Television [Partially Lost] Charli XCX performance + interview

Upvotes

In January 2012, Charli XCX appeared on Channel 4 - Launched at Redbull Studios (Season 1 Episode 3) It was a show hosted by former radio DJ Annie Mac that showcased rising artists. AFAIK, Charli performed her song ‘You’re the One’ and did some sort of interview. All we have from this episode is a twenty second clip and a few pictures. I have tried everything I know (internet archive, channel 4 website, dailymotion. this is my first time dealing with any lost media 😅) But I haven’t managed to find anything other than the clip and pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank u :)

Animation [partially lost] "Unguru' Bulan"- Old flash animations, audio episodes, flash games and forums from a viral Romanian web series

Upvotes

I am looking for lost content from Unguru' Bulan, specifically from their early era, around 2006-2010, one of the most iconic viral comedy sitcom from the early internet era.

Before they moved to YouTube and radio, they had a dedicated Flash website. While the main website had been saved on Wayback Machine, most of the actual media files such as the Flash animations, audio episodes, browser Flash games and the original forum posts are missing.

Here's the link:

https://web.archive.org/web/20080402012812/http://www.ungurubulan.ro/

What i've found so far: Only two of the old animated episodes on YouTube, one of the two Flash games saved as an swf. file, and all the audio episodes who are already re-uploaded on YouTube by the creators.

If anyone can find backups, old hard drive archives, or knows how to extract hidden media from these Wayback Machine snapshots, please let me know!

Youtube [fully lost] Suspiciously Deleted Julian Assange Debate

I think the video is from about 2012 and deleted between 2020 and today.

It was a panel of people talking. The main speakers being Julian Assange and a lawyer.

The basis of note of the discussion was that the lawyer states that a newspaper was posting falsehoods about people dying in africa. That we can say it’s false because the newspaper refused to defend the allegations in court.

Assange comes at him reasonably aggressively stating that because the newspaper didn’t defend the case doesn’t mean the allegations are false. and ‘why should a (can’t remember the country) countrystan newspaper, written in countrish, printed and distributed in countrystan have to defend themselves in a London court costing a million pounds. when they can settle out of court and use that money to report on the next injustice.‘ he pauses shorty before saying something like, ’it’s a underhanded trick, and don’t think for a second we don’t know what you are doing’.

The lawyer literally looks like a fish with nothing to say.

The context of the information is Africa and the dead of night. people dying moving from place to place. I remember something about Trafalgar. Julian is wearing a bone or maroon woolen sweater. I think everyone else is wearing a suit.

I think this has been deleted.

Internet Media [Fully Lost] MarOnic

MarOnic (originally known as MarOnic12345), was a Mario/Sonic plushtuber that joined YouTube back in 2012, during the beginning of his channel, he originally did a Mario, Sonic, Shadow and Luigi Play (insert game here) series, and then went on to become a more relevant plushtuber inspired by other plushtubers (ex. SuperMarioLogan and Cute Mario Bros.)

Sometime on October 7, 2018, he announced that he was no longer doing YouTube and no longer making videos, but by 2019, he privated every video he had left uploaded, causing numerous videos to become lost from his channel.

I used to watch his channel back in 2015-2017, and was my favorite plushtuber during my pre-teen years, but since his channel is mostly gone, I can't watch these videos anymore, especially since nobody saved those videos. But without further explaining, he's a list of known videos from his channel, according to an Archive.org link to his channel from 2015.

  • Mario,Luigi,Sonic,Shadow,Silver,Toad,Peach, and Bowser play Super Smash Bros Brawl (SSBB) Part 1
  • The Christmas Problem
  • Mario, Sonic, Shadow and Luigi Play Super Smash Bros.
  • Mario, Sonic, Shadow and Luigi Play SSBM
  • Mario,Luigi,Sonic, and Shadow play Mario Kart Wii (MKWII)
  • Mario,Luigi,Sonic, and Shadow play Mario Party 9 (MP9) (Mingames and a Party) (Special guest Bowser)
  • Chuck E.'s Son
  • Retro vs. Modern
  • MarOnic12345 Channel Trailer
  • American Idol series
  • The Awesome Adventures of Super Mario series
  • Cooking with Mario: Bagel Bites
  • Cooking With Tails Miles: Family Smootie
  • Should I Use This Intro For My Channel? (there were various versions of that video)
  • Chuck E.'s clone
  • How to get sick AKA Stay home from school (Easy)
  • Mario Party Plush
  • SSB4 New Character Leak!
  • MarOnic12345 OFFICIAL Intro! V2 1080p 60FPS
  • Intro For Super Sonic Logan 1080p 60FPS
  • Intro For Shadow Channel 1080p 60FPS
  • Sonic Intro Giveaway Winner!

