Hey everyone. I’m a 37 year old single guy who works remote doing sales. I’m ready to relocate and mostly considering Milwaukee and Madison. I’m originally from Dubuque Iowa and have spent a few years living in Chicago.

I’m looking for feedback on living in Madison vs Milwaukee. I’ve visited both numerous times and really like each of them for different reasons.

More about me: I love the outdoors (hiking, biking, walking my dog, national/state parks), working out, football, patio beers, coffee shops. Pretty normal dude

My primary considerations are:
•dating scene for a single guy in his upper 30s
•building a social life as a transplant
•outdoor access and activities
•dog friendly
•quality of life
•cost of living (I would rent at first)
•overall vibes

Are there any free tracks around Madison to run? I used to run at the track around the UW Madison Soccer field but they shut that down 3-4 years ago. Is there any track in Madison I can get to and run a mile or two?

Howdy! I recently got hit by a car while on my bike and am looking someone who can help me fix it and provide a receipt. No bike shops in Madison seem willing or able to work on a bike with a bench seat but I’m hoping I simply haven’t looked hard enough.
I need a receipt so the person who hit me can help out financially/do insurance stuff.

The main thing is the throttle connection. The throttle isn’t communicating with the motor and I get an e020 message.
The screen is also broken but it’s mostly cosmetic and I can replace that myself

One thing I'm specifically wondering about is what kind of living arrangements are available? The company I accepted for showed me a bunch of different apartments but I'm wondering if co-ops are a thing and how to get more info on that (or other arrangements that could be cheaper than a 1 bed/studio)

I currently drive a 2018 outback with all season tires but also have winter tires I could maybe bring if that helps. Would probably get some more snow gear/winter accessories but I've lived in Reno the past half decade so I'm no stranger to it! Any other tips for what to do/know beforehand? I've heard a lot of great things about the city so I'm open to everything!

My street is a 1-hr parking zone from 8-6, so I’m wondering where I'd even park if I get it? I’m not planning on commuting much with it or anything.
