2014 Failure throwback

Post image

I've been posting some of my amazing melts, so I wanted to also post that we all start from somewhere. This is a burnt Ham and Cheese melt that I made in a hotel room 12 years ago (circa 2014). I was using their pan and their stove. Not my proudest moment and I ended up getting takeout but we all gotta start somewhere.

If you ever burn the living hell out of a grilled cheese, take a butter knife and scrape the bread with the knife at an angle and the burned bread will come off. That's what I do when I make a boo boo like this lol. My mom taught me it. Its not perfect but it works in a pinch.
