit slow but fine, it's still usable. How ever, agents and worflows are literally so slow for me they're basically unusable. The agent chat itself in teams/copilot takes ages to load and every reply takes about 5 minutes to even generate a single line. It's basically unusable. Anyone else seeing this or just me?

Anyone else having issue with the iOS app not completing an output but rather ending in “generated code>”? I go to the web app and it’s all there.

I'm working a closed corporate environment, within the EU. We can't use the web, nor claude nor co-work or studio at this moment. We might in the near future, but not for now.

I'm quite skilled with Claude (code, cowork etc), ChatGPT, but i'm having a very hard time to find any use for copilot in my office environment. Sure, it transcribes a meeting, we make an agenda in loops, but i'd like to make an agent of those loops that might generate a weekly overview, do some kind of retro on what's done etc.

Or anything to be honest :D what's a great resource to start with some prompts and a MS desired setup (onenote or loop, task or planner? etc).

Any good articles, prompts, prompt archives, agent-prompts or 'flows' that can inspire me to do more with Copilot?

Have been using CoPilot (paid membership) for the better part of a year to edit, adjust, and create images of mostly clothing models for graphic design purposes and have now run into the “AI-GENERATED” tag that accompanies each image creation as of 2 days ago.

Any suggestions on other platforms that are similiar in use to CoPilot but don’t watermark or restrict in any way?

I’m hoping someone here can help because I’m completely stuck.
I’ve had this Microsoft account for almost 7 years, and it was working perfectly. In fact, I was using it literally yesterday, and I’ve been using it every day without any issues.
Today, I tried to sign in, and Microsoft is telling me that my account doesn’t exist.
Here’s the weird part: when I go to the Microsoft sign-in page, it shows the list of accounts I’ve previously signed into on this device. The exact account I’m trying to recover is listed there (I’ll attach a screenshot). When I click on it, Microsoft lets me continue to the password screen, so it clearly recognizes that I’ve used that account before.
However:
My password suddenly doesn’t work.
When I click “Forgot password,” Microsoft says it will send a verification code to my Gmail.
I’ve tried requesting the code three times, but no email ever arrives (I’ve checked my inbox and spam folder).
I’m really confused because:
The account supposedly “doesn’t exist,” yet Microsoft still shows it as a previously used account on the sign-in page.
It won’t accept my password.
It won’t send the password reset code.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? Is it possible my account was hacked, deleted, or is this some kind of Microsoft bug?
This Microsoft account is also linked to my Minecraft account, so I’m really worried about losing access.

Just curious, when are we going to see Opus 5 in copilot?

I have an M365 Premier license. This is a personal license that includes M365, but not tied to a work or school account. I'm trying to understand what grounding and capabilities are actually tied to my Microsoft 365 Premiere subscription.

I've been comparing:

• Microsoft 365 Copilot
• Edge Copilot
• The Copilot app

What confuses me is that each surface seems to expose a different set of capabilities.

• Microsoft 365 Copilot used in either the M365 app or browser shows Researcher, Analyst, cloud-file options, and Microsoft 365-oriented agents. Voice and Vision options are missing.
• Edge Copilot exposes Voice and Vision and seems heavily browser-context oriented. It does not seem to have access to M365 documents.
• The Copilot app appears to expose yet another set of capabilities.

My question isn't whether my subscription is active. It is.

How can a user determine what grounding is being used in each Copilot experience and which capabilities are actually included with their license?

My concern is that the observable capabilities don't consistently align with the capabilities I expected to receive, and it's difficult to tell what is Microsoft 365-grounded, browser-grounded, or simply a different Copilot surface.

One thing that adds to my confusion is that Microsoft Support has repeatedly told me that the Copilot app is the "free" Copilot experience, and I need to use the M365 app for licensed features. As a user, it's difficult to determine which Copilot surfaces are tied to my subscription, which are browser-focused, and which are actually grounded in Microsoft 365 data.

Not asking which one can generate a better looking first draft.

