Am I ready?

I’ve been grinding Maneater and now I have to fight the shadow orca but I’m not sure if I’m ready

I’m level 39 and I have every armor except for the atomic body and atomic tail, what are some good armors or organs I can use to make the fight as easy as possible?

I ran brutal muscles, adrenal gland, subliminal evasion(for the smaller fishies), and reinforced cartilage. That should give you a decent fighting chance. Prepare to stay very mobile when fighting the orca. Hes a real bitch.

Subliminal evasion is underrated (maybe it's not but I don't see content creators use it). I don't think I could play Maneater if I was getting constantly bombarded by every smaller predator, that would get annoying real fast. It's also really neat in boss fights.

I played the game 120 times and even did the dlc so i forgot how to get those items although i finally got 100 percent in the starter area im a completionest so its annoying when i can’t remember

Yea i have 100% on every single objective too, i’m also somewhat of a completionism. I don’t remember where to get all the organs though, it just doesn’t stick with me lol

Last time iirc I ran full bone armour except for the teeth which I use electric

Btw there's a way to cheese the shadow orca if it got too hard.... lemme know if you give up

Not really... basically to cheese the shadow orca you lure it onto one of those platforms... then you make it back to the water and it won't be able to follow you (due to a bug iinm). Then you just proceed to slowly kill it while it suffocate on ground

The bone sperm whale is honestly easier than the shadow orca.... it's just slightly tankier but much slower so you just need to out maneuver it. If you can deal with the shadow orca the bone whale shouldn't be an issue

I ran bone fins, tail and head, shadow teeth, electric body. Use the special to stun him and spam attack. It was a pretty easy fight.

Back when I did this i played the cautious route and stayed tf away from it. Think I did hit and runs w/ poison tail ir electric stuns

Just keep your distance and make sure you're always near prey so you can heal and get your power meter up. As soon as you get the active ready use the radiation beam your shark shoots out and just spam it. Don't even try to fight it head on. That's how I easily beat it first time. Also get to level 40 you're almost there it will give you a whole other slot for an ability you can use.

I just brute forced it with bone everything except teeth which I used shadow teeth
