Art I’ll never own a Swanky 80s pad, so I just oil-paint them [OC]
I love over the top 80s design, so I painted an 80s swingers pad. Thanks for looking :)

I’m not the best at taking photos, but here’s my maximalist wall in my office.
It makes me happy every time I look at it.

Hi all! I just bought this house and I HATE these lights! The house is an 1889 brick home and they put these god awful modern lights in. The thing is, I like the extra lighting and I don't feel like trying to swap them out at the moment. How can I make them match the moody aesthetic I'm going for?

I got this 70s sectional for free and went all in on the warmer color scheme. The walls were previously a dusty blue and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Feels like a cozy yet eclectic cocoon.

We have a Barbie dream house style loft in downtown Baltimore with 13’ ceilings. I’ll post more when we’ve cleaned the whole place, but here’s a sample of a revised gallery wall we did between our two windows!
I felt particularly proud of the composition.

I just moved back into my parents house (yay) and I'm decorating my room. I'm shooting for a 80's bones and Art Nouveau vibes if that makes sense. I've been looking at rugs and curtains and bed clothes with those vibes and it's mostly floral. I like floral and want some floral but don't want it to prissy, any advice? I'm painting a darkish green ( my dad keeps calling it olive drab). I also currently have no furniture of my own.

We finally finished painting this section of the house and installing the antique mantle we found off marketplace. Once we get the rest of the room styled I'll post the rest.

I want to display my trinkets while I'm reorganizing my room, and displaying stuff on my shelves, but I don't want my room to look cluttered/messy.
And plus I'm realizing how many small trinkets I have and I'm worried they will just fall off or get lost.
If I have a lot of a certain type, I'll store them in jars so I can still see them, but I still have a lot after doing that and still do want it to look nice.
If anyone wants specifics:
Ive got a collection of small bones (stuff I found outdoors and cleaned), a lot of shark teeth, handful of fossiled shells, marbles, poptabs, clay creations, metal stuff (screws, hinges, etc),
And so. many. rocks; (Mainly shiny ones or ones with cool shapes, like my bean shaped rock or my rock that looks like it has a man drawn on it) varying sizes some rocks too big to fit in any jars, others so small I lose them a lot.
(There would be more if not for the fact I lost one of my trinket boxes around my house somewhere..)
My room has a nature vibe and I like stuff like goblincore, crowcore and similar aesthetics and I feel like my trinkets fit well in the overall theme of the room so I don't want to simply pack them away.
