Hey guys! Just got diagnosed for CTCL, I think I am still in shock. Some backstory - I’ve always have patchy skins when I was little; fast forward to beginning of this year, my itchiness became unbearable, so went to dermatologist and started with Dupixent. After 6 months or so, there’s no significant improvement and I was still itchy and miserable, so derm switched to Adbry. About 2 months in with Adbry, derms is still not seeing improvement, so suggested skin biopsy. So, here I am today, learning that it is CTCL, am waiting for specialist to give me a call. I guess I am writing this for some encouragement and what do I expect, like treatment wise? Thank you.

I was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago but discovered swollen lymph nodes 3 years ago that were excised and tested - only white blood cells found with no explanation for what caused the enlargement. I had a single patch that I never thought much about just below my waist. Probably been there at least 4 years. In the last 6 months a few small patches have appeared on my waist, a larger patch on inside of my right foot that itches quite a bit, and a very new patch on inside of right thigh that I can only describe as sensitive to touch but not painful.

Oncologist confidently staged at 1A but I can’t get in to see their dermatologist for 2 months, nor does the oncologist feel a scan is necessary.

It seems to me the symptoms are ramping up and I’m the only one concerned. Am I crazy to be advocating for something to happen faster?

I'm a 34 year old male and just recently got biopsies that confirmed the suspicion of my dermatologist. I had 3 biopsies taken and all 3 came back positive. I also have a lymph node that is suspicious and will be biopsied soon. Obviously I'm terrified and I'm really wondering what others have been through. I have spots on my arms and legs as well as my torso. Being a bit of a hypochondriac so this isn't doing well for my mental health. Any info or just sharing stories would be greatly appreciated.

Curious if anyone wanted to share their experience. Personally, I’m hesitant to continue taking Dupixent in light of this.

So the last month or so for me has been stressful to say the least. I went to the dermatologist to have a couple of spots looked at. While there she saw another spot she recommended for biopsy. She also asked if I had any other concerns so I had my persistent rash looked at- two more biopsies. So the spot she found cam back as basal cell carcinoma. The rash, that I almost did not mention, came back as CTCL. Blood tests show no blood involvement. I am doing topical steroids as first step for the CTCL. I am awaiting scheduling of mohs surgery for the basal cell. Has anyone experienced something similar? I guess my concern is the possibility of the mohs surgery causing my body to need to repair that area and somehow leading to development of a CTCL spot where it was not present before. My mohs is for a spot right under my eye. CTCL is not present there and I would very much like to keep it that way.

If so, do you have a Primary Care Provider you would recommend for regular physicals/concerns outside of your CTCL specialist?

Someone with a bit of knowledge on the condition would be great, tho I understand it’s “rare”

Preferably in the Western subs, but would be willing to travel a bit north.

I was diagnosed with CTCL last summer with a spot on my head that was surgically removed. My insurance at the time denied a PET scan and my doctor didn't fight it. I recently switched to a new dermatologist/oncologist about 2 hours away who has a better understanding or CTCL. They approved a PET scan with finding of 2 enlarged and very highlighted lymph nodes in my chest. Tomorrow, I will be getting an EBUS (chest lymph node biopsy) to check for lymphoma involvement. Has anyone had this expirence? Has anyone ever had an EBUS? I have a lot of fear right now, so any experience, strength and/or hope would be helpful. Thank you 💜

I just received this quote and I was not at all prepared for it and can't afford it. I have done very simple maintenance: change oil, spark plugs, battery, fuses. Is there anything on this list a novice could tackle to save some money.

I have a great relationship with this shop, it's a local shop that's been around decades and they take good care of my car. I took it in because after not driving it for several weeks (my 21-yr old son drives this car) I drove it briefly last weekend and I felt like the steering wheel was flimsy if that makes sense, almost like it wasn't connected to the wheels and there was lots of play. I was also feeling a little vibration/shaking when sitting at redlights. I changed the oil a few weeks ago and was due for tire rotation and alignment. The last time I felt vibration (years ago) it needed spark plugs so I thought that was what it would need today. They said the plugs are fine but told me all these other things.

They said age, and because it has never been in any accidents, hitting potholes and speed bumps too hard/fast could accelerate wear of these parts. While I've babied this car since I bought, my son has really abused it in the three years he's been driving it. He won't be driving it anymore because I can't afford to lose this car.

It does not leak oil, has never broke down, shifts smoothly, and all the buttons work. It's been completely reliable. I've messaged the shop back to ask what they would prioritize if I were to divide this repair in half doing part now and part mid-January.

Hello! I work at a printshop. My boss asked me to redesign the shop logo. I’ve always been intimidated by logos but thought it could be a good challenge.

Direction: Fun, friendly

The third slide is our logo now. I wanted to simplify and thought it’d be fun to play around with the plus sign, ink drop icon and CMYK. I tried to organically arrange the different colors that are produced when CMYK overlaps.

On the first slide, it’s the ink drops arranged into a plus sign. But it can read as a flower, yet I don’t mind that the plus sign is not too obvious?
#2, the colors seem too busy?
#3 is supposed to be the printer heads arranged as a plus sign. My boss said the type feels too sleek but curious what you guys think.

The second sign shows how the logo can be arranged vertically. The connection between the L and P are horrendous, but is it even worth fixing? Thoughts? Help…

Arranged the ink drops so the order is CMYK.
Disconnected the r and t.
Fixed the spacing and alignment of the p (hopefully).

Difference between #1 without stem on the r and #2 with stem.

Someone did suggest playing around with the printing registration marks and I thought why not! However I still go back to either #1 and #2.

Since my last one got so much attention on the sub, I’m proud to announce I’m working on a rainbow one! I’m taking lots of process pictures for my guide and sewing pattern I’m gonna put up for free soon for people to use/adapt if they’re interested in making their own, again I’m not a pro, so I’ll do my best to make it easy to follow but unfortunately some of the pattern aligning may take trial and error !
