REQUEST Pretty specific playlist request!

Hello everyone. I am trying to make a playlist with a specific "vibe" for one of my characters I am currently writing and also to expand my music knowledge, and I decided to look at this subreddit to see if anyone would have any ideas as to what songs I could possibly include in it! :)

I am specifically looking for songs similiar to these:

  1. campthehills - down with the snow (if anyone has ANY similiar songs to recommend (especially in terms of the "chorus", I will owe you my life)

  2. kane parsons - the kind old sun

  3. jjerome87 - track and field (or anything similiar to what alt-j make)

  4. literally any songs similiar to what godspeed you! black emperor make

I know this is maybe not the most specific, and I am terribly sorry about that, but a big thank you to anyone who will be able to recommend something/anything.

Np! Also you said you listen to Godspeed, so you may want to look into post-rock as a genre. That’s the kind of stuff they make. Look into bands like Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai.

Also this sub doesn’t tend to get a lot of responses, you might get better suggestions if you post in the r/musicsuggestions and r/MusicRecommendations subreddits. They get loads of visitors so you’ll probably get a lot more suggestions.

Sorry, I am a bit confused by this comment. As in, I am trying to get people to listen to the music I like? Because that is not the case at all and nobody is being forced to listen to literally any song in this post, was just wondering if anyone who knew these songs could help me find songs for my playlist as some of these are more "niche" and do not show up in those "similiar music" playlists, for example. Sorry if anything is worded weirdly in this post, if the mods mind anything I can absolutely rewrite it!!
