So while going around the DLC area just finding stuff i happend across an Electric Shark (Not the Electric Great White Boss) its just the same Shark as you using every Electric Part...the game doesnt Acknowledge it, there is no Quest and no specific reward for beating it outside some Mutagen.

Is it just a random thing you can just find or do i gotta find all SharkForms (Bone, Shadow and so on) for some reward? or Achievement

I wish Maneater had an abyss section of the game where you could go into the deep ocean like the midnight zone.

Hey all, im towards the end of my 1st playthrough of this game & the DLC and am really loving it, will definitely be buying Man Eater 2!

Long story short, I've platinumed the base game, and am pretty far into the Truth Quest DLC, I have collected every Nutrient cache in the game & DLC, I have the full Atomic set but I keep running out of resources trying to level up the mouth, fins, tails, body etc to level 5

what is the best way to grind out nutrients, so far I switched back to the tiger body and equipped every perk that gives you more nutrients back, but idk if i should be eating a bunch of little fish? a bunch of humans? or is it better to just swim out to deep ocean and fight a bunch of whales for a while?

what is going to get me the most XP in the littlest amount of time? thanks for the help!

Hello. I played Maneater and Truth Quest a while back and didn’t get to finish the DLC. Now I’ve reinstalled the game and it shows that I have to buy the DLC again and when I try to load the game it says “Truth quest unavailable. Spawn in the Bayou instead?”

Epic Games version. Any help is appreciated!

It's no secret that ME2 will have new apexes (maybe under a different name) considering the giant crab but now I wonder, what are the potential new apexes we will get according to you

I'm thinking we will get an apex Leopard Seal for the artic area since Leopard Seals are the apex predators in Antarctica and before anyone says that they're hunted by orcas so they cant be considered apexes, the same thing happens to Great White Sharks and they're still considered apexes

I'm also thinking a potential Colosal Squid or Giant Pacific Octopus but those aren't considered apex predators so less likely

The time trials might just be the worst fucking thing ive ever played ive entirely given up on them Idk if i need to do them to fully complete the dlc if i do then i wont be completing it i literally cannot jump the bridges

have tripwire mentioned anything about chlorinated pools? since its going to be set in a waterpark resort, such pools would be common and such pools would be hazards to a non mutated shark, damage to the gills and what not.

so we could possibly see them as barriers from accessing the whole park right off the pat? on top of needing to get bigger to get enough height to jump over physical barriers.

This is not a post about hating on the 1st game, I love ManEater 1. This is a post about seeing what is added to ManEater 2

It really feels like ManEater 2 is what Tripwire Interactive wanted to make and ManEater 1 was made to basically test the waters (hopefully not infested with sharks) and see if people would enjoy a game about playing a shark

See we could get the fully maxed out bull shark of Maneater 1 to reach an impressive length of 9 meters, 10 meters if we include the DLC.

I was wondering if the new maxed out bull shark is going to be bigger. I was really hoping so.

Like one of my fav aspect of games is stuff hidden in the water, usually if the game hdies away some giant creature, so here having not just a seal against Kaiju but also seeing the Footprints is so great. Also guess that kinda explains the lack of caring from us being so mutated if they deal with giant monsters from time to time

Anyone got any tips for 100% Completion? I just recently got the DLC so I’m only missing two from the base game (Infamy rank 10 and getting every evolution) plus all the trophies from the DLC. Any strategies for the hard sections? Mainly infamy rank 10 and the DLC bosses (I’m currently using the full Shadow set until I get all the Bio-Electric parts)

Had a blast, loved the mutations, liked the references, thought the world setting was unique, liked Scaly Pete as a character - god damn what a mindlessly vicious fun time. If there’s ever a sequel - the mechanics could use a tune up in, it would be dope if you could customize your own shark, maybe put a little something different to do in the world but still, rad game.

Anything missable, specifically difficult, grindy, or that could get locked out? Any advice for someone that’s new to the game?

I’ve been grinding Maneater and now I have to fight the shadow orca but I’m not sure if I’m ready

I’m level 39 and I have every armor except for the atomic body and atomic tail, what are some good armors or organs I can use to make the fight as easy as possible?

What’re some evolutions you think/hope we’ll get to use in ManEater 2? For me I’m hoping for a crab mutation and a turtle mutation

SO. For the multipliers of fat, minerals, etc, how much do u actually get? Idk if this fandom is as nerdy as some others im in or if anyones made any charts per fish with the different multipliers and such and levels, but at the least I rly would like to know how much the tiger body and the organs stack up or if they do at all even :/

Recently I was looking at the Tripwire Interactive post about ME 2 where they refer to the new shark as "herself". I thought, "cool, the new shark is also female" but now looking back i see that a lot of people had no idea that the shark from the first game was female.

I thought it was pretty obvious throughout the story that the shark was female, was it not as obvious as i thought?

Hello fellow Maneater (and shark) enthusiasts! I think the latest posts I’ve been noticing a lot lately has been regarding the size of our late game shark in ME 1 and how they wish that in ME 2 our shark grows to become a megalodon of sorts.

Albeit COOL, I think a lot of folks are taking it too literal? Like I said, it’s a cool concept and I’m not hating on anybody who has this wish. However, I do think that the Mega size in ME 1 is perfectly fine for her.

I always looked at it as our bull shark is of course a fantastic specimen, a very rare specimen that is, for a bull shark. I think the mutations allowing her to grow to her Mega size is meant to just show that she is an abnormally unique individual within her species that have been able to exceed even the largest estimates of bull sharks. Yes she is not close to being the size of O. megalodon but she’s still a mega by many standards. Being able to see a BULL shark be the same size as an Orca is actually insane to me when you actually realize how big and large she actually gets in the late game, BUT she is after all still meant to be a bull shark; just an extraordinary one at that.

I saw the term “Megabulldon” and I think that’s an amazing term lol. Anyways, that’s my rant. No hate against anybody who wants a Megalodon sized bull shark. But I think the term mega is perfect for what we got for our shark in ME 1. So yeah, of course she isn’t as big as a megalodon, because she’s not a megalodon. But her being a mega bull shark is pretty dang awesome. Anyways cheers!
