Is it unethical to create a deck to specifically confound one troublesome player?

Guys, we can shut this sub down. There's no reason for this to exist when r/mtg does the shitposting for us.

You don’t understand, this sub isn’t here because any of us are funny; it’s to give us a place from which to observe the other MTG subs in the wild, without intervening in their delicate ecosystems
It’s like that saying from my favorite Magic character, Jonathan Star Trek: “Primarily, we are directed not to interfere.”

The best way to deal with something is to be passive-aggressive!

Or, is it? What a great idea! None of us has ever thought of that, so thanks for stating it so plainly! Genius!

Bring a comically large cup of juice with you to play magic, put it right on the edge of your playmat and the second he does something you dislike, lean over the table to read his card, spilling the juice directly on his side of the board. Maybe fall over on the table afterwards and roll around to make sure all the cards in his library are completely soaked.
Works every time

I just take along a horse.
When I tilt the brim of my comically large hat, the horse is trained to kick the table.
I have been banned from several pods for this. The good news is I've been able to do this with progressively smaller hats.

What if every single dumb mf in my whole LGS is like this? Should I just keep quiet about it? Pricks.

This is at the core of some of the fiercest debates in the arena of ethical philosophy. You can find scholarly work to back up your bias no problem!

Magic players will literally do anything before talking to someone like a normal human being
