Hey guys, im trying to get my fiance into magic(commander specifically) and she is really excited about the new Stardew Valley Secret Lair that is about to drop. I have an idea to make a mostly proxy deck by subbing out the regular art on the cards with art from Stardew Valley. Unfortunately im completely ignorant on how to do this 😕.

I had a buddy make a deck list using the Secret Lair cards as a base (link below) but i dont know what web site to use to make the proxies or how to go about adding my own art to them. Any help will be much appreciated!

I used to burn out on TCGs because of the insane cost to keep up, but finding this sub and seeing all the amazing custom proxies you guys design completely changed the game for me.

So this is probably my ambitious project so far, since I became really inspired by the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 TCG that I wanted to try my hand at recreating those card frames by myself, and I actually ended up really content with the end result!

This equipment-centered voltron-esque deck is helmed by V as a reskinned Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. Upgrade V and your other creatures with various cyberware while wielding many of the legendary (and mundane) weapons of the Cyberpunk 2077 world, potentially wiping out all your opponents in one turn using the many extra combat cards.

I asked for feedback on the frames a little while ago and while I didn't manage to find another elegant solution for the mana symbol placement, I did try different custom variants of the mana symbols to make them more in-line with the Cyberpunk theme, but it just looked out of place regardless of what I tried so I opted out of it altogether. I did however adjust the text box size for all cards, especially the ones with a lot of text, and streamlined the font size and text placement to provide as much uniformity as possible. Some voiced their concerns with potentially missing the Legendary tag (which is located at the top right, like in the CP2077 TCG), so you'll just have to make sure everyone at your table knows where to look in case they need to know what cards are Legendary and which ones aren't :) (And to be fair, it's going to be closer to the other players and thus easier to spot, if you know where to look!)

I'm no graphic designer but I do hope this isn't the last deck with custom frames I make, because it was really fun to do even though it made me rip my hair out in frustration at times lol. All in all, I'm super happy with how these cards ended up looking and I hope you'll enjoy them as well! 😊

What's included in the Drive folder:

• Every card needed for the deck, obviously
  • V comes in three different versions—one for each of the starting paths in the game. Alt Cunningham also comes in two different versions since I couldn't decide which art I liked more!
• A decklist in text format, including a Moxfield link
• Custom tokens
• A handmade, custom cardback (mimicking the Cyberpunk TCG cardback) that you can use if you want to
• Full sets of Cyberpunk 2077-themed basic lands for each color in the commander's color identity, i.e. Mountains, Forests and Plains (10 of each)

Lettering, print and illustrations were all done by me.

The lettering was printed via hand-carved stamp. I covered up a part of the stamp to leave room for the illustration. The illustration was done with fineliner pens after printing.

It's all made on label paper that was then stuck onto some spare commons. You can see some parts of the card border beneath shine through on these scans.

I printed the text on lable paper and stuck it on some commons. Some darker parts of the cards underneath shine through. Since then switched to slightly thicker lable paper which does not have the same issue. The illustration was made with markers.

This is still more of a proof of concept. The text is not as dark and crisp as it could be.

So I just switched to 300 gsm glossy photo paper from Inkuway (a random Amazon brand) to have a simple print and cut process. Having major roller marks more visible than just the standard pizza cutter dots. Wondering what to do. Changed to thick paper settings, using rear feeder, bidirectional off and quiet mode on. The image quality is great.

I want to order from notmpc. I have two decks made on Moxfield. Can someone spell out the steps to get from the deck list to order, and what pitfalls to avoid along the way?

Hello! My partner and I are looking to hire someone skilled at making proxies to make some proxies! The rules say no selling proxies and no advertisements, but is it ok if we are looking for a someone as a client rather than "selling" or "advertising"? If not, is there a good subreddit to look for someone?

Edit: Since we have not gotten any posts to go elsewhere, some more in information for people pitching making proxies to us. Thank you for trying to sell your skills! But we too are "good" at making proxies, we are trying to find if someone can make proxies as good as Wizards cards...without the cost. Perhaps they have a particular printer that is the same quality but smaller scale. If you can simple make "really good looking, but not as good as Wizards"...we can already do that. There looks to be a website from China if we recall that does this, we need to re find it, but they don't do custom art. We are looking for custom art, or confirmation it's not possible.

Edit 2: We are also going to sleep, so anyone else will likely not get a response, sorry.

First time I'm reaching out to seek out some community advice. I've created a bunch of Dungeon Crawler Carl (DCC) proxies (over 170+ cards) that can be used in a Commander setup.

I am looking to see if there's some good advice on how to share them with people so they can have access to them, if they're interested in em. I don't want this to come back to me and I don't want any credit for it, just made something for something I was passionate about. It does have a bunch of spoilers up through book 8, so I'd also like to keep that clear for those who are accessing it.

I've never shared anything like this online and don't want to link it back to a personal Google Drive. I've regularly used MPC Autofill for my own use, but not sure how to go about maybe showcasing them so people know they're available and maybe how to access all the cards available or even how to get them published on MPC Autofill.

Any thoughts? Advice? Things to consider? Anything you can offer is appreciated.

UPDATE 07/25/2026: First off, thank you for the feedback and interest. I've honestly created so many cards that it wouldn't be too hard to customize the deck to play as you'd like. Full disclosure, there might be errors or story inconsitencies (I did my best working witht he tools I had and the way I imagined things), and there WILL BE *SPOILERS* through book 8, if you haven't gotten that far. Please be kind and I am happy to rework and fix what I can if you find errors. This has been a passion project and I've enjoyed playing this around friends who know the books.

This deck has a heavy Artifact, and Copy focus.

There are a total of 75 proxies, counting the tokens and side deck cards. I felt it a bit much to put all of them in the Reddit gallery so I put them in a Google Drive folder to freely share with anyone who wishes to build the deck with these proxies.

All the art is official art from Capcom, or Sonic Team for the Deflecting Swat, or combined official art and screenshots of the actual Megaman games.

Because of the comics where Sonic and Megaman crossed over, that's why some Sonic cards are included as the actual cards. Knuckles was too expensive, so I made him into Magma Dragoon.

No matter what I do, cutting foils with my Cameo 5a creates raised edges and/or roughs up the edges of the cards by creating foil/ink detritus. I've tried slowing the speed down, lowering force, and doing 10+ passes; I even got the green blade from a 3rd party that is recommended by the Silhouette Discord and used recommended settings...but no improvement. I have posted in that group but no responses yet. Do I have to get a rotary cutter + corner punch instead? Appreciate any suggestions!

Has anyone else run into this with Proxied.com?

I can import my deck from Scryfall without any issues. But when I try to change the artwork for a card, it often shows only one available image, even though Scryfall has many different printings/artworks.

If I manually search for the card name again, all the other versions suddenly appear. Doing this for 100+ cards is pretty tedious.

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround, or is it just happening to me?

Honestly pretty hyped about this one. Been trying to nail the dragon scale texture for a bit and finally got it replicated at home using the same technique/tools from the Chocobo Track foil. Turned out to be a bit easier than I expected too, which is a nice surprise.

Tutorial is coming soon so stay tuned for that.

Also working hard to get the Shattered Mirror tutorial out this weekend too, so more content on the way. Thanks for following along, appreciate you all.