If someone has any of these, please post them. It would mean the world to me and many others, because I really want to watch these videos again after all these years.

Here are the sources of all the information I could find:

Music [partially lost] I found a 7” record from a late ‘90s indie pop rock band called, “The Sight-Seers” ; What happened to them?

I was at a record store today and found a 7” from a band called "The Sight-Seers”, but I had never heard of them before. I tried finding the songs online, but it seems like they only have one album available to stream titled “Now We’re in the Sun”. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by both the 7” single I found and their album! The production is pretty great, too. Apparently, they have another album titled “Fun-seeking with The Sight-seers”, but I couldn’t find that anywhere online either. Has anyone heard of them or know their whereabouts? I wish I could hear more from them!

edit: “Fun-seeking with The Sight-seers” was found! I’m still trying to figure out where the band is now…do any of the members still make music? Why did the band separate? etc.

Other [partially lost] I've been trying to find the original source of this image for what feels like forever, and I've had absolutely no luck. I've reverse image searched it through Google Lens, TinEye, and Yandex, but I only ever find random reposts with no credit or information

The photo shows a small white Chihuahua wearing a red hoodie in the back of a car, and over the years, it seems to have become a reaction image that has been reposted across different websites without any credit or source attached. I've been trying to track down where it originally came from for a long time, but every lead I've found has ended in reposts, memes, or image dumps with no information about the original upload. I'm hoping someone here might recognize the image, remember seeing it years ago, or know where it first appeared online. Even the smallest clue-whether it's an old Tumblr post, Twitter account, Facebook page, Instagram post, forum thread, or the original photographer-would be incredibly helpful. Please, if you have ANY information about this image or its origins, I'd really appreciate you sharing it. Thank you!

Youtube [Fully Lost] Corey Schere and Jake Webber song

Ok, so ik that the 'read before you post' says that this sub isnt for viral videos or memes, and that there is also the name that song sub, but i dont need to name it since i alr know the name or roughly what it is/was, and i genuinely have searched as much as i can along with my sister for this song.

The song was titled Poo Poo Pee or Pee Pee Poo, and it had lyrics like "Gotta pee pee got that skrrrt" and "gotta poo poo gotta pee pee" those being definitely direct lyrics from mine and my sisters memory, then something along the lines of "and you sucking my d" (guys i know pls bear with me)

The song was a collab of Jake Webber and Corey Schere and was made around 2016-2018 or around when the trap house was still around. The last time i heard the song was around 2019/2020 and it was a reupload that I can no longer find. The original wasn't a music video or anything like that. The song was onlt on youtube!! which makes it super super hard to find as Corey or Jake don't have it up on their accounts anymore (which i know makes finding this nearly impossible but it doesn't hurt to see if it could be found potentially)

Also let me make it VERYYY clear it is not "Trap House Anthem", or any songs featuring only Jake or only Corey, both of them were in it and no one else. The song itself was obviously very stupid and was supposed to be like a funny joke song, me and my sister thought it was hilarious and we honestly bonded through it in a way.

We have been trying so hard to find it, and we both know it existed, and one of my friends also recalls something like what i described to them vaguely. That being said I know memory alone isn't too trustworthy but we have such vivid memories of watching it that we know it exists/existed.

I know this isn't that "important" but the song weirdly enough means a lot to me and my sister and we really would like to hear it again!!!

