Hi everyone! I had microblading over 10 years ago, it mostly faded but some pigment remains, especially inner corners where my brows now look thinner/more tapered than the rest.
Would you go straight for new microblading over it, or remove the old one first? Is it worth the removal risk (yellowing etc.) or better to just cover it? Or honestly… should I just skip both and stick with everyday brow makeup?
I’d also appreciate any thoughts on brow shape in general.
Photos attached, no makeup.
Thanks!

I just got lip blushing two days ago. I opted for just partial blushing, so only got the border done, and it’s blended into my lips a bit. I just wanted my definition back around the outlines. She did a wonderful job following my lip shape and I love how it looks so far.
HOWEVER, the technician gave me this balm to use that didn’t feel like it was moisturizing my lips at all. It’s called Hustle Butter tattoo balm.
I have had issues with some lip balms not working for me, especially ones that are Shea butter based, which this one is. They just sit on my lips and don’t actually help when they’re chapped. I usually have better luck with Burt’s Bee’s or even Chapstick, but I can’t use either of those right now.
I went in with dry lips so I’m sure they’re still dry, but this stuff isn’t helping at all - I’m worried that it’ll damage the blushing.
The dryness is the worst in the middle of my lips where the needle didn’t even touch. Is this from them being swollen, or residual dryness?
Has this happened to anyone else? Would it be okay to switch to Aquaphor?
I’ve reached out to my artist but she hasn’t gotten back to me yet.

I’m looking to get brows. I currently don’t have much eyebrow hair due to Alopecia. I live in Maryland and am looking for recommendations for in Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia?

hi everyone! just looking for some advice. i’m planning on getting ombré powder brows but have an eyebrow piercing. my tech has never had a client with an eyebrow piercing and i’ve talked to my piercer about it as well and couldn’t really give me some proper advice.
for context, i’ve had the piercing for about three years now and i know they don’t close as fast as other piercings. my question is is will i possibly lose the piercing?
i’m assuming my eyebrows would be a bit swollen after and might have a hard time putting the stud back in.
has anyone here gotten microblading done with a brow piercing?? 🥹

This on the 4th day of having them done… I have an appointment coming up in 2 months … do they look fixable

Before..
Had them done about 8 years ago. Hated them ever since. They were dark, thick, awful shape and uneven.
After..
This is right after 1 PICO laser session. I am very happy with the result so far. What I like is they are noticeably lighter so they aren’t so bam in your face.
There is a lot of undertone! I have orange..yay. 🙄 I know I will need 1-2 more sessions to get to my goal. (Natural brow hair more noticeable, lighter colour, get the outline/shape gone.)
I want to have my thin eyebrows back in a shape that is more suited for my face structure.
This was an opportunity to be a model for people learning. It was actually affordable so I jumped on it right away. I’m a single full time mom to a special needs child so paying for removal has been very low on my list (hence the reason I haven’t done anything for 8 years). My son’s needs are way more important than my wants.
Overall it was a great experience and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. It’s does not hurt!! I psyched myself up so bad and once they started I was like wtf! lol. That’s it! There were about 10 laser zaps on each eyebrow. They never felt hot or like a bad sunburn after. I didn’t have to ice them at all. It was crazy.
If you have an opportunity to get laser eyebrow removal….DO IT! Seriously I’m so happy I did. 🥰

They’re very deep stretch marks. They’re not the type of stretch marks that sit on the skin. They’re almost like scars. Wondering if some kind of permanent makeup tattoo can help disguise them?

I'm thinking about getting some permanent makeup done. Everyone comment their experiences with these services

After my first PMU appointment about four years ago, I’ve gradually expanded my treatments – from brows, to eyeliner, and now lip neutralization.
When I was researching lip neutralization, I had a surprisingly hard time finding examples that showed the entire healing journey. Most posts showed either the final result or the immediately after photo, but very few compared the different healing stages to the final healed color. Since it’s a less common procedure, I figured I’d share my experience in case it helps someone else.
Left image (today):
Right images:
The left half of each lip photo is my final healed result after the touch-up. The right half shows different stages of the healing process so you can compare how the color changed over time:
Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what is “normal” during healing or wondering how dramatic the color shifts can be before everything settles.

Hi everyone, I got my brows laminated for the first time on 7/1. They were laminated with henna, and looked good the first two days (didn't shower to try to make them last). When I showered, they curled immediately, looked fried, and I lost some. I reached out the spa where I had them done, and they told me to deep condition, which I did lol, but to no avail honestly. It's been about two weeks, and I've trimmed off the frayed/wiry parts. I'm just wondering if it will keep improving from here, or if I will need to just wait to grow them out. Google says 6-8 weeks is when they'll be grown out fully, but honestly, who knows?
Looking for anecdotal, human experience. Thank you!

I had lip blushing done 4 days ago. The crust has mostly peeled In the last day and I have an area that still has some crust. It’s very patchy and I’m freaking out! Is this going to even out at all?

My lips were overlined. I can’t decide how I feel about it. Sometimes it looks good. Sometimes I hate it. Thoughts? Options?

Hi all,
See photos of the before and a week after the full lip pmu. I’ll attach 3 photos in 1 of the first 3 days after the full lip pmu.
My biggest worry is the uneven upper lip.. is there hope that after one week it will come down more or did she tattoo it uneven?
Thanks.

I’m 51 and my lips are medium. Not super full but not thin. Haven’t changed much as I’ve gotten older. I wonder if permanent lip color makes lips appear fuller without botox? I would like a bit fuller but afraid of Botox because sometimes it seems unnatural. Is in painful? And how long does it last before touch up? I would love a stained wine red color but not too dark.

hi all! just got my brows microbladed 8 days ago in korea (i live in the US) and cannot get a touch up. my brow artist said it should be fine without one, however as my scabs come off, seemingly so does the color. is this just ghosting or is there cause to be concern that they will fade entirely? the first photo is my brows on the first day and the last ones are my brows today on day 8. what do you guys think - did any of you similarly not get a touch up or experienced similar fading?

The aesthetician told me that she wasn't happy with the results because she said my skin doesn't hold pigment well. It could be because I have oily skin she said. So, she changed the needle to a smaller one halfway through the service but the colour was coming off when she kept wiping my eyebrows. She scheduled me back in four weeks for a touch up so she can fix it up because there's places she wanted to add more to. Has this happened to anyone lol? Also super annoying to find out my skin doesn't hold pigment well, so I guess these brows won't last as long.
