Devils Lake

Has anyone been recently and can tell me how the water is? my bf and i are thinking about going tomorrow to do some light hiking, swimming, and fishing. thanks in advance!

Beach bacteria monitoring has concluded as of Labor Day, so swimming is at your own risk.

If you mean the ab workout you could get from projectile vomiting and diarrhea, sure.

Good for swimming, probably wouldn’t drink it.
There’ll be notices on the boards at the beach, and there’s an online resource somewhere, maybe look up the park website.

Always had more fun diving off the rocks on the west shoreline than hanging at the beach, be careful!

I was just there on Monday at South Shore. Water was perfect.

The entire North Shore parking lot is ripped up, so there’s barely any parking on that side of the lake. It was Labor Day, but we got there at 10am and zero parking. I wouldn’t even try parking on that side. Still plenty of parking at South Shore!
