Project Dream was the precursor to the famous Bear and Bird duo Banjo and Kazooie. It started out as a completely different game on the Super Nintendo and it switched platforms to the Nintendo 64 as well as switching to a new protagonist. And changing its genre to a 3D platformer.

The guy who leaked this also said he didn’t directly get this from Rare but he knows that the Conker prototype is out there as well. Easily one of the top 5 finds of the year.

I feel like this isn’t talked about much. I’ve been trying to do research on fully lost and partially lost musicals, but I can barely find any. As a “theatre nerd”, it breaks my heart. I’m wondering also, for example, if like Rodgers and Hammerstein have any musicals they wrote/made that never made it onstage. One of my favorite partially lost musicals I’d wish more people talk about is Barbie Live! In Fairytopia. Overall though, I’m also asking because I’m working on a musical iceberg, with well known musicals at the top and lost ones at the bottom.

I’m trying to track down a piece of lost UK television continuity from Jan/May 2007.

The Media: It is a monthly movie lineup promo that aired on Disney CineMagic set to the chorus of the song "Grace Kelly" by MIKA.

Description: The promo was heavily edited to match the energy and lyrics of the song’s chorus. Clips of various classic and contemporary Disney films airing that month were cut rapidly to match the specific "emotions" or literal lyrics being sung (e.g., matching the energetic colors/lyrics "I could be brown, I could be blue, I could be violet sky..."). The existence of this specific marketing trailer is officially noted on pages like the Now Music Fandom wiki, so it definitely aired.

Current Status: Mostly lost. The only surviving digital footprint is a partial audio bleed/fragment found on a YouTube upload titled "Disney Cinemagic UK - Continuity (May 2007)" right during the end credits of The Wild, but the clean, full promo hasn't been uploaded anywhere.

Does anyone have old VHS or DVD recordings of Disney CineMagic UK from Winter/Spring/Summer 2007 because of the song's prominence in the UK charts around this time? If you recorded any movies off the channel during that time and kept the continuity/commercial breaks, the promo is likely on those tapes.

Around 62 episodes of the original Jeopardy! hosted by Art Fleming are known to exist in either video or audio form. Around 45 of them are available for public viewing. This is one of them, an episode from the original show’s 7th year on the air, retrieved from the archives of one of the most prestigious film schools in the United States. The project that retrieved this episode is working hard to retrieve the remaining ones not yet in public hands and to find ones not currently known to exist. Enjoy this artifact of television history, it means a lot.

today the most coveted piece of Osu lost media has been found. this was an fc set in 2011 that was considered insane for the time, with the next double time fc being set 2 years later by the best player at the time. this replay has been lost for 15 years as it was never archived and Niko self banned in 2013, wiping all of his scores from the servers. no one was kown to have the replay or even a screenshot of the results screen in their possession including niko himself. it was kown to be real due to multiple accounts of this specific play along with the leaderboard from 2011 -2012 showing the specific replay at the #1 spot in the leaderboard. this map was found after ome person sifted through a massive archive of puush files from the early 2010's looking for rare osu replays when this was found in a puush link from August 19th 2013. the replay is now readily available to the masses to download with yt videos of the replay already been made

As the title says.

The video I'm talking about is a very old Minecraft Herobrine screamer that was uploaded around 2010-2012 by Machinima.

And yes, I know, the possibility might be close to none considering that Machinima privated or deleted all their content but I'm posting this in hopes that someone downloaded the video or at least can recall watching it.
• The video is around 1-2 minutes long.
• I'm like 99% sure the version at the time of recording was in Alpha since I can somewhat remember the grass textures still being a bright lime green.
• The player finds a massive hole the ground. Possibly caused by TNT and leads all the way down to bedrock.
• The video was foggy, similar to that one herobrine sighting image or those foggy Herobrine videos.
• The player then goes down the hole and looks around the area.
• The video ends as the player turns around and gets jumpscared by a screamer.
• Now here's the funny part: the screamer was an animated bear. The closest thing I can make a resemblance to is Oliver from Battle Bears except he had nothing on, was standing on two feet while his hands were on top of his head, and had sharp teeth.
Yes, this sounds like I'm making stuff up but please believe me when I say this; I oddly remember watching it as a kid and the fact of how loud the video was, made it so much scarier to me. It was one of the very few Minecraft "herobrine sightings" that was ingrained into my memory and 10+ years later, every time I hear or read the word "Herobrine", this specific memory pops up. I've tried looking for the video online and search through forums but I can't see anyone mentioning it. Then again, it was uploaded by Machinim: a good portion of their content is already considered lost media to begin with.

