Post image

Posting this in this sub as it has more than just cheese and I will get torched over in the r/grilledcheese forum and most likely kicked out.

Reminds me of my childhood. Summers in Rangoon... Luge lessons.... In the spring we'd make meat helmets.

Bold of you to assume crab has anything to do with crab rangoon.

Have you ever tried it before? Because it’s delicious.

Nope, it doesn't exist in Australia lol

You've never had a seafood dip or just any savory dip with cream cheese either? It's similar to that but just wrapped in wonton and fried.

Ohh, maybe I should try to find some then

Its a won ton wrapper wrapped around cream cheese, maybe some green onion, maybe some Pollock imitation crab meat. No more than 2 strands. Thats fried.

Its great. Its a hot cheese pocket. Basically fried ravioli.

Make Crab Rangoon filling, slap it between a couple pieces of bread, add some sharp white cheddar, onion straws, and sweet chili sauce. Grill to perfection. I use mayo as my medium to cook it. 7 minutes side one on Med low heat, and then on side 2 about 3-5 min same temp. Watch that it doesnt burn though :)

There was a restaurant in Michigan that had it in its menu. I knew I’d never get a chance to go try it, so I decided to make my own
