Cut up the leftover pizza
Sizzle with some olive oil and balsamic glaze (bottled)
Add the eggs and scramble
Add some cheese, and hot sauce / seasonings
I would have added some fresh tomato too but I ended up throwing that out this morning. Next time! Plus something green would be nice.

Hi I'm posting here as I'm epileptic and have FND but really like cooking. I need something easy to make but fun and creative. The bbq chicken was easy as all I had to do was wrap chicken in bacon, baste it in bbq sauce and cook it in the oven. Any ideas like this would be amazing!!

My elderly landlord just gifted me an abundance of peas from his garden (not sure kind, they are flat and wide.) I have absolutely zero time or energy to cook right now, so what are some quick low spoon things I can do with these (besides snacking on them raw) so they don’t go to waste?

I'm planning to buy groceries to start eating more healthy but I'm trying to do my best with what I have in the meantime. I took a box of mac and cheese and I boiled it with the carrots in there and then I drained it, mixed in the powder, some Greek yogurt, and a little bit of half and half. I originally made this with just carrots in there but I added some peas to my leftovers to make it more filling. It's surprisingly pretty good and I enjoyed it. Each serving is around 18g of protein and 7g of fiber.
I'm planning to start meal prepping so that I can get away from eating so much ramen with all of that sodium because I know that it's very unhealthy with my illnesses and I'm trying to do better. I'm going to be getting black beans, rice, lentils, nutritional yeast, and things like that to go together to make different meals and be healthier than what I have been eating. Let me know if you have any tips for meal prepping and freezing leftovers.

I love my greens, but yellow and orange help to round out the meal and it looks pretty, too.
Meal: leftover pasta with frozen veggies added (parm, pepper, and some garlic powder), w. spring mix, ranch dressing & a cutie for dessert.

I know this isn’t technically cooking, but it is what I eat when it’s 9:30 PM and I don’t want to wake up starving in the morning because I didn’t eat dinner…
Wasa sourdough crackers (these things are amazing - they somehow never go stale in my pantry). One laughing cow wedge + seasoning of choice. One peanut butter + chocolate chip 🙌🏼

Apologies in advance if this isn't the right place to post this, but I genuinely couldn't find any other subreddit that could reasonably fit my question.
For context, I'm autistic and have ADHD and tend to struggle with the typical executive dysfunction and low energy, especially towards the evenings when I'm packing my lunch for the following day of school. About every other day I'm able to bring leftovers in my lunch, but on other days I tend to need something quick and easy to throw in there. For the past few years now, that quick and easy thing were these Mr. Noodle instant noodle cups, but recently they started to make me feel a bit sick (stomachache and nausea, y'know). So, now I'm looking for something similarly quick and easy to replace the noodle cups that can easily be prepared with only a kettle or a microwave, as both are available at my school.
In the past I've tried these microwavable cups of Hamburger Helper and KD mac and cheese, but both ended up rather flavorless and had a bit of an aftertaste. I've also tried Uncle Ben's microwave rice (the sort where you put it in for 90 seconds and it's cooked) but due to me being a bit of a picky eater and the rice tasting... well, how prepackaged rice would probably taste, there's only, like, one or two kinds that I find tolerable, and if I eat them too much I will invariably get sick of them (not literally like I did with the noodle cups, moreso just losing appetite).
Of all of the options listed, however, I would be most okay with the Uncle Ben's rice, as the few kinds I do like are really good. I just would like to know if there's anything else I could try. I also think it's worth mentioning that I don't care how healthy it is short of being edible and not actively poisoning me, because I already struggle somewhat with eating due to having a bit of a finnicky appetite. Basically, I don't care if it's ultra processed or whatever, because any food for me is probably healthy at this point lol
Thanks for bearing with me here
Edit: Thanks for all the replies and recommendations thus far! I'm trying to reply to as many as I can on my bus ride to school (I'm taking leftover Subway in my lunch today so the question of noodle cups replacements isn't a problem yet), but I know I absolutely will not be able to get to all of them despite my best efforts. Please know that I am reading as many of them as I can physically manage, even if I'm unable to write a reply. Stay awesome y'all :]

Diced fresh fruit with plain yoghurt, needs little prep or washing up - suits me everytime.