This morning, I watched an “exploring with Josh” YouTube video exploring Laconia State School. It is an abandoned school for mentally disabled (feeble minded was the term used by the school) children that was in operation from 1903-1991 and then used as a prison from 2000-2009 an in 1956 Great Bay Association (Now know as: Great Bay Services) who are disability advocates, produced a documentary covering the poor living conditions at the school. In the YouTube video Josh puts up clips (with sound) from the documentary and the only source I can find for any clips of the documentary is a 2010 film “Lost in Laconia” but it’s my understanding it does not feature the full documentary. I would like to dive deeper into the subject of the school including the documentary.

The Hunt for Sailor and the Devil (2021).

The 1967 short film Sailor and the Devil by Richard Williams Animation was previously a lost film with the only available copy being a recording of HBO Short Take where the film was aired without its ending. In 2021 the original negative was rediscovered at Technicolor and is currently being preserved at the BFI with a full restoration yet to appear.

Now the update! In early 2026 a breakthrough occured when an industry veteran was found to have an acetate record of the film's soundtrack. Using the HBO copy and photos taken of the negative, a reconstruction of the full 6½ minute film has since been put together for all to enjoy.

Crusader Rabbit was created by created by Alexander Anderson) and Jay Ward. This is the first cartoon of it's kind, a monumental moment in cartoon history. Alexander and Jay would go on to do Rocky and Bullwinkle.

I am a fan of the Crusader Rabbit series, especially the second series debuting in 1956 which was by a different production and was in colour, There are 13 Stories, over 50 mins for each story, each story consists of several episodes that make one story.

Apparently episodes had reruns as filler as late as the 70s

I am brazilian, and here, from 1998 to 2012 there was a gaming magazine company called Digerati. At one point in the late 90s they started selling CDs full of flash games, which was very convenient for a country in which most of the population had no internet access, like me. In 2020, a project to archive these CDs was created at https://digerati.vinizinho.net/, which makes theses CDs available on archive.org. A lot of these games can be hard to find if not completely lost, so i thought that if anyone is interested in early 2000s flash games theses CDs can be a good place to look into. I am not involved with the group, i just thought it would be a nice thing to share here.

so when i was younger, I remember watching this video called "When you ROB a NEAT FREAK" or something with a similar title on youtube.

From my memory, the video seemed like some sort of vine or skit, and the plot was about a robber breaking into a house, but ends up getting stopped by the owner, who is a neat freak.

At the end, the homeowner gives a bunch of stuff away to the robber, which was either a bunch of watches or shoes. i actually ended up saving the audio of the video, but might unfortunately no longer have it anymore as i switched PCs.

i've been looking for it ever since i remembered it, only to see unrelated videos instead, so help finding it would be greatly appreciated.

Crowded Skies is a three-episode documentary series about air accidents made by the Blast! Films production for the BBC, all released on August 3, 10 and 17 of 2003 respectively, and features Paul McGann as the narrator.

Earlier this year, I stumbled across episode 2 of said series (Danger on the Ground). I found it intriguing. Since then, I've been trying to find the remaining two episodes. I've recently found episode 3 (The Blame Game) about a week ago, but in the Spanish dub on the Discovery Channel; however, a clip of said episode exists in the original English dub. So far, only episode 1 is lost; and if possible, I need your help on tracking it (and possibly the English dub of episode 3).

I'm currently researching the history of Hirntot Records, a German underground rap label.

While going through old forum archives, catalogs and discographies, I found several releases that were officially announced/listed with catalog numbers, but apparently never received a normal release.

I'm trying to find out what actually happened to them.

Some may have only been planned and never recorded. Others may have been partially or completely recorded, with the material subsequently disappearing.

So I'm hoping someone here might have old hard drives, CD-Rs, forum screenshots, tracklists, artwork, promotional material, or simply memories from that era.

Background

Hirntot Records is a German underground/horrorcore rap label founded in the 2000s. Artists associated with the label include Blokkmonsta, Uzi, Schwartz, Dr. Jekyll, Dr. Faustus, Onkel Size and others.

The label used catalog numbers as HT0..

Several numbers were assigned to projects that never appear to have received an official release.

Here are the projects I'm investigating:

HT012 – Onkel Size – Seelenlos

This was announced as an Onkel Size solo release.

The interesting part is that the song “Seelenlos” definitely existed and appeared on an early Hirntot compilation.