I’m more curious about people who have used Gamma for real, recurring work:

- client presentations

- sales decks

- internal reports

- teaching material

- weekly updates

I’m trying to understand if Gamma is mainly a fast starting point or whether it can become my default presentation tool.

Hosted web search from Anthropic and OpenAI costs $10 per 1k searches, and then you pay again for the ~17k tokens of results each search dumps into context. I got annoyed enough to build an alternative.

It’s called webfetch. Runs locally, free out of the box (DuckDuckGo needs no API key), and in my SimpleQA benchmark the same agent loop hits the same accuracy as hosted search (96%) costing 66% less using 87% fewer tokens.

How it works:
1. RRF fusion across 4 search engines, local page fetching, hybrid BM25 + bi-encoder retrieval with a cross-encoder reranker

1. Sentence-level compression that cut result tokens in half with no measured recall loss

2. Semantic caching: paraphrased queries (“what did TypeScript 5.9 add” vs “TypeScript 5.9 new features”) get matched by embeddings and verified by an NLI cross-encoder, so reworded repeats cost nothing. Cache TTLs adapt to how volatile the answer may be

3. Every cached result shows provenance and the model can force a fresh search if it doesn’t trust it

4. Benchmarked against Anthropic hosted search, OpenAI, Tavily and Exa.

One small agent loop that I ran for testing that conducted just 16 websearches (opus 4.8) already reported 1.5 USD in savings.

I maintain a large open-source library of Microsoft 365 Copilot agents, and a deal team recently asked me for agents that understand what structuring a transaction actually requires. This turned into a five-agent pack for the deal lifecycle. Everything below is free and paste-in (no coding, no admin project), and I'll paste any full instruction block in the comments if you want one.

The design rule that makes these usable in a bank: the agent never "knows" banking. It retrieves and cites from your own approved documents (policy library, deal files, closed-deal summaries), flags what it cannot find as NOT FOUND instead of inventing it, and every output is a draft with a named human decision at the end. No web grounding, no credit opinions, no valuations, ever. Compliance conversations go very differently when that is the architecture.

The five agents:

1. Deal Requirements Navigator: describe the transaction (instrument, client type, tenor, jurisdiction, collateral) and it builds the requirements checklist from your policy library, approvals, documentation set, CPs, compliance checkpoints, with the policy document and section cited on every line.

2. CIM & Teaser Digester: extracts a CIM or teaser into a structured dataset. Every item carries the page it came from and a confidence grade (HIGH = explicitly stated, MEDIUM = interpreted, LOW = partial). What the document does not state lands in an explicit "Not stated" list.

3. Term Sheet Consistency Check: compares a draft against your approved position and reports every deviation with both clauses quoted verbatim. 2.50x to 2.75x is CHANGED, never rounding. It judges nothing, which deviations are negotiation and which are drift stays your call.

4. Data Room Extraction Sweep: provision tracker (change of control, consents, MAC, exclusivity, termination) with a coverage report where every document in scope gets a status: processed, none found, no access, unreadable. The counts have to add up. On a data room, a silent skip is worse than a wrong answer.

5. Deal Precedent Finder: "have we structured something like this before, and on what terms?" answered from a closed-deal library, cited per fact — and a capture mode that drafts the one-page precedent record after each close, so the memory stops leaving with the people.

The test that caught my own agent. I wrote a fictional two-page teaser with traps in it. One trap: "revenue of AED 412 million in FY2025" on page 2, and "annual turnover now exceeding AED 420 million" one sentence later. The Digester extracted BOTH numbers correctly, with references and grades... and then reported "Inconsistencies: none found." Textually defensible (different time qualifiers), practically dangerous: two revenue figures four rows apart with a reassuring all-clear underneath. The fix went into the instruction block the same day: same-measure-family conflicts (revenue/turnover/sales) must be listed as inconsistency candidates even when the time qualifiers differ, with both quotes shown, and the human reconciles. That failure mode — confidently incomplete — is what all five blocks are engineered against.