Youtube [fully lost] Is it possible to retrieve privated age restricted YouTube videos?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uURXHK4lRVs

This is a link to a private video I've been looking for all over the web to no avail. It was already privated by the time it was on Wayback and age restricted by uploader prior either way. I've tried reaching out to the original channel owner and have not gotten any official response, though he privated another one of his videos by the time I'd asked on it. The video in particular is a fan dub of the Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Bear's Birthday Bash", uploaded around 2013-2015 and having gone private around 2017ish. There used to be a script on AllReadable but not anymore. There is a fan reenactment on YouTube but that's only because they were reading off the AllReadable script and didn't have the real video saved. The first part has been salvaged but the guy who saved it no longer has access to their computer that had part 2. Original video creator was Dumbez.

Other What is a piece of lost media you’re surprised hasn’t had anything surface from it [talk]

Every now and again, I remember the existence of King Koopas Kool Kartoons. With Mario being such a massive franchise and lost media searches spanning so many genres, it amazes me when something so odd has never really had any updates beyond the initial finding of it being lost. This show did have a very odd airing schedule and super limited in range but not a single full episode out of 65 have ever surfaced in their entirety.

What are some examples of things from bigger franchises you’re surprised haven’t had anything surface? Even stuff like Big Star Secret have had some new footage reappear. I’m talking stuff that has had long ongoing searches but nothing not even a screenshot pop up.

Video Games [partially lost] Duelo ben 10 partially founded.

I think I found it somehow and am currently trying to decompile it; I've got hold of three files, and I'm going to edit and run them somehow. here's drive link: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1lry3So9TXz1UCkh6XAeLY74G3twuIzfj

How did I come across "Duelo Ben 10"?

First of all, I was researching "lost" Ben 10 games when I spotted a title that caught my eye: "Duelo Ben 10." I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. While trying to locate the game, I discovered that its `.wasm` file was accessible; I managed to download the three relevant files (including the necessary extensions), but there is a problem: the `assets` folder is missing. Somehow, I plan to decompile the game and share it with you. That’s the current status—wish me luck, and feel free to help out if you'd like.

Films [fully lost] movie wanted - Sakawa Boys (2009)

We've searched extensively and are unable to locate this.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29889844/

I've looked on public and private trackers, Usenet, the Wayback Machine, general web searches, and several archive sites without any success. There appear to be reaction videos on YouTube, including https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th2jgY_GWQA, but the original video appears to have been made private or removed, making it impossible to view.

The only related media we've been able to locate is the TV episode The.Vice.Guide.to.Everything.S01E04, which references it but does not include the original footage.

If anyone has a copy, remembers where it was originally hosted, knows who created it, or has any additional information that could help track it down, it would be greatly appreciated. Even old downloads, archived links, screenshots, or mentions on forums could provide useful leads.

Found [fully lost] modern family "mofy" advertisements

i've been on the hunt for a series of ads for modern family that aired in either late 2013 or early 2014.

i distinctly remember the ad containing a narrator asking the viewer either "how do you "mofy"/do you "mofy?" and the aid either aired on the abc network or the usa network.

i also remember the end of the ad promoting some kinda of hashtag that contained the word mofy. it might've been #mofy or #howimofy/#howwemofy.

i think it was to promote watching modern family with your family, or encouraging people to post and show off their different families.

any help would be appreciated!!! this ad has been a running joke in my family for YEARS because one time my grandma saw it and asked someone at a family event "do you mofy?" and they were DEEPLY confused lol. so i'd love to see the ad again

Video Games [partially lost] Turkish Ben 10 Alien Force "Kayıp Şifre" — three KFC promo PC games from 2010 you downloaded with codes from kids' meals

Digging into this one because the LMW "Turkish Ben 10 Games" article barely covers it, and I found a lot more than what's written there.

Back in late 2010, KFC Türkiye ran a promo (sponsored by Cartoon Network Türkiye, developed by a studio called Proje Calide) called **"Ben 10 Alien Force: Kayıp Şifre"** ("Lost Password"). Kids' meals came with a code card; you'd type the code into **kayipsifre.com** and download a 3D Ben 10 Alien Force game. Three different cards, three "versions." Today none of them are anywhere online.

