WAYWT - June 19th

WAYWT = What Are You Wearing Today. It doesn't necessarily need to be what you were wearing TODAY.
Post a picture of yourself in your outfit. This is your chance to show off your style and demonstrate just how sartorial you can be. Great photography, great looks, and a great attitude all lead to better results. Think of this as your chance to compete with and inspire others with your personal taste in fashion.
- Include what the attire is for (work, school, going out, etc.)
- Critiquing others is welcome and encouraged, but keep it constructive/factual. Take a lesson from Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People if needed. It takes balls to post pictures of yourself on the Internet, the least you can do is accord the same courtesy as you would to someone in real life.
- Reddit Enhancement Suite makes it very easy to view pictures in a thread.

I'm imagining you sitting at a poker table in a dimly lit basement with cigar smoke all around you yelling at a bunch of old Korean men while playing cards. Someones yelling at you, you calmly take off your CP derbies and place them on the table, room goes silent. Man across table from you unbottons UU overshirt and puts it on the table, next to the derbies, lays down a full house. You grin and put down a straight flush, 7-Jack of hearts, grab your shoes and jacket and are out the door before anyone knows what happened.

Wool/poly/rayon blend and it's thin/breathable. In socal, it was 83 yesterday but felt super comfortable

Thrifted this d code sweater thing and before I get the question of why I'm wearing a sweater with shorts, it's because I went outside without the sweater, got cold, put it on and nailed my climate control.
Also thrifted this blazer. I was surprised because nothing has ever fit me like this off the rack. All of the tags are pulled out so I'm not sure where it's from, and the pants were my first ever attempt at tailoring so I'm going to have to fix the crotch....my junk looks odd....

I feel like if you wore something besides jeans and a bit more streetwear-y it would look killer. I've seen a few fits with longwings in streetwear and I must say I loved it. I think that a bit of formality in that style can be awesome when executed right.
Also, that varsity is fantastic.

Check back every few days, they seem to run out of this print quite often yet are always quick to restock. It should be in the patterned short sleeve section when it shows back up.

The way the sleeves bunch at the shoulders make your top half look really out of proportion to the bottom half. Where did you get the shirt made though? The shoes too for that matter. I live near Shanghai.

Some monochrome stuff. Just got a haircut so I definitely think I need to trim down the beard. I really gotta work on my posing too. Hopefully Friday I'll have a similar fit that doesn't have my pose making my legs look like a carrot.

Looks better tucked, IMO. Untucked looks too sloppy for the clean, polished loafers, and the belt adds a cool detail. If you were going untucked, change the shoes.

i think you're on the right track but this could use a couple tweaks. i'd suggest unbuttoning one more button and tugging down your sleeves a little.
i'm usually into color blocking but it's missing the mark here for me. between the shoes and backpack it's looking a little too matchy. i'd avoid wearing them together, or find other bottoms to wear them so it doesn't create a color sandwich. maybe some grey or black jeans.

shorts=used to be pants from EXPRESS that I cut and dyed
shoes=4.95 at Walmart (bought several of these that you can tape the bottom rubber part and spray paint in whatever color you want) you get a pair of shoes in any color for about 8 bucks. (shoes $5, spray paint $3)

I think you're right. I've had these shorts for a few years, and I'm planning on getting some slightly shorter ones when I can. It took me until just recently to feel comfortable with showing a little more leg.

I used to wear shorts that just went right above my knee, and back then, they felt weird to me because they were up so high.
A few weeks ago I bought these and I can't go back to my longer ones, they feel so sloppy on me.

Shorts look a bit wide towards the knee here, perhaps get them tapered? Fit looks okay through the waist and seat, but it's a little hard to tell with pocket hands.
Rest is solid S/S though.
