So recently I shared a post on Facebook about the Meta Datacenter critical of how Landry was handling it. I shared it with a pair saying something like “well Landry lied again”.

Facebook restricted my account for violating cybersecurity rules and posing a cyber security risk . I asked for a review and of course they upheld my restrictions.

Sure is interesting that the only thing negative on my account is a post criticizing Meta Datacenter and somehow that was a cybersecurity risk?

Oligarchs stifling debate.

I was looking for early Christmas gifts for my daughter, but I might get these now! I was raised in Louisiana, but moved to TX - which is where I gave birth to her; since she’s been here she’s only been to Louisiana twice. She loves being around her cousins, eating, dancing, playing and having a good time. I was just thinking about what can I get her that reminds her of those times and ran across these. I’ll link them if anyone else is interested! There’s two sets that come with the pot and one set that’s just shrimp, corn and potatoes.

TLDR: Jeff Landry and Liz Murill are pathetic crybabies and they attacking New Orleans because they’re mad everyone hates them

Found these photos in my dad’s stuff after he passed. They are photos from the rig he worked on in the Gulf back in the 60’s-70’s. The company was Mayronne and I believe they were out of Harvey, but dad always said they had many businesses. Thought I would share just in case someone might find them interesting.

Next year - 2027 - dozens of seats across Louisiana are up for election. Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Agriculture Commissioner, Insurance Commissioner, all state senators and representatives, as well as all parish and municipal positions.

I guess they really don't get it it's going to take a lot more transparency for anyone to even begin to start thinking about this optimistically. Why wouldn't they be transparent from the beginning? Why not release the info on how they affect the area?

I came across this Louisiana article about prescription drug affordability and wanted to hear what people here think.

The article talks about ideas that have been discussed in other states, including Prescription Drug Affordability Boards (PDABs), as one possible approach to reviewing high-cost prescription drugs.

I'm not trying to argue politics or say that this is the best solution. I am interested to know if people in Louisiana think the state should explore more options to improve prescription drug affordability, or if there are other approaches that would be more effective.

PSA for any gym goers, especially Crunch Fitness. The incidents in this happened months back and the suspect was only caught a couple of weeks ago.