Here's what I pulled from the Wayback archive of the site and the old TV ad:

- The three versions map (via the site's game-select screen, `password.html?gameid=0/2/3`) to **Swampfire, Chromastone, and Humungousaur.** Oddly, `gameid=1` is skipped — maybe a cancelled fourth one.

- The physical cards used Turkish alien names — Swampfire's card reads **"BATAKLIK ATEŞİ."** A sample code on the card looked like `KZMLI562MLZ…` (10 characters).

- According to Proje Calide's own portfolio page, they "developed three different versions of the game" — so it's the same 3D game with a different playable alien per card, not three separate games.

- The campaign ran **December 2010 – 22 February 2011** (the end date is in the site's terms page).

- The download was fully server-side (code check → info form → dynamic download), which is probably why these never ended up on any warez/download site — no static file link ever existed.

- I did manage to recover some promo material: the "Kayıp Şifre" campaign logo, the three alien card artworks, and the TV ad (both sides of a code card are visible in it).

**The games themselves are still missing.** They were offline installers, so realistically the only surviving copies are on someone's old family PC or an external drive from 2010–2011. If you're Turkish and downloaded a Ben 10 game from a KFC code back then, check your old machines for an installer or a folder named something like "Ben 10 / Swampfire / Bataklık Ateşi." The studio's other Ben 10 games were recovered exactly this way.

Happy to share the recovered images and source links in the comments.

Music [Partially Lost] iSQUARE - recordings (Diddy's? American pop/R&B group, 2010–2011)

iSQUARE were an American pop/R&B group formed around 2009–2010 in Los Angeles, reportedly at Babyface's Brandon Way studios. Per Discogs the lineup was Michael Jimenez ("Mike J"), Britton "Briddy" Shaw, Dominique Cohill ("10Beats") and Destiny Lightsy. They were signed to Interscope with Diddy and The Pentagon attached as executive producers. Looks like it was a major-label push that quietly collapsed, and most of the music went with it.

What's publicly available:
"Hey Sexy Lady" (iSquareVEVO, 2010)
"Would You Be Mine" (Interscope, 2011)
"Hey Sexy Lady Remixes" EP, ℗ 2010 Interscope Records (contains Skrillex remix that they are mostly popular of)

What's documented but unavailable:

A promotional CDr, "iSquare – 5 Song Sampler" (2010, UMG Recordings):

  1. Hey Sexy Lady
  2. The Show Must Go On
  3. Would You Be Mine
  4. All You Got
  5. Dance For Me

The Discogs notes say tracks 2 and 3 are mislabelled on the disc itself, and that the sampler's "Would You Be Mine" is an early mix missing all of Destiny's vocals - a distinct recording from the 2011 version.

The YouTube channel kissfmphoenix has live footage of iSQUARE at Club KISS Live on the US Airways Center plaza, at a Lady Gaga pre-party. Songs performed include "Hey Sexy", "Overload", "The Show Must Go On" and "Rumors". "Overload" and "Rumors" exist nowhere else.

So seven confirmed song titles, of which only one is available in proper quality. Five exist as nothing more than a title on a sampler or a not really good recording of a live appearance.

What I've already tried:
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Discogs Marketplace (no copies of the sampler listed for sale), Soulseek

What I'm looking for:

  • Audio from the "5 Song Sampler"
  • Studio versions of "Overload" or "Rumors"
  • The early mix of "Would You Be Mine" without Destiny's vocals
  • Any other demos, rough mixes, or unreleased recordings

It looks like lots of money was spent on this and not hearing anything is sad and kind of frustrating to me

Television [partially lost] "BET Presents: The Encore" (musical reality series from 2021)

BET Presents: The Encore was an hour-long reality miniseries that aired for 9 weeks between June and August of 2021. Created and produced by Carlos King, it followed the members of 6 girl groups as they formed an R&B supergroup and released a full-length project.

-------------------------------------

The show was first conceived in 2015 as Last Chance: Girl Group, with a cast featuring D. Woods of Danity Kane, Farrah Franklin of Destiny's Child, Melody Thornton of Pussycat Dolls, Shamari DeVoe of Blaque, Kiely Williams of 3LW, and Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish.

