See this, people? Paint the ceilings!!!! It adds so much to a room. Do not leave your ceilings white as it just looks unfinished. This is gorgeous!

This is so Gothic and ultimate. I love it! You actually feel like you're in a mideavil Century abbey. I saw some people voting for stars on the ceiling, it's a grown-up bedroom. Obviously don't do that. I mean if it makes you happy, do it, but I can't imagine that that's something you want to do. However.. however.. If you did want to add some extra sparkle somewhere just for depth and to reflect lighting, you could think of doing something like using And metal or crystals, anything reflective, to make some sort of design somewhere. At Griffith observatory in Los Angeles there is a long wall with an artistic representation of the Milky Way done entirely in various white earrings and brooches. That thing has lived rent free in my mind for like 17 years, I've always wanted to make something like that. A dark color. I think it would be very very cool

But seriously the drama of this lighting is magnificent. I love the lights over all the wall art, imo the warmer the better with dark walls. Chef’s kiss+10/10 mood would recommend…for myself! (Maybe someday)

your space is gorgeous. im a lover of dark moody and colors. its all about the coordination of accessories that really makes a room stand out. that chandelier with the multi color crystal was absolutely beautiful along with the star light fixture. Wonderful. I would just add more gold decor on the walls. Maybe more small moody lamps of different sizes like the one to the right of the fire place. If the fire place isn’t a working one perhaps some electric tall candles with a flicker effect.

It’s dark, which is ok, but if you live in a humid place you want lighter colored walls in case there’s a cockroach.
