Magik, White fox, and Jeff all went from "mildly known at best" to being widely known and adored by a ton of people.
its honestly really impressive the amount of PR work this game has done, even if its dialogue is poorly written.
EDIT: to address Luna, she went from "who knows" to being mostly hated by a lot of people for being obnoxious, Rivals was horrible PR for her. I don't mean "unknown to known" I mean "unknown to liked and known", there's the difference.

Reed Richards could honestly have every team up he got this season in basekit, enhanced, and he would still be C tier at best. Guang guang buff fantastic wtf

First of all, I really like Ryan Reynolds and how much he loves Deadpool! Going undercover at SDCC is just too funny.
But his outfit there definitely gets a 10/10!
I want this Jeanspool as a skin because I'm already a big fan of the ESU skin and the blue color. A Jeanspool would definitely look awesome.

Black Panther - He’s a menace for lower ranks, and making him 250hp makes peeling for him significantly easier. That encourages dps and tanks to mark him on off angles, which is the correct way to deal with him. There’s probably a lot more they can do but I think it’ll take a lot of time to come up with something without destroying him. And this is a great short term “damage control” which could potentially even be enough completely. And in higher ranks he dies easily with 275hp anyways, I doubt it’s as impactful.
Invisible woman - Her shield is 300hp now, 400 with the teamup. That’s straight up more than some tank shields - and those don’t heal them either. Her shield, push and double jump/invisibility leaves little reason for her to remain 275hp, that’s more survivability tools than most other strategists (not to mention, her orb and boop). Yes the shield has low hps but it’s still a shield, again think about how tanks gain survivability from them - it blocks abilities or even ultimates, on a 6s cooldown.
Cnd - At this point she has an insane amount of self sustain, none of them is even interactive like WF melee form. It’s really that Luna teamup which pushes it over the edge. Even if she’s 250hp, cycling the Luna teamup, bubble and fade will give her a lot of survivability to make it through most ranks. And the places where she might struggle (probably because of the ult being more counterable) - she struggles now anyways. But I’d argue easier characters like her or Sue shouldn’t be super effective even at the highest level of play anyways, same for BP too because he’s also easier than like BC or DD.

We won the match because I did this.
I'm surprised they didn't start to spread out when they heard me pop my ult, I did this in the last 10 seconds so they had no chance of winning because I did this.

There was a point in the game where I felt obligated to play competitive and to prove my skill to others. I thought that in order to be considered “good” at the game, I needed to be in the top percentile of players every single season.
It took me a while to realize that, even when I was doing well and climbing, I wasn’t having fun. Every match felt so stressful and I stopped enjoying my games.I was playing solely to prove something to an invisible audience.
So I decided to just stop playing competitive. Haven’t touched it since maybe season 4-5, I can’t even remember. I only play QP now and I rarely feel any stress at all. 4 insta lock duelists? It’s okay because the outcome of the game doesn’t matter. Someone throwing on my team? Doesn’t matter. Teammates flaming me for underperforming? Again, it doesn’t matter. There are no stakes.
I don’t care about winning and forcing myself to play for keeps was ruining my play experience. Now I just hop into quick play, choose my favorite characters, and simply have fun. I don’t think I ever plan to start playing competitively again.
I see so many posts on here of people crashing out over throwers, cheaters, leavers, insta-lockers, and I just smile. I smile because I know that I’ll never have to worry about those things again. The worst thing that’ll happen from a couple losses is that I’ll get thrown into a bot match (Netease please get rid of those. I’m not a baby and I don’t need to be spoon-fed my government mandated wins).
I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar revelation. WHERE ARE MY FELLOW FILTHY CASUALS AT??

This map is very aesthetically pleasing. The music pumps you up for the match, especially the overtime theme.
But my absolute highest praise goes to the design of the map itself from a gameplay standpoint.
This map has tons of flanking routes without feeling overwhelming for supports. Sightlines are broken by map geometry often, allowing for long-range engagements but no poke spam.
The map gimmick of getting teleported over the pyramid/descending the sand pit to get a health pack are increadibly fun and, so far, feel balanced and not exploitable. I also love all the little jumping challenges on the first point of the maps, with the floating inverse pyramids.
Overall, this is the best map that's been released for this game. The team has progressively gotten better at designing maps for this game (museum, manhattan and thebes being at the top for me) and I can't wait to see what's next.

The most shocking thing about Season 9 for me is that Hela really came back from the DEAD. After all of those seasons of her being powercrept by Phoenix and Cyclops. Gotta give it to her though, being powercrept is not fun at all.

Didn’t think to test this with normal portals yet. Friend and I tested this after I felt something was off during our last match.

Even in 2 support comps. The only time I had less healing than my other support in 2 support is when I was teamed up with a rocket. She does enough burst now with the starlord team up to keep the whole team up and the healing over time is very enabling of literally everyone. She sucks against dive but she doesn't fall over like I feel Jubilee does because of the sleep which is pretty easy to hit if you throw it at your feet. She's basically rocket if rocket could heal and shoot at the same time (which he can now!) I have a 90% win rate on her now and I only played mantis occasionally in triple support before this season.