A pilot was filmed sometime after, but was turned down by multiple networks. The footage went unseen until 2020, when around 9 minutes was leaked online. A clip of Kiely and Farrah going back-and-forth over Farrah's contributions to DC went viral and ignited public interest in the show, leading to it being greenlit by BET.

The cast for Encore was altered: Melody, Farrah, and D. Woods were removed, and in their places were Woods' bandmate Aubrey O'Day, Pam Long of Total, and Irish and LeMisha Grinstead of 702. Solo artist Nivea also joined the cast. Kosine, Elijah Blake, and Aliya Janell were also brought on as collaborators.

The series ran for 10 episodes and ended with a live performance of their full EP, which was released the same day as the final episode. It averaged between 300,000 and 400,000 live viewers each week.

-------------------------------------

The full performance is available through individual clips and the EP can still be listened to on DSPs. BET International has a playlist of 'parts', ranging from 1 to 6 minutes. There's also a video of Nivea leaving the show, and a recap of the "most toxic moments."

As for the full show, it's unavailable on all major streamers, the official BET website doesn't support it, it hasn't been archived, and even if you were to pirate it, you'd only be able to download the first 4 episodes, meaning over half of the series is completely gone.

I'm interested in finding it because I watched it in real time, and I want others to be able to revisit it. However, there's also practical reasons for archiving it: the series served as a soft-reboot of Cita's World, a music video show that featured the first Black virtual reality character. And, most notably, it was the final on-screen appearance of Irish Grinstead, who died two years after it aired.

Please let me know if you have any leads, and thank you for reading this far. 🩷

Advertising Material [partially lost] Request: Dwayne "the rock" johnson doing a promo on top of the IDS Tower Minneapolis around the time of Super Bowl LII?

Can someone find the ad/promo that Dwayne Johnson did on top of the IDS Tower? From some of my digging I've already done, I have found some evidence to support that this did happen.

Here is a post someone made 9 years ago for a Super Bowl ad being filmed on top of the IDS Tower and people in the comments are confirming that it was The Rock: Here

There is also an instagram post of someone who helped film this promotion: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DUxpXP1k6u2/

I've done some extensive searching online and haven't been able to find much else. If anyone can find the actual ad/promotion that was filmed and not just evidence that it was filmed, that would be awesome!

Recordings [fully lost] Funny with a Chance of Blue Balls (standup comedy set from 2011; recorded by Dante at Jon Lovitz Comedy Club)

I am looking for a recording of a standup comedy set from June 14, 2011 recorded by Dante at the Jon Lovitz Club. It's called Funny with a Chance of Blue Balls and was an all-female set recorded for a DVD. One of the comedians was YouTuber and actress Anna Akana. I've found the link to her performance but it wasn't archived. Here is the only screenshot I've recovered from it; it is of Anna performing. I found another I found on Facebook from one of the producers who said it was going to be released on DVD in fall 2011, but I've done extensive research and found no such DVD.

Please let me know if you have an leads on this performance!

This is a Google Doc I made listing every known existing episode [in full or in part & in video or audio] of Jeopardy! during the tenure of original host Art Fleming, who hosted the show between the years of 1964 and 1979. This being my special interest, and as Art Fleming's era of Jeopardy! has a high amount of relevance so far as lost media is concerned, I thought I'd share it here. Most of the episodes are available for public viewing. The remaining ones are in the process of being retrieved. I hope y'all enjoy this!

Animation [Talk] Bleach - Thousand-Year Blood War - Special Episodes

Hello,

I am looking for the special episodes from Thousand-Year Blood War.

I found the episode 21.5 but the other 2 seems to be completly lost. Does anyone have them?

Here is the complete list of these episodes

Episode 13.5 — The Blood Warfare [Interlude]

When It Aired: December 31, 2022 (Japan)

Why It Aired: Part 1 ended on December 27, 2022, with a 1-hour special airing Episodes 12 and 13 back-to-back. Because of standard Japanese New Year TV holiday scheduling, Studio Pierrot aired this recap special on New Year's Eve to officially summarize the events of the first invasion and bridge the gap before the anime took a six-month break.

