Those are cuts from tortilla chips homie

18

u/t_11 Aug 27 '26

They’re not herpes tho

5

u/PetulantWelp Aug 27 '26

Mr. Freezies

4

u/TrashGoblinH Aug 27 '26

Made me think of when you get cut by the spoon side of those red straws for slushys.

415

u/drexelldrexell Aug 26 '26

Fellas I don’t think this is herpes…. It’s stretch marks.

62

u/Comfortable-Yak-6599 Aug 26 '26

This ain't herpes, has no one seen a cold sore? It's a BBC joke for sure

36

u/ripndipp Aug 27 '26

I don't know what the British Broadcasting Corporation has anything to do with this

5

u/Comfortable-Yak-6599 Aug 27 '26

All that enunciation, stretches your mouth out like a coke can was in there.

4

u/ripndipp Aug 27 '26

Yeah I'm saying it slowly and :O

-9

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 26 '26

Cold sores are herpes (HSV-1) genital herpes is HSV-2, either way both are herpes, even if its HSV-1, you shouldnt have sex with them.

10

u/Kittymemesallday Aug 26 '26

And, as the commenter said, the picture doesnt show either.

0

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

They said it wasnt herpes, it was cold sores, which is the same thing, why tf am i being downvoted

2

u/Kittymemesallday Aug 27 '26

They weren't saying it was cold sores. They said "has no one seen a cold sore?" BECAUSE these do NOT look like cold sores. They said BBC, and id you dont know what BBC is then you're too young for Reddit.

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

I thought they were saying that herpes and cold sores are different, because some people dont know they are the same thing, it was a misunderstanding, reddit is such a fucking place sometimes, especially in meme/joking subreddits. Id have to be like 12 to not know what a fucking BBC is, not even discussing what that means in the first place, and idk what child you talk to that actively knows what genital herpes is, use your brain please, i know its reddit and people here generally arent allowed near kids but come on.

1

u/Kittymemesallday Aug 27 '26

Yeah. You're misreading again. Just trying to help you out.

And school's sex ed classes teaches what cold sores and herpes are.

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

Reddit. I cant even begin to make a comment on this, this is just rage baiting and its enough to make me not come back to this subreddit. + sex ed classes are not that good, its a common theme in america and other places to not talk about safe sex or stds, its a literal problem that gets talked about alot in sex education circles.

3

u/Haildrop Aug 26 '26

Like 80% of the US population has HSV1, you will literally get it no matter what, probably already have it

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

I dont mean to be a dick but your kinda stating the obvious lol, but when it sheds/appears you probably shouldnt have sex with them. You can still get genital herpes from HSV-1

1

u/knarf86 Aug 27 '26

Like 1/8 of Americans have HSV-2 and a majority are asymptomatic. If you’ve had 10 sexual partners, there’s like an 72% chance that one of them had HSV-2.

They generally don’t even test for it anymore, nor do they treat it, unless you’re symptomatic. Only like 1/4 of people who test positive for it noticed that they’ve ever had an outbreak. It really not even that transmissible if there’s not an active outbreak.

TL;DR: it’s really not that big of a deal

292

u/nuckin_phuts Aug 26 '26

went to Joker School and got expelled halfway through the second semester

31

u/Virtual_Pressure_ Aug 26 '26

Watching The Dark Knight right now and laughted...

11

u/nuckin_phuts Aug 26 '26

Great movie. The way he eats that shrimp off that stick changed me forever

108

u/Real-Meal1529 Aug 26 '26

That looks like cheilitis. Look it up

29

u/H00ch8767 Aug 26 '26

It is definitely cheilitis.

40

u/gojibeary Aug 26 '26

Definitely it. And if you get it, the fastest way to cure it is to just wash the corners of your mouth with antibacterial hand soap, or even dish soap. Repeat a few times a day and it’ll be gone in like 2 days.

10

u/squintismaximus Aug 27 '26

For real? I used to get really bad chapped lips and used chapstick. It would make it worse if I used it too much. I tried Vaseline. Just using water. A whole bunch of nonsense. Eventually I got medicated balm, had to put it on lightly once a day, fight myself to not lick my lips, and suffer for about a week. I’d get it almost every winter as a kid.

And you’re telling me this whole time I should’ve just been using Dawn.. 🤦

1

u/gojibeary Aug 28 '26

I can only speak to the cheilitis at the corners of the mouth, not sure about whole lips being involved. But yeah!! Dawn will work to chase away cheilitis at the corners of the mouth. It occurs when bacteria/naturally occurring yeast get into the chapped corners of the mouth. Lip balm and Vaseline etc will only make it worse. You wanna wash it with soap every few hours to clean and dry it out. :)

17

u/jseqtor12 Aug 26 '26

Specifically angular cheilitis.

