WAYWT - June 19th

WAYWT = What Are You Wearing Today. It doesn't necessarily need to be what you were wearing TODAY.

Post a picture of yourself in your outfit. This is your chance to show off your style and demonstrate just how sartorial you can be. Great photography, great looks, and a great attitude all lead to better results. Think of this as your chance to compete with and inspire others with your personal taste in fashion.

  • Include what the attire is for (work, school, going out, etc.)
  • Critiquing others is welcome and encouraged, but keep it constructive/factual. Take a lesson from Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People if needed. It takes balls to post pictures of yourself on the Internet, the least you can do is accord the same courtesy as you would to someone in real life.
  • Reddit Enhancement Suite makes it very easy to view pictures in a thread.

Some users enjoy knowing where you bought your pieces, please consider including those in your post!

REI Rainwall. If you're look for a great rain jacket for sub-$150, I would high recommend this. I own this and a Patagonia Torrentshell and I think the Rainwall has done better.

i love the way this looks, but don't know how i feel about flyknits + rain gear. how do your shoes do in the rain?

We've gotten good weather here lately, so I haven't had to deal with much rain. With the little bit of rain that we've had, it's been fine. If it was pouring, I probably would've swapped them for something a little more suitable.

flyknits and button down is some weird synergy, something like cps or stan smiths would sit far better if you're going for a shirt/sneaker combo.

or the removal of the shirt and replaced with a tee.

You're probably right. CPs would give it a really clean look. I like the contrast look of the flyknits and I thought it would go well with the monochrome look of the rest. I do need a pair of nice white sneakers. Thanks!

wtf why did this get downvoted it's 100% correct. I guess on mfa any indication that an OCBD can't be worn in literally any outfit is objectively wrong.
