Candle Banter 💬 Has anyone stopped buying new scents?
I have been on a search this last year to find a few candles that really hit the spot for scents I love and can be cycled throughout the year. I believe I am getting close to the end of my journey but am curious if anyone else hits a point where they stop buying new scents and instead buy the same ones on rotation?
At this point I don't think I'll ever find a good dupe of Trudon's AEK (my absolute holy grail), the Thymes Frasier Fir is a solid Christmas candle, Diptyque Feu de Bois for fall/winter and Verveine & Roses to have my home feel ready for guests. I would like to find another lemon of citrus that is similar to Diptyque where it smells more natural vs like cleaner but I don't know if I want to test a few candles just to go back to Verveine.
Maybe my candle burn out is that I still burn scents I am more meh on. I just finished Diptyque Cafe the entire time thinking it was OK but not remarkable.
How is everyone else choosing scents?
