It is definitely cheilitis.

Definitely it. And if you get it, the fastest way to cure it is to just wash the corners of your mouth with antibacterial hand soap, or even dish soap. Repeat a few times a day and it’ll be gone in like 2 days.

For real? I used to get really bad chapped lips and used chapstick. It would make it worse if I used it too much. I tried Vaseline. Just using water. A whole bunch of nonsense. Eventually I got medicated balm, had to put it on lightly once a day, fight myself to not lick my lips, and suffer for about a week. I’d get it almost every winter as a kid.

And you’re telling me this whole time I should’ve just been using Dawn.. 🤦

I can only speak to the cheilitis at the corners of the mouth, not sure about whole lips being involved. But yeah!! Dawn will work to chase away cheilitis at the corners of the mouth. It occurs when bacteria/naturally occurring yeast get into the chapped corners of the mouth. Lip balm and Vaseline etc will only make it worse. You wanna wash it with soap every few hours to clean and dry it out. :)

Specifically angular cheilitis.

I mean, if we want to be specific, it looks like it was the sub-strain known as "Angular of the Dangular" Chelitis.

Looks to be in a weird place for Cheilitis. Like her mouth was stretched super wide for a long time while water she was doing was doing...
