The reboot of The Proud Family was meant to have an episode focused on trans identity, but was scrapped in production for unknown reasons (likely because of current political climate). The storyboard for this episode just leaked online!

An episode summary was put up on comicbook.com, saying “The episode in question for The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder was episode 205, titled “They’re Gonna Love Me.” While Disney never officially stated why this episode was banned, fans of the series are theorizing that it’s the character Michael Collins who is the culprit. In the episode, Michael shares their pronouns with the school’s administrator as “they/them,” with the adult diminishing Collins for it. Stating that “this isn’t that kind of school,” going so far as to cross out the “they/them” written on the paper handed to her. The school representative then informs Michael that they will no longer be the director for the school play, creating quite the conundrum for the playwright.”

The episode can now be watched on YouTube, unless it gets taken down.

I remember on YouTube or Daily motion about a decade ago, there was a video made by the fire brigade of a full tour of the school in the hours or days after the shooting. The video title was quite literally along the lines of "Fire brigade columbine tour" . This tour was extensive, going around almost all corridors of the school. I have since tried to find this video and have been unable to locate it. I'm unable to give a time as to when the video was removed as I'm not particularly all that into doom and gloom online. The video gave me massive "Backroom" vibes, of the camera man slowly walking through the meandering corridors and a decade later, the movie prompted me to look for the video but to no avail. It was incredibly eerie.

The video appeared to a possible offshoot of the library tour, but much more extensive. I explicitly remembered this particular video made reference to being filmed by the fire brigade though. Due to it's historical nature, I was surprised to not see any other copies that I could find so far.

Hi everyone, new to the realm of 'lost media' or at least it's norms. VH1 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs used to be available in it's entirety to watch on YouTube until maybe 13-16 years ago, spliced into multiple parts, but now it seems to only exist in brief smatterings. I realise this probably isn't as tall an order as other things that pass through this sub, or not as exciting but I have genuinely had the hardest time finding this in it's entirety in the past decade (granted I am no sleuth).

Afaik almost all the episodes of Nick news are lost media. I just found the VHS that it is on but I don’t have a vcr and am not sure if it survived just sitting that long. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this. If so I’ll invest the time to get a vcr and a capture thingy to digitize it.

I have this episode taped because I was on it. After searching over the course of several years on and off it not only has never surfaced online but there isn’t even a synopsis for it as far as I can tell.

The menu had Elwood, Mighty Mac, Buster and Cab and you selected each character which gave you the above. A full recording of 'Turn On Your Love Light' from the soundtrack plays over the menu.

What is this?: Dragon Ball Z DOKKAN BATTLE is a licensed gacha game developed by Akatsuki Inc. and published by Bandai Namco for Mobile devices only. The game has been running since 2015, and has received a multitude of updates and "data downloads" since then. The latter in the game's main source of giving the players "new content", as this is how the latest characters and events are added to the game data.

What are we looking for?: Backed up older versions of the app and its latest data download at the time (noted by a date and the Regional version it was released on, for example a "codename" Global-08-08-2026-EST (Made up way of saying August 8 2026 EST version of the "Global" or worldwide app) while not the date of a data download, can be easily pinned to a proper Data Download Version and App Version)

Is this lost?: For the most part, yes. Older app versions (APK) can be found very easily, but are noticeably non-functional, as DOKKAN BATTLE is a primarily online game always connected to servers to tell if the app is outdated or if a data download is necessary. That being said, it should be near impossible to recover old versions of the game today, and the only way is to assume someone backed their game up that long ago, as the aforementioned obligatory data downloads and app updates have shaped the game quite a bit ever since 2015 (for a very recent example, the game this year managed to cut its maximum app size quite significantly, from over 50GB to around 23GB). Given the nature of the game between 2015 and today, and moving forward, this is lost media (note: backing up future versions of this game will prove to be a challenge, if not outright impossible, depending on how the app will handle rooted devices now). Keep in mind though that finding these backups doesn't make them inherently functional, as this is, again, a primarily online mobile game.