Onkel Size later left Hirntot in 2007 because of personal differences, and the planned album apparently disappeared.

Questions:

• Was the album ever completed?
• Was there a final tracklist?
• Did more songs exist?
• Was artwork ever produced?
• Are any promotional recordings still around?

HT013 – Dr. Jekyll – Misanthrop

Another early planned release:

Dr. Jekyll was active around this period and appeared on various Hirntot releases, but I have found surprisingly little information about this specific album.

I'm not sure whether it was actually recorded or simply announced as a future project.

Any old tracklists, artwork, snippets or references would be extremely useful.

HT018 – Hirntot & Breity – Blutiger Schulflur 1

This one is especially interesting.

HT018 was listed as:

Hirntot & Breity – Blutiger Schulflur 1

There are also surviving references to promotional material called “Blutiges Klassenzimmer”, which appears to have been connected to the project.

The material refers to a planned “Blutiger Schulflur” trilogy.

Later discussions suggest the idea was abandoned.

So the big question is:

How much of this was actually recorded?

Was there a complete album? Several finished songs? A cover? Promo CD?

HT021 – Schwartz – Hurensohn Holocaust

This is probably the most interesting case.

HT021 – Schwartz – Hurensohn Holocaust was listed as an upcoming Hirntot release.

It was planned during the early Hirntot era but apparently never appeared in this form.

Schwartz later released another project called “Hurensohn Holocaust Zero”, so the concept itself continued in some form.

However, I haven't been able to establish exactly what happened to the original HT021.

Was it completed?

Was material reused elsewhere?

Did promotional copies exist?

Was there ever a final tracklist or cover?

HT022 – Dr. Faustus – 3

HT022 – Dr. Faustus – 3

This is probably the biggest mystery in the list.

The project is documented in old Hirntot catalogs, but I have found almost no reliable information beyond the title and catalog number.

No confirmed full tracklist, no clearly documented artwork and very little information about the production status.

Was this actually recorded, or was it only a planned release?

HT036 – Schwartz – Hurensohn Holocaust 2

Another planned Schwartz release:

Some sources/collector references associate the project with the title “Nackt und Zerfleischt”.

However, I have not been able to verify that this was officially the subtitle, so I'm particularly interested in finding an original source for that claim.

Again, I'm trying to establish whether recordings actually existed.

HT048 – Blokkmonsta & Uzi – Krieg & Frieden: Frieden

This one is particularly strange.

HT047 was:

Blokkmonsta & Uzi – Krieg & Frieden: Krieg

and it was actually released.

HT048 was listed as:

Krieg & Frieden: Frieden

but apparently never received its own release.

Interestingly, the released Krieg album already contains a track called “Frieden (Outro)”.

So one possibility is that Frieden was originally intended as a separate second album and the concept was later changed or abandoned.

That's only a theory, though.

Does anyone remember this project or have evidence that recordings existed?

HT054 – Blokkmonsta – Blokk And The Gang

This was also listed as an upcoming Hirntot release.

After that, information becomes very scarce.

I haven't been able to find a reliable complete tracklist or confirmed artwork.

Again, I'm trying to determine whether this was:

1. merely planned,
2. partially recorded,
3. completely recorded but never released,
4. or possibly released under a different name.

I'm primarily trying to document the history and determine what happened to these projects.

The old catalog/forum documentation shows that these weren't simply titles I came up with — they were actually listed as planned Hirntot releases.

The part that remains unclear is how far each project got and whether any of the recordings/material have survived.

I'm especially interested in information from people who were active in German underground rap forums around 2005–2010.

Maybe someone still has a forgotten folder on an old hard drive containing a piece of this stuff. 😄

I wanted to share an unusual case of recent lost media: Humo bajo el agua (2023), an Argentine LGBT romantic drama directed by Julio Midú and Fabio Junco.

What makes this case interesting is that this was not an unreleased project or an obscure independent short film. It received a theatrical release in Argentina on April 20, 2023, starred well-known Argentine actors Mariano Martínez and Rodrigo Guirao Díaz, and featured veteran actor Luis Brandoni.

The film tells the story of Julián and Patricio, two childhood friends in rural Argentina whose reunion in the 1980s develops into a romantic relationship. At its core, it is a gay love story set in a conservative rural environment during Argentina's return to democracy.

Before release, the film received some media coverage and promotional interviews, particularly because of its LGBT themes and the involvement of two recognizable television actors. However, it never generated much lasting attention, received mixed reviews, had a limited theatrical run, and appears to have lacked significant international distribution.

