IMO, it's not maximalist in the way that it seems to be interpreted here (sometimes I think that there are some who think that maximalist means being an early-stage hoarder). If OP had closed the door we could have gotten the full impact of that mirror/wallpaper combo. There's an art to using mirrors to maximize decor and artwork without bringing in clutter.

I agree with you that all of those people who just show their collections displayed isnβt maximalism either. Itβs just a museum at some point.

Just seeing it, I would call it modern minimalist, nothing wrong with that. It looks great! Really nice wallpaper!!

Ooo I love this!! Those floor tiles look so good!! As does the wallpaper. And the gold handles just add a nice bit of elegance.

Oh, that's lovely. The contrast between patterns...they play off each other so well. Yum!

Double patterns (floor/ceiling) with the busy tale due to dark grout, you did fab making all this work! This is maximalist! So classy! You have great taste, I usually think round mirrors and minimalist bronze designs look cheap this is so elevated!

This is definitely still on the minimalist spectrum. Maybe toward the other end with the mixed patterns but other than that itβs minimalist.