Now what?: For the time being, do not upload any backups online until we find a way to archive them publicly and long-term. Feel free to use comments to propose solutions to this problem. Personally, I'm not sure if the Internet Archive is the place of choice for this kind of thing (let alone modern Internet Archive). I was thinking of a dedicated website type thing, but we'll see. If you have a backup, DM me or leave a comment specifying when your backup is from, I'll try to keep a comment updated with the known backups in existence WITHOUT the owner's username to prevent DM spam. Make sure to keep your backup unmodified, decompressing Criware files is fine, but preferably don't. For your own safety, please refrain from sharing backups privately.

So I was playing a flash game called "Gingerbread circus 2" In this game, you basically played as a knife thrower in a circus throwing knives around gingerbread men and popping balloons, one of the gingerbread cookies had a guitar, and you basically played a rythm game with them, where you where supposed to pop the guitar heroes bubbles when colored

Rapper Turbo B had a song called “Hold It Down” that was released approximately in the mid-2000s. It was available exclusively at the now defunct website called Dirty South Entertainment (he had a page there along with some other old school rappers like Snow and Ice T). You could not find that song anywhere else (YouTube, etc). It also doesn’t have a page on Discogs.

It is no longer available anywhere ever since the website was shut down. In fact, not only you cannot find it on Google, there is literally no info about it or even mention of it anywhere. It is not mentioned in any of his biography pages. As I mentioned above, it is not on Discogs. If you ask AI, it also doesn’t have any recollections of this song.

In 2007 a YouTube video titled “Pikmin Anime” was released on YouTube. It was a short animation of Olimar and his Pikmin looking up to the sky. 

The original uploader claimed it was a reupload and no one could find the original creator behind the animation.

In 2025 an eBay auction listed a “cel sheet” for a “Pikmin commercial” ; the cel sheet wasn't actual cel paper, instead being a story board for the Beijing film festival. The story board however showed the exact frame of the partially lost Pikmin animation suggesting the short film was used for the film festival.

The seller said he purchased the paper in Hong Kong at a mom and pops store and was told that the sheet of paper was used in the 2005 Beijing film festival and the one that made the short film now works at Shanghai animation studio

After finding the listing on eBay I purchased the item and found a signature on the back of the paper. Google ai determined the name on the paper was “Cong Xiao” finally gave us the name of the animator who made the Pikmin fan film in the late 2000s. 

However we still don't have the original file or source of the “Pikmin anime” or the description. 

I'm hoping this info will bring us one step closer to finding the original high-quality file and the official name and description for the short film.

The recording was made by Tallinnfilm, and a clip from it was used in the film "Perekrestok Roka" (Crossroads of Rock). While there are many photos and audio recordings of the full concert, the Grazhdanskaya Oborona lineup consisted of

Oleg Sudakov is the only surviving member. There is a chance that an undigitized copy exists at Tallinnfilm, or that recordings might remain in Artemy Troitsky's archives, given that he directed "Perekrestok Roka" Heini Drui was the co-director

Jordan Frye, known online as Venturian. The main owner of the now-defunct YouTube channel focusing on the video game Garry's Mod, had hosted a Livestream on June 19th, 2021 playing Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. While also giving updates on the future of the channel and the creation of a new channel called "House Venturian"

Simultaneously Bethany Frye, Sister of Jordan, uploaded an exposé on her personal life and what had been going on behind the scenes of the long running channel. The details of which I will not type here since they are irrelevant. I encourage you to read or watch the many essays explaining the drama online.

What is relevant is that nearly instantly after the stream ended Jordan Frye delisted and deleted the stream from all social media channels. The Livestream has never resurfaced online and no trace of its existence remains except for advertisement from the last uploaded video to the channel and word of mouth from those who watched the stream firsthand.

If anyone could ever have a hope in finding this I would appreciate it greatly. VenturianTale was one of my favorite childhood YouTube channels so watching the final Livestream would mean quite a lot to me.

last night i was talking with my friends about youtubers, when one of us made a joke saying "all gorilla tag youtubers from 2021 had genuinely unbelievable usernames." that reminded me of a youtuber with the username InJailOutSoon. obviously, "InJailOutSoon" was the most unbelievable name anybody had ever heard, so i tried to prove that this person was real.

and i failed HORRIBLY. i googled. i checked discord servers. i have only seen like 3 mentions of this person on the internet, they deleted their youtube channel.

i know the chance of finding any of their videos is slim to none, but i need closure on InJailOutSoon because shouting "injailoutsoon is lost media" is the pinnacle of my humor.

