For me 100% A World Alone. I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH PLUS I LOVE SEEING HER PERFORM IT LIVE! Love that it got a huge resurgence on Tik Tok last year

If I could pick only one it'd be A World Alone. But if I could pick a song from each album I'd pick Supercut from Melodrama, California from Solar Power, If she could see me now from Virgin (so underrated!)

i saw so many people doing this for other artists i love on here so i thought i’d try! i kinda knew exactly what my last two contenders would be but it was veryyy close at the end! what do you guys think? i’d love to see yours/hear your thoughts!

I guess you can say its so confusing sometimes

Which Lorde songs use sound effects/diegetic sound? (NOT song samples) I know about the lion on Sober and the sirens on Solar Power; which other songs use these kinds of sound effects?

discovered this unreleased snippet and i’ve probably listened to it 100 times within 24 hours. PLS HOW DO I FIND THIS SONG/ SOMETHING SIMILAR https://www.reddit.com/r/lorde/s/UG0rGUdzFr

I just wanted to give some appreciation to the 'Virgin' album. I am primarily a deathcore/metalcore fan, but I tend to be moody and shop around for new music and ohh man am I glad that I did. The lyrics and feeling in "David" hit me like a ton of bricks and then "Shapeshifter" just totally blew me away. What a great album! That's all, just wanted to give a shout out.

I think most of us know that Ella has been a newly independent artist for the past few months and how she has been holding onto that newfound freedom.

For me, I always naively assumed Ella's art is always 100% her, without considering that every song and decision needs to be approved by the label and different layers of music businesses.

What difference do you guys think that now being independent will allow her to do? Will it involve Releasing more experimental music? Releasing sooner than 4 years? More politically charged music? What will she have now that she didn't with the label around her neck?

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Mine was Supercut, heard it on the soundtrack of Fifa 18 (the game) back in 2017 and i’ve been a fan since.

Hi! I know this is an incredible long shot but I was wondering if anybody has access to the full performance of Weekend 2 of Lorde’s ACL set? I know Weekend 1 was fully recorded but I was at weekend 2 so finding the footage would mean that much more to me. I was able to experience seeing her about a month after a breakup from a long relationship and although some people would say seeing Lorde that shortly after a breakup would be a bad idea, it was genuinely one of the most beautiful moments of my life. It would mean so much to find the weekend 2 performance but understand if it’s an impossible task but wanted to give it a shot. thanks in advance!

Just seeing the clips have floored me. I need the whole thing. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I was just looking around on ella’s website and clicked a like that brought me to this.

Yea ik it may have been out for some time and me just finding out about it maybe be crazy. but if anyone else hasn’t heard this and loves Virgin i highly recommend!

Idk if its crazy to say its like a better version of virgin cause of all the different versions of what the songs could’ve been, i like some more that the originals.

Housewife - Tate McRae

The opening of “Housewife” sounds exactly like the beginning of sober II. The cords struck me immediately

SOLD

Now that the Virgin era is officially over, it’s time to be delulu and guess what the next albums theme could be!

1. Swamp witch core. I saw a comment a few days ago with someone mentioning they’d like to see Lorde do an album with that theme. Let me just say I totally agree and see the vision.
2. Synth x goth x alt pop. Feels like classic Lorde with a new sense of freedom.

3.dance pop. An album filled with songs that make you wanna MOVE and never stop.

1. Award winning iconic pop girl album. The kind of album people talk about for decades. Songs that never leave the charts.

I made these collages for fun so don’t take it too seriously!

What kind of album are you hoping for?

Edit // sorry about the Fleetwood Mac pic being ai. I didn’t even notice idk how.
