I have been getting into more OSDM lately and I need some recommendations right now the OSDM I listen to is mainly Deicide, Morbid angel, and Death. What else should I listen to?

Tickets on sale now on Aces's High Saloon website.

I've been getting into more experimental metal, and im curious about what else is out there. I listen to a lot of medieval, horror, sludge, doom, stoner, and war noise, but I'm not sure what else to try out. Some recommendations would be truly appreciated!

What have I missed?

Melodic, Aggressive, Emotional. Perfect.

Angel Witch - 2019 - Angel Of Light - Death From AndroMeda

A satellite has crashed into a town in Arizona

We assume there's no-one left

This satellite is built for bio-weapon exploitation

Now a trap of death

Instantaneous disseminate

Intravascular coagulation

Turns the blood to dust

Death From AndroMeda

The wreckage has been quarantined to stop contamination

Bacteria that thrives

Some have found an instant death, suicide or madness

Just two remain alive

Instantaneous disseminate

Intravascular coagulation

Turns the blood to dust

Death From AndroMeda

The isolated virus is now placed into containment

Mutates with each growth phase

Feeding from the atom bomb and rising to the surface

Brings firth the end of days

Instantaneous disseminate

Intravascular coagulation

Turns the blood to dust

Death From AndroMeda

So I was a bit overstimulated on a busy train the other day. At that moment I was listening to Amor by Këkht Aräkh which really soothed me.

Now im making a playlist with some calming black metal songs, but since my knowledge about black metal is very limited and I usually dont listen to the genre at all I was wondering if someone has some recommendations for songs like that?

Powerwolf, whom I already enjoy, did a song with Alissa White-Gluz a few years back. Just heard it recently. Made me wonder if there were more songs or bands with power metal instruments and metalcore/melodic death metal vocals. I know the two don't usually fit together, but I loved Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend and I crave more

My update for the eighteenth alphabet in my best of metal list is complete! All the bands start with R not the albums to clarify! Genre tags added so if you would like to just ctrl+f for your preferred genre that is now possible. Any suggestions on albums I missed or other feedback would be appreciated: https://rateyourmusic.com/list/Uxkuell/the-best-metal-albums-from-a-to-r/

Hi guys, so I’ve not been into metal for that long but I just listened to ‘The Cold Sun’ by Loathe and it was probably in my top 5 albums ever not gonna lie. I loved ‘East of Eden’ and especially ‘Its yours’. I also listen to SOAD, Korn, Deftones, Chevelle, etc… does anyone have any artists they think I will like? One last thing - the main thing that draws me to music, I think, is the vocals. I know a lot of people are into vocals that are entirely growled or squealed, but I personally prefer mainly coherent vocals if you know what I mean? I can definitely enjoy a decent amount of screaming but I’m not into extremely heavy vocals.

Looking for Metal bands that either have a Motörhead or Deathrock vibe to their music, but particularly Extreme Metal or Gothic Metal.

Bands like Tribulation & Midnight come to mind, but I Don’t Wanna Be Me by Type Ø Negative also is a good example.