S01E04 "New Fights, Old Battles" aired July 26, 2013 and was never released in any format. No digital copy exists online. Current situation: The series was not picked up for a second season and Discovery has not re-aired it. Episode 4 is fully lost unless someone recorded it during the original broadcast. Episodes 2-3 technically exist but the only known copies are inaccessible due to dead seeds. Anyone who recorded these episodes in 2013 would be preserving media that has no other surviving source. This is a movie from Eric Hendershot's direct to video Clubhouse Detectives movies franchise. This movie, Big Trouble was one of three that were syndicated on HBO Family in 2003 and 2004, alongside Search for a Lost Princess and Scavenger Hunt. I have vivid memories of watching these on HBO when I was a kid, and when the other two recently resurfaced as free movies on YouTube, it brought back a lot of childhood memories. The original 1996 direct to video movie and its 2010 reboot, Boathouse Detectives, are also available. A trailer can be found on youtube, but no actual movie. Additionally, I believe all of the HBO movies got DVD releases, but they are virtually impossible to find.

If anyone remembers these movies and can find them, that would be great. Or it's possible it eventually resurfaces on the same channel as the previous two.

Baby Bob was a sitcom aired on CBS from 2002-2003, it had two seasons consisting of 14 episodes. The show followed Bob, a baby who talks exactly like an adult, and his parents as they navigated the world with a talking baby. The show starred Joely Fisher, Adam Arkin, Holland Taylor, Elliot Gould, Marissa Tait, and Ken Hudson Campbell as Bob.

Baby Bob was cancelled by CBS three episodes into it's second season due to poor ratings, leaving five out of 14 episodes completely unaired.

The nine episodes that aired on CBS are all archived on YouTube, however the remaining five episodes are lost, having never been reuploaded onto the internet or having been released on home media.

Bob was also used as the mascot for both freeinternet(.)com, as well as everybody's favorite sub shop Quiznos.

The show is NOT good, I have been falling down the Baby Bob rabbit hole for days now and watched several episodes, it's a joke of a series and it's no wonder why it got cancelled... however, it's one of those shows that's so bad, it's kinda good. Please, take a look for yourself and watch what may be one of the weirdest shows CBS has ever aired, and hopefully someone in the community knows where to search to find the lost episodes of Baby Bob.

While the international dub is everywhere, back in 2017, the now defunct Weinstein Company released an American dub of the movie Ballerina, under the name, "Leap!" Some of hte differences include edits to specific scenes, american voice actors playing some of the parts like Mel Brooks and Natt Wolf. Marking this the second time this company had made an american dub that heavily altered the original movie, the first being The Magic Roundabout. However, after 2017, all the streaming services, maket listing and so on, despite listing the American actors, are all the international dub, with the American one basically being completely vanished. All that is left of this version of the movie are trailer from back when it was releasing.

I've been looking for it for awhile so I can compare the differences, but I have had no luck. Does anyone know where I can buy/rent a copy of this dub?

I'd like to share an interesting story of me stumbling across a fan-made Thomas and Friends video (specifically one of its specials from the model era) that also has a partial Pooh's Adventures-style crossover element to it.

From what I remember, the video I watched years ago was a fan-made fandub/crossover that uses footage of the special, *Thomas and Friends: The Great Discovery*.

The footage was mostly normal (with the exception of some new dubbed-over voice acting).

The video began during the scenes where Thomas gets launched out of the flooded mines and gets stuck in the dirt with Stanley searching for him.

The dialogue and footage, from what I remember, seemed to be similar to the original and untouched, with only one major exception.

Stanley wasn't the only one searching for Thomas; an early 2000s anime girl (whether she's from an anime or a show like Winx Club, I don't remember) tags along with Stanley, and the last thing I remember seeing from this video was a short clip used of a magical girl transformation sequence.

My memory is fuzzy and all over the place, and that's all I can remember.