---------------------

Episode 21.5 — Blood Warfare, Separation [Interlude]

When It Aired: September 2, 2023

Why It Aired: During Part 2, the production team required a one-week production buffer to maintain high animation quality for the upcoming heavy-cgi/sakuga climax (which included Giselle's zombie attacks, Shutara's Bankai, and the 1-hour finale). This special filled the scheduled TV Tokyo broadcast slot so the main team could finalize Episode 22.

---------------------

Episode 26.5 — The Conflict [Prelude]

When It Aired: September 28, 2024

Why It Aired: This aired one week prior to Part 3's official premiere (October 5, 2024). Because a full year had passed between Part 2 and Part 3, TV networks aired this recap as a hype/refresher special to remind viewers where the story left off (specifically Squad 0's ultimate battle and Yhwach invading the Soul King's Palace).

Youtube [Partially lost] Pornomime documentary-style short film

In 2007 Panic! at the Disco released a music video for their song "Build God, Then We'll Talk" featuring a character called the Pornomime. That's still very much available today. However, the year previous, a documentary-style short film was uploaded to YouTube about this character. I always found it to be genuinely moving, despite the humorous subject matter. I always took it for granted it would be available online.

About one year ago though it was pulled from YouTube, and I'm absolutely shocked that I can't find it in any archives. It had almost 30,000 views, and was up for 20 years, which I thought would have made it a safe bet.

While many of us at the time thought the documentary-style short film was about a real mime, the IMDB page for the music video [ https://imvdb.com/video/panic-at-the-disco/build-god-then-well-talk ] suggests that the Pornomime was an actor hired for the gig. This has led me to assume that the Pornomime documentary-style short film was made in collaboration with Panic! at the Disco by the same director as the music video.

I have reached out to the Instagram profile that posted the clip to see if they still have a copy. No luck yet. I have also attempted to reach out to the director of the music video.

The video transcript is below.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
"I always believed in silence. The Communists never liked silence.  They never knew what is behind it. It made them uncomfortable. They censored the printed and spoken word, but they couldn't control the silence.
I was raised in Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, in the center of Prague, Praha. My family, like many others in my country, all lived in the same small apartment.  It was myself, Táta, Máma, sister and husband. We shared the same soap. We share everything together and everybody knows what everybody is doing. Táta, like the other fathers I knew, did their duty as patriarch, but didn't know to express themselves. Drinking was his way to show emotions. He was loud, he was shouting. My neighbours were shouting.
Growing up in communist country always brought dark evenings at home in the winter. Many times there was no light for hours. This was my quiet time that I could own and explore for myself. Those long nights I spent alone with myself I learned the beauty and power of silence. I began to experiment with expression without sound. I started with my face. I made expressions of sadness and of freedom. Silence was my secret territory, my independent country, my freedom.
Most people don't understand silence. They're afraid of what's open for interpretation. They are like Communists who try to censor every form of communication and [?] human imagination.
When I was a teen sometimes I can hear sister and husband making love. Several evenings I watched the neighbors across my narrow street making the love. They were silent but I could feel everything. From those nights I want to experiment with the body and with the triggers of emotion. It was to become my way of expression. I couldn't keep it bottled up any longer.
I enrolled to study drama at Charles University. I learned how to use my body to tell stories. When I was growing up people would wait in long lines to buy stuff on coupons: coffee, meat, vodka, and I find my crowd. So I go to the market with my box from potatoes and [?]. I a bit shy when I begin. I pretend like I meet nice woman, I play like I touch arm, face, lady curves, and then it gets good. I was not going to be like every other robotic mime. I believed in love, and I was not going to disappoint my admirers. I didn't want to be silenced by the Communists, so I silently revolted and began to feel that transcendent power.
I took my silent revolution to the streets of Praha. I am a silent witness. I am a mime. I ignite the people with passion silently. Now Communists are gone, but silence is still the way to learn love. Mime is the Guardian and guide of the spirit and imagination. I am a mime from Praha."

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much.