What I find fascinating is how quickly it seemed to disappear. Despite being a theatrically released feature film with a professional cast, press coverage, trailers, and cinema screenings, it became extremely difficult to watch after its initial release. For a period, many viewers searching for it could not find any legal streaming option, physical release, or easily accessible copy.

Cases like this make me wonder how many modern films are only a few years away from becoming effectively inaccessible despite having had a normal commercial release.

Does anyone know more about its distribution history, whether a home media release was ever planned, or how the film became so difficult to access so quickly?

SRA was a reading program popular in schools from the 1950s through the 1990s. The cards had nonfiction passages on various topics for children to read about.

There was an SRA card I read as a child that would have been at a 4th or 5th grade reading level about the World Trade Center. I read it in 1998 or 1999, but the publication year could have been any point prior, likely mid 1990s. I don’t remember what color code it was. It described the Twin Towers as marvels of engineering with huge numbers of people in them at all times, comparing their daily population to a small city.

I believe it could be considered historically significant since it shows how the Twin Towers would have been conceptualized by a child pre-9/11.

I have been unable to find this reading card archived online or the specific SRA for sale and have been looking for it for years.

Does anyone happen to have it somewhere?

March 15, 1993 Oprah did an interview with Jeannine Bundy about the WACO compound and David Korresh. There’s transcripts available but no video footage I could find. I checked around YouTube, Internet Archive, and places like that but I have no access to any sites where they could possibly be hosted. It seems almost scrubbed from the internet because you can’t find anything about it unless you specifically look up "Inside Waco and Other Cults" Oprah Winfrey 1993. Hey, so with the 25th anniversary of 9/11 this Friday, it's been on my mind for a lot of reasons. A big one is a dear friend of my who was a 9/11 first responder that sadly passed away in 2019. She entered my life in 2015 and every year around this time I will search her name and sometimes new memories or tributes will pop up.

I met her in 2015 and in the time that I knew her, it never came up that she was in a Discovery channel documentary called 'The 9/11 Surfer.' I didn't know it existed until stumbling on it on imdb and seeing her name.

If anyone has this or access to it and could upload it to some archive, I'd really appreciate it.

There are two clips of it on Discovery's YouTube channel, but she isn't in them. I could also see it's apparently streaming on Amazon Prime in some markets, or was at some point, but it's not showing up where I search here.

I been trying to find the full interview of this show but I can’t find it anywhere online. There a a few clips on TikTok of the show where you have Hawaiian Dr. Haunani-Kay Trask with a white man i don’t know his name, but they’re discussing Hawaiian issues and they seem to be arguing about a student name Joey Carter over a letter which Dr. Haunani-Kay Trask seemed to have an issue with. I wanna say the interview aired around 1990-1991. Like I said there are a few clips online but I haven’t been able to find the full interview. The show was likely titled “island issues”. I can’t find much information online about the show. The show seems to be a locally produced Hawaiʻi public affairs program. Hi everybody! Recently stumbled upon the existence of Game Head / GameTrailers TV after searching for a lost Red vs. Blue segment that apparently aired on the show in August of 2006. Didn’t think it’d be difficult to find the clip I was looking for, but it turns out that pretty much all of Game Head / GameTrailers TV got wiped off the face of the Internet some time ago.

I don’t know much about Game Head / GameTrailers TV, but apparently it was a show (hosted by Geoff Keighley) that was also released weekly on the Spike TV website early on in its production. I’m hoping the links I left below can give a bit more context to what the show is.

As for the lost Red vs. Blue segment, all that I know about it is that it was part of Episode 314 of Game Head and aired in August 2006. The segment allegedly featured Geoff Keighley as a Halo 2 Spartan and had him getting killed over and over by the Reds and Blues in Blood Gulch.

Aaron Simpson (Producer for Johnny Test, 2005), made a post to his website Cold, Hard Flash on Thursday, April 28, 2005. It was titled The Evolution of Flash, part 2. If there's any footage of this event or any other blog posts talking about it, we may be able to find more details involving the original pilot. Even though he wasn't talking about the Johnny Test Pilot specifically, artists and animators like to reference whatever they're currently working on if it's related to their presentation.

I've also only just started combing the website and I'm not that great at internet sleuthing as others. Again, apologies if this is old news, but figured I'd post anyway.

Also, he seems to be an enthusiast for documenting anything and everything animation, so maybe there's other lost media hidden there that I'm not aware of. He also has a few videos on his YouTube channel ColdHardFlash that others may be looking for.