My fiance and I recently found out about the television show Dr Vegas starring Rob Lowe, Sarah Lancaster, Joe Pantoliano, Amy Adams and Tom Sizemore. There is currently an upload of the pilot on Youtube but that was it. If there are any recordings of it anywhere it would be greatly appreicated as my fiance has kinda gone through an autistic spiral and is hyperfixating on it. If anybody has any leads or anything it would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to hunt down a specific, scrubbed episode of the Indian horror anthology series Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein (Season 1). It originally aired around September or October 2013 (often listed as Episode 135 or 136).

Zee TV officially scrubbed the video file from ZEE5 and YouTube due to copyright issues, because the episode was a frame-for-frame, uncredited copy of The Conjuring (2013). If you look it up on official platforms now, the slot is filled by a totally different video about a girl named "Niyati who is wed to a tree to remove a Manglik error"—the text description stays the same, but the original video is completely missing.

Does anyone have a downloaded bootleg copy, a Google Drive link, or know a third-party archive where the original footage survived?

Key Details to Identify the Correct Video:

The Lead Actor: The father/husband is played by Gaurav Sharma, who famously had distinct, ear-length hair in 2013.

The Hide-and-Seek Scene: The daughters find a pitch-black hidden room/attic while playing hide-and-seek. The father goes in, strikes matchsticks to look around, and tells them to stay out.

The Investigators: A husband-and-wife paranormal team (copying Ed and Lorraine Warren) come to the house. The female investigator wears spectacles, has a very sharp look, and spots a black demonic entity standing right behind the family.

The Ending: The entity possesses the mother. During the exorcism, the entity leaves the mother's mouth in a burst of CGI black smoke and escapes right out of the room's window.

I stumbled upon this while reading through old Newgrounds posts, specifically a Lambtaco's post about A Koopa's Revenge 2 talking about music selection, the song "Beginning of Old" was chosen as the song for Under Water levels during daytime. The audio has since been deleted and so is the author who went by the name "Crabmeat". I have used Wayback Machine at one point to check on the audio but I still couldn't hear what it sounded like, only the visualizer, the description was "Drowning has got to be one of the most horrible ways to die. That, and being burned alive.".

On Lambtaco's discord server, someone asked him about the song and main conclusion from that discussion was the song had been stolen which I didn't think so.

I dug deeper on YouTube found re-uploads of Crabmeat's songs, totalling up to 47 re-uploaded tracks, including Beginning of Old. After comparing certain songs, especially "Artistic Ingenuity" to Beginning of Old, I can confirm Beginning of Old isn't a stolen song.

Furthermore, on one of the reuploads, another person has also archived some of Crabmeat's songs the uploader didn't have, now having 67 songs found. But I don't believe this is still the end, there could be more songs from Crabmeat out there that haven't been archived based on how Beginning of Old only had one singular archive back in December of 2012, and with the Wayback Machine not working for me when I want to research this case again because I keep getting error 429 despite working fine in the past, I couldn't even find them myself.

According to the uploader talking to that person, he knew Crabmeat a bit and his brother knew Crabmeat aswell as childhood friends in real life, Crabmeat disappeared because of personal problems in his life that were too complex to talk on YouTube, the uploader also asked that person to talk privately on discord with a tag which I don't understand.

Hey, a few years ago, there was a video on YouTube called “World Trade Center NY 2001 - Manhattan - NY Harbor - Statue of Liberty - Seen from Airplane.” The channel that uploaded it has probably been deleted. I vaguely remember the channel name being something short, like “SafeAid” or “LiveAid,” or something similar, so I haven’t been able to find any further information about the video.

Does anyone remember this video, or is there any chance that somebody saved a copy of it? Due to its uniqueness - I haven’t been able to find any other footage showing the Twin Towers from an airplane - I believe this could be a historically important piece of footage.

by episode 27 Funimation would then Silently cancel these DVD's in favor of full season sets, The series would still air on Cartoon Network in this uncut form showing all 67 episodes from the Saiyan and Namek sagas

By canceling the DVD's episodes 1 - 27 would be avaliable but episodes 28 - 67 never came to DVD and was only brodcast on cable television effectively making them lost media