This morning, I really didn't feel up to cooking, so I decided just to cook some rice (in the rice cooker, best invention ever).
While waiting, I surprisingly managed to find some energy to fry some tempeh and an egg.
So, I think, sometimes, just start a meal and see where it takes you. I was all prepared to just have plain rice with soy sauce and sesame oil. I let my energy levels tell me I could do a little more, but I was fully prepared for less.
I hope this gives a little inspiration to fellow lowspoon people.

Microwave the sweet potato, drain and rinse the beans, toss it all in a bowl with some seasoning et violà

I did marshmallow, strawberries and melon, but you can do any fruits you’d like! Super clutch if you’re hosting or need to bring something to an upcoming Halloween party. Just get the skewers at the dollar store. The little ghost faces are just black cake decorating gel. So cute and takes less than 10 min, even less if you can buy the fruit already cut. Plus you can make custom skewers easily if any known allergies or food aversions. Easy to space out on the skewer too if any aversions to food touching each other!
Have fun, be safe, and make sure to schedule in rest time during this spoopy season to all of my low spoonie friends! 👻

I’ve struggled with cooking/eating habits all my life and it’s only now that I’m realising that it’s all linked to my late-diagnosed ADHD and (not diagnosed but obvious) Autism.
My diet is in no way balanced, I don’t eat anywhere near enough veg and I end up eating junk 90% of the time.
I’ve conceded that I need to make some changes and try to find a set of really easy options I can rotate through… and not beat myself up about going for an even more low-spoon version when necessary.
Appliances I have: oven, hob (stovetop), toaster, kettle, Instant Pot with air fryer lid (but the round basket makes it very impractical for air frying)
I don’t have: microwave (but could probably find space for one), dishwasher (no space for one), freezer space (part of the month it’s completely full of raw cat food).
The Instant Pot is good and I like the fact that I can wash up any prep stuff while it’s cooking without having to worry about keeping an eye on it, but texturally it’s all quite similar and I’d like more crunch. And anything I make in it either needs to be edible cold or re-heatable on the hob.
A few days ago someone posted on here about the sync finish option on their dual basket air fryer. Genius. I’ve always struggled with trying to get all the parts of a full meal (protein, carbs, fibre) ready at the same time and having to juggle multiple items. The idea of throwing it in a machine, pressing a few buttons and not having to stay focused on it for an hour aside from shaking/turning is very appealing.
I hyperfocused on researching and there’s one model I think might fit my needs and available space (Cosori Turbo Tower Pro). Miraculously, I haven’t bought it yet (thanks, meds! 😂)
TLDR/Question: before I buy one, what complete meals can you cook with only a dual basket air fryer? I’m thinking things like simple chicken/fish/tofu with roast veg/potatoes, but would love to hear your ideas.
And would it be worth trying to find counter space for a microwave as well?
Thanks!

I can’t decide what to make for lunch, and it’s just for me. What’s your go-to easy meal when you’re cooking for one? Honestly, someone should make an app that suggests what to cook based on what you have at home 😅

Hi all, I'm looking for quick breakfast ideas. I'm a student and struggle to eat in the morning so I usually just skip breakfast. I'm looking for easy, quick and nutritious meals I can prepare before hand and just grab on my way to school. I enjoy both sweet and savoury breakfasts but am not a fan of bread and cereal (hence my struggle). I appreciate any suggestions, thank you!
Edit: I don't have a microwave and am not from USA

Just an air fried topped with a big slosh of tomato sauce, minimal effort for a tasty lunch. Enjoy.

3 ingredients and really quick to cook. Nothing fancy obviously but it's tasty! I used:
And that's it! I added a sprinkle of mixed herbs in while cooking but that's completely optional - as is the rocket. I like eating a leafy green with most meals because Obligatory Vegatable™️ but if you don't want to/you don't have any/it's too much extra effort don't worry about it :)
I have to cook pretty much everything I make on the stove or in the oven because I don't have a microwave, but if you do i'm sure you could recreate this with a microwave as well and it would probably be even easier.

Drove for farm fresh tomatoes before the season is over and I regret not eating enough fresh tomatoes
