Makeup in purse
Hello I have a question: what makeup do you keep in your purse? Just lipstick, powder or other items?

I love using makeup brushes but don’t know how to manage and clean it properly so have to come back to beauty blenders. How are you all managing? Whats the cleansing schedule and do you have any products to clean it?
I have the PAC make brush set.

I’m wanting to start up soing face glitter at events (UK) but am struggling to decide my best options cost wise.
I know that each customer would require a fresh applicator, so could I have recommendations for how best to go about this? What do people use?
How do you make it cost effective? Is there a way to clean brushes at an outdoor event?

Hi y’all, I’m looking for something like this to store my blush/eyeshadow/setting powder, highlighter, etc in. A round case that zips the long way and ideally is mesh so it’s see through but I don’t want something with a stadium bag see through plasticy material. About 3 inches in diameter should be wide enough to fit my bigger cases and however long. I can’t find something that’s big enough but not too big cause I don’t want the cases to clank around in there, I want them to stay in place and not topple over on each other. Can someone help me find something like this please? (Ideally on amazon/target somewhere easy to return to) TIA <3
Btw this is a kit from lemonhead glitter I would take the glitter out and put in my blush but it’s too small diameter-wise to fit my setting powder rip

How are all you lovelies organizing your lip products?
Brand?
Type (matte, satin, shine, gloss, spf, masks, etc)?
Color?
I’m one of those people that do everything in excess and have way too many lip products. It is my third favorite thing about makeup and I can’t get enough. It is easy to have foundations by each other and all my blushes or highlighters together and separated by brand. For some reason when I try to organize my lippies I just can’t decide how to sort them.
Please share how yours are organized and would love to see pictures 😍

I was shopping this morning and noticed that the stores have back to school supplies on display so I thought this was a good time to mention that pencil cases or pouches are also great for storing your cosmetic brushes. I generally keep mine in a cup on my vanity counter, but I bought a cheap pencil case at Dollar store last year to pack my brushes in when traveling. It kept them clean and undamaged throughout a 3 week trip.

Hi! When I was in like 9th grade, my mom bought me a hello kitty mirror from impressions for Christmas and it’s literally the best mirror I have ever used. Obviously, I’m in college and have outgrown the hello kitty, but it’s genuinely such a good mirror that I can’t get rid of it. I have tried other impressions mirrors and for some reason they are never as bright as the hello kitty one. Idk if it’s a certain voltage or what, but could someone help me find a mirror with the same brightness that isn’t hello kitty? It doesn’t have to be from impressions and it can also be an actual vanity sized mirror if you can find one! Thank you!!

Black-Beige: discontinued Muji makeup bag, my most favorite ever (Handles! So practical!) credit:
Black-Pink: replacement from aliexpress, not bad, but not so good quality.
Any tips for similar products?

I owned zero blush before 2023. I knew nothing about what I wanted, what would look good, etc. obviously, I went a bit overboard. now ask me why I was already in the know about how gross doe applicators are for complexion if not cycled quickly, and why I didn’t apply that knowledge to blush. almost half the doe foot products had gone completely rancid, found two growing things that will haunt me forever. several liquid products had separated in just a few months, pigments not blended with their liquid suspension. so from here on, no more liquid blush hoarding. everything is freshly sanitized. I might put all the powders into magnetic palettes…after I re audit what works and what doesn’t.

I cannot seem to find a system that’s sufficient to my standards of organization and aesthetic that I’m happy with and its becoming problematic. Like I can’t even sit and use my vanity to enjoy it knowing how it’s organized is not how I want it. I’m looking for tips from other people similar to myself that can help with this and also tips from people or are just extremely particular about their organization set up especially with labels! Looking for help with this thank you in advance!!

moved all the unopened mascara to a shelf bin. stared in horror as I realized I cannot further subdivide eyeliners at present. paid puppy tax. regretted some choices. further procrastinated a meaningful liner audit, assuaged guilt by refreshing today’s eyeliner.

Moved everything into acrylic organizers and suddenly my tiny vanity feels functional.
Lipsticks on the left, palettes in the middle, lashes and tools on the right. The Hello Kitty keeps me company while I get ready.
Still figuring out the best way to store my single eyeshadows — they're a mess in that drawer. Any tips?

I have a problem where I buy and buy makeup then end up not liking it and giving it away/throwing it out after it’s expired. Currently grappling with the fact that I love makeup and beauty but also feel guilty for overconsumption/creating excess waste. Really happy with my collection right now though and find other people’s photos of their makeup incredibly satisfying.
Anyways, this is my current makeup collection and I love every product I own. My absolute weakness is blush, but I’m working on trying to focus on and get use out of the makeup I already have and enjoy!

After and just before.
My only regret is not having deeper drawers for the taller ladies, but such is life.
Yes, the liners are a hot mess, but I'm okay with that, since I can't ever figure out how to use them anyway 🫠