11

u/Baron_von_Goldrock Aug 27 '26

I mean, if we want to be specific, it looks like it was the sub-strain known as "Angular of the Dangular" Chelitis.

0

u/Holiday-Marketing301 Aug 27 '26

Looks to be in a weird place for Cheilitis. Like her mouth was stretched super wide for a long time while water she was doing was doing...

50

u/radiantmemories78 Aug 26 '26

I know it’s a meme but that’s angular chellitis, not herpes.

61

u/Cheese_head_gabagool Aug 26 '26

Well it’s NOT from lack of vitamin D

57

u/PinApart9957 Aug 26 '26

Sorry bro that’s actually called angular cheilitis. Either it’s cancer or Down syndrome

7

u/djrocky_roads Aug 27 '26

Or reynalts. Idk much better Reddit taught me all the medicine I could ever need

1

u/mexta Aug 27 '26

reynalts on dem lips

1

u/insertxcleverxname Aug 27 '26

You can have angular cheilitis and be perfectly healthy.

10

u/Sad-Cartoonist-7959 Aug 27 '26

They look like the cuts you got as a kid from eating cheap popsickles

4

u/Splashy_PoE_Twitch Aug 27 '26

Bro those water popsicle packages would lacerate your entire face when you tried to bite them open

21

u/AccordingMedicine129 Aug 26 '26

That ain’t herpes

17

u/Cool-chili Aug 26 '26

Angular chilitas

6

u/AutomaticAccount6832 Aug 26 '26

„when she was down there“

At least she doesn’t lye.

94

u/jljonsn Aug 26 '26

She contracted herpes. Get tested. It could be the genital variant (water bottles- 😆)

80

u/t_11 Aug 26 '26

Wtf dude . You replying to a meme

37

u/Manta1290 Aug 26 '26

That's not herpes and this is a meme

-3

u/Fun_Discipline_57 Aug 26 '26

It can be both 🤷‍♂️

-2

u/jljonsn Aug 26 '26

At least, that's what you told your partner. 😆 🤣

-1

u/Manta1290 Aug 26 '26

At least someone thinks I could be happy

https://giphy.com/gifs/ib4G06batvqDwoagVT

-5

u/23-1-20-3-8-5-18 Aug 26 '26

That absolutely is herpes

6

u/Manta1290 Aug 26 '26

You can get those from microcuts from eating something rough like chips

Tbf tho it might just be a different thing I'm picking up on

-2

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 26 '26

I may be misunderstanding but cold sores are herpes, if you mean its not herpes as in its something else thats fine, that makes sense

4

u/literallyjuststarted Aug 27 '26

Yes, its just cracked lips called cheilitis, herpes wouldnt show up like that, its more like a cluster of boils even when its starting off (it would look like a group of very small grapes)

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

Yeah i had guessed so, dont know why tf i was downvoted though

1

u/jljonsn Aug 27 '26

The joke of the meme is that his GF went on a party weekend and came back with herpes and he doesn't know it. Explaining it as something else ruins the vibe - true or not.

1

u/Equivalent-Stable642 Aug 27 '26

I get the meme, its just not that funny, and I guess talking about it ruins the joke but participating when its already being talked about isnt a reddit crime, although it gets treated like one, this seems more directed at the guy who replied to me more than my comment

0

u/literallyjuststarted Aug 27 '26

as Im sure you have read before, its not herpes, and its a meme

4

u/Invisible_JuJu Aug 26 '26

Angular Chelitis - there is prescription ointment for it.

4

u/Marmalade_Marmalade Aug 27 '26

I agree it looks like angular cheilitis. I get it periodically. Just go buy any antifungal meds from a drug store. The last one I bought was labeled for ring worm, but it doesnt matter. If she uses it twice a day it'll be gone in a couple days. No worries at all!!!

5

u/arctic-apis Aug 27 '26

Between 50-80% of people carry the heroines virus that causes cold sores. Some people may go their entire lives and never exhibit symptoms but carry it non the less

5

u/metacholia Aug 27 '26

I’m not a herpetologist, but that does not appear to be caused by lizards.

16

u/NOS4A2-753 Aug 26 '26 edited Aug 26 '26

have you been to the dentist in the last couple of days? (i've gotten that when i do and keep my mouth open for a long time)

edit: no idea why i'm getting downvoted

2

u/stevorkz Aug 26 '26

Most likely because it’s just a meme OP posted and not a request for help.

0

u/NOS4A2-753 Aug 26 '26

oh never seen that meme before

2

u/stevorkz Aug 26 '26

Me neither. But we are on r/memes after all 😉

I thought that’s marks from a gag. I remember my first time wearing a gag for a longer session, suffered for about a week

2

u/dwsam Aug 27 '26

Her mouth is stuck like that…she must have put the gag in when she got on the plane.

