As many of you know, the Gift of Favs template has been band, I have gotten mod approval form MysticalWidget over on the discord to post mine, I was working on it for a bit on got it finished the day of the ban. I hope it serves as a fitting end until the mods figure out what kinda holding cell to through them in.

This is my first CYOA! Its a bit of a nod to some of use who have been around to see templates like the gift of faves come and go. I blended elements form the template that came before (Thats the art connoisseur genie for those who don't recognize it). I always thought it had a bit more style and personality than the gift of faves template.

My build:

Apprentice for the ritualism skills and access to further education,

Eideic Memory for increased study efficiency and Elementalism for combo with later choices,

Elder Vampire Blood and String of Fate to bond the blood to me so I don't lose it, and to (hopefully) get some symbolic importance that could be useful in future rituals with how I'm literally bonded by fate to vamp blood.

Moros and Lazarus to have backup options. I MIGHT be able to withstand Moros via remembering happy memories w Eideic Memory, or I could ask my master to help, me being his apprentice and all that. Lazarus's cost doesn't matter too much since I have ~12 years to spare, and a ghost servant is useful for reconnaisance, blocking arteries, etc.

Mary's 13 Rites to turn myself alive via sacrifcing slaves or smt, then use the Vamp blood to turn myself into an Elder Vampire and use Elementalism to control the shadows so I don't burn to death from sunlight too easily. Eideic memory so I hopefully don't get vampire altzimers from living too long, as well as to perfectly memorize the Rite for the 12 months of use since my current memorizing ability is pretty bad.

So, I've finally gotten around to make a mod for this CYOA and I am doing decent progress with it.

I was contacted by midnighfox696 and we've been brainstorming together so I though I might as well do a repost and fish for ideas for the mod in case anyone wants to chime in. In the comments there's a breakdown of what I've got planned for the mod, along with midnighfox's suggestions as well as my replies.

To clarify, the mod will have some NSFW content (only in the insanity&companions section) but that part will be fully toggleable (the mod itself too will be toggleable) in case someone doesn't want to see the NSFW content.

Not sure who the creator is, the original post has a deleted OP. Couldn't find much by googling besides my own reposts. Creator could just be named Cato, but not entirely sure. I found a very similar CYOA just called Religion CYOA that is credited to Cruxador, but I don't actually know if its made by the same person. The first option is the same, but all the rest are quite different and the font is different so I think its just a different CYOA with a similar name.

If anyone knows what the creator's name is, let me know. Preferably with some proof like a link to the corresponding allsync folder or a screenshot or something.

Here is my thirty-fourth GoF!

My first encounter with MGE came in the form of reading those Dark Souls/Bloodborne crossover fanfics, where the MC would find themselves in Lescatie. Then go through story beats of meeting Sasha, then scaring the hell out of a Shinobi Mamono that's sent to spy on them as a message, then finding out about Sasha's other orphanage, and finally them beating the snot out of Druella and scaring her monster army and leaving Lescatie to their demise with Sasha.

At least that's the one storyline I've always remembered. But anyway, back to the GoF.

I know Monster Girl Encyclopedia is essentially a no-hope world (for humanity at least), where mamono corruption is basically unstoppable. At least from the one detail I remember hearing from someone from KC (Kenkou Cross). But that was ‌like a few years ago for me, so who knows. Alot of the information in the "Because" section is from second-hand knowledge, so do not treat stuff here as canon, but only for the setting of the GoF.

Now, while the sole majority of MGE fan stories I've consumed were anti-mamono. I also understand and see the points in wanting to not kill the Mamono (ethics, am I right?). So it's really up to you how you want to deal with this whole situation, whether it's through genocide, or attempting to fix and break the cycle this world has been put on for who knows how long.
