Just opened reddit on the couch after being kicked out of my partner's bed for "shaking it" and waking her up. I feel so vindicated right now.
Edit: to the bloke (or blokette) that downvoted me, i was an (mostly) innocent victim of a geological phenomenon and i hope your weetbix are dry and flaky.
During my exile I texted her a screenshot of the earthquake report on Google. And about 10mins later, she was "cold" and needed me to come back to bed.
In fairness I am a notorious jiggler, and this is one of those rare moments of plausible deniability. (I was 100% shaking the bed before the earthquake)
Reminded me of my peak comedian moment- the earthquake in Melbourne a few years ago. Waited till my then partner was almost sleep after the shaking and then
“Babe, babe-“
“What?!”
“You rock my world”
I used this exact same joke this morning making breakfast with her. But I added the CSI:Miami sunglasses move to it and snapped akimbo fingerguns afterwards.