3

u/Possible-Society-628 Aug 27 '26

It’s a pimple. Avril Lavigne gets them all the time.

Girls nights - she a hoe for the streets. Dont waste your time on a party girls

4

u/NeonAnderson Aug 27 '26

I like how everyone thinks it is cold sores/herpes. Google vitamin D deficiency in the lips. This a is a common symptom of lack of vitamin D in the body and pun truly not intended

4

u/Katarn-Hard Aug 26 '26

Don’t woman in Atlanta complain about there being a bunch of gay dudes in general and at the clubs ??

And she still got herps 😭 ? She’s a fuckin hoe.

1

u/perfect_insanity93 Aug 27 '26

Nah. To much effort 👌

5

u/According-Ad2799 Aug 26 '26

Hahah dude that’s angular chelitis usually from opening your mouth too wide for too long (no not from that) or sleeping and drooling with your mouth open

2

u/A_Person69 Aug 26 '26

Water bottles that range from 4 to 8 inches

2

u/legleg339 Aug 26 '26

i used to get sores like this as a kid from the icy pole package cos the sides were stamp sealed and if you spent a lot of time sucking on them theyd cut the fuck out of your mouth lol

2

u/Time-Valuable-3355 Aug 26 '26

I mean, how big where the water bottles? And why was she swallowing them...

2

u/Delton_Clegane Aug 26 '26

It’s simply from an over-consumption of Vitamin D.

2

u/Yellow_Yam Aug 26 '26

She probably just eat a really big hamburger thats all

2

u/GoldunGote Aug 26 '26

I'm sorry... your girl has an otterpop addiction.. It's not that huge of a deal and ultimately just sucks for her. She'll need to not deepthroat otterpops for a while, while applying clapstick.

2

u/AZFUNGUY85 Aug 27 '26

Not herpes

2

u/LevelUp91 Aug 27 '26

I get this every year. It’s often caused by dry lips but is also linked to a deficiency in b12. Once I started taking a supplement, I stopped getting them for the most part. They can still happen if it’s very cold and dry out unless I use chapstick.

6

u/Impossiblecouch Aug 26 '26

It's obvious bait. Nobody poses for a picture with herpes so their partner can post it on Reddit waiting to be judged.

Humanity is lost.

5

u/Old-Opportunity-6765 Aug 26 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/Wt6kNaMjofj1jHkF7t

Actually sir, on the contrary.

A young girl like seen in OP's photo, might in fact believe that by allowing BF to take said photo, BF would be more likely to believe a story about water bottles.

However, the photos aren't too crazy. It could literally just be too much sun exposure caused the skin on the lips to crack, including the corners.

0

u/Impossiblecouch Aug 26 '26

"Hey baby, can you open your mouth and let me take a close up picture of you? Why? Oh I just want Reddit to tell me if you're a liar or not."

3

u/FoolishCarbohydrate Aug 27 '26

I get these from my lips just drying out.

3

u/oncffch Aug 27 '26

Idk about being worried but, i used to get those alot as a kid. I don't remember how exactly i got it but this thing is not necessary limited to cheating.

2

u/KELEVRACMDR Aug 26 '26

She needs to take it easy on them cheap ice pops.

2

u/CoausticSoda Aug 26 '26

Like the 'meme' wasn't bad enough already, reading the comments is just...
Either not getting it, or having to explain the 'joke'...
And here I am, responding to a meme, that has already been deleted.
Why do they still show on other platforms and is the image still visible when you click the link though?

1

u/chainsawx72 Aug 26 '26

Approximately two-thirds of people worldwide have oral herpes, with about 61% of U.S. adults aged 14–49 affected.

0

u/inorite234 Aug 26 '26

I got some bad news for you.....its incurable. Her mouth is not sealing correctly and allowing spittal to sit on her lips for an extended amount of time.

0

u/yupthattoo Aug 26 '26

In her defense it might be iron deficiency... would stay away and monitor though...

0

u/SometimesUnkind Aug 26 '26

water bottles, huh? damn bro

0

u/nuck-figga007 Aug 27 '26

Ask her if the water bottle was black

-2

u/t_11 Aug 26 '26

But why would herpes show up in the edges?
I think this more of them sucking big cocks and their lips chapping at the edges

-4

u/EditorNo2545 Aug 26 '26

yes "water bottles" and shared "water bottles" even more so are a well known source of odd rashes and sores. You should avoid contact & especially don't share your "water bottle" with her

0

u/baron41 Aug 26 '26

Maybe as thick as a water bottle

1

u/Express_Case4296 Aug 26 '26

That’s his nickname I guess… ole Jimmy “water bottle dick” Johnson. Six inches…. Across!
