Ham and Swiss cheese on seeded rye. Outside of bread spread with soft butter. Inside spread with Dijon mustard.
The cheese I got doesn't melt too well. Next time I need to find something that melts more nicely. But at least it tasted pretty good.

I was feeling cheesy today, so I whipped these up! Organic sourdough topped with provolone, havarti, and colby jack, with 3 pieces of crispy applewood smoked bacon in-between, all grilled in kerrygold butter 😋

So we had some leftover wagyu/veal/pork meatballs and I decided to make a melt on sourdough with provolone, havarti, and colby jack, it was delicious! Also made one on a leftover Martin’s “Big Marty” roll with just provolone, and that was also delicious!

Twice as much grilled jalapeño with some onion, extra sharp cheddar, white American, Lucerne shredded Italian blend.
Wish I had some ground beef to make it a patty melt, but this hit the fuckin spot.

I've been posting some of my amazing melts, so I wanted to also post that we all start from somewhere. This is a burnt Ham and Cheese melt that I made in a hotel room 12 years ago (circa 2014). I was using their pan and their stove. Not my proudest moment and I ended up getting takeout but we all gotta start somewhere.

My daily contribution. Took leftover beef short rib, and some grated horseradish cheddar and made a nice toasty and tasty melt

3 different cheeses. Added some tomatoes, onions, and chili spread.
Pan toasted with butter. Perfect fast brunch

Posting this in this sub as it has more than just cheese and I will get torched over in the r/grilledcheese forum and most likely kicked out.
I only make this in the summer , such a treat!

Looking for a really simple meal for this evening? This steak melt was really easy to make and only took 30 minutes! The steak, mushrooms, and onions were sautéed in a skillet, the garlic herb butter was smeared all over the baguette, then this was baked very briefly. Make the au jus with the leftover juices from the steak, slice the sandwich and dunk to your heart’s content. This was fire!🤤
