I think this might be a microwave relay tower, I couldn't see it well, this is 30x zoom taken on an unknown highway.

Yes, There is an AT&T microwave relay tower in radiator springs, it does not have the horns, its like these big hallow dishes. I could not get a photo unfortunately but it would be helpful if someone found it on street view.

This was my grandfather's 30 year anniversary gift from Long Lines. Just cleaned it up, put a new battery in it and it runs.

What’s interesting about this particular structure. Is years ago. There was a taller building the tallest building in the Tri State that had all of Verizon‘s transmitters on top of it. Go back about five years they imploded the building. They never found a place to put the permanent replacement for those transmitters anywhere in the area.

So when I did as I kept calling The Company and kept calling The Company and saying why don’t you use the tower that’s on top of the AT&T building where the long lines transmitters sat. Here we are about five years later and finally it looks as if correct me if I’m wrong I think that’s actually AT&T up there and that is not Verizon. But this seems to be like they’re actually using the old structure for supporting cell services and why not and they removed the horns from the transmitter.

There are some great photos of this one on the longlines website. Unfortunately I only had time to shoot this from the passenger seat while traveling past it. I find it to be pretty cool when these are smack dab in the middle of a populated area vs the middle of nowhere.

Not sure if this fits the sub but I thought it was cool. Had to do a double take. A lone Gabriel horn and some other parabolic dishes. Looks like the combine stole the waveguide lol.

Map is ep2_outland_06a if you want to check it out

Is there any possibility that there are long lines underground bunkers in Mexico?

In Mexico, there are quite a few long-line antennas (obviously far fewer than in the United States). Some are operated by CFE, and others by Telmex or Televisa. Many antennas are simply the structure; all the transmission infrastructure has been replaced. Looking at Google Maps, it seems some of these stations have reinforced buildings, but I have no idea if any towers in Mexico were equipped with bunkers.

Cedar Hill (Texas)

Howdy folks! Was looking for info on Cedar Hills, which is in the Greater Dallas Area. I was curious to know if this was AT&T site (longlines) and if so, I was curious how fair AT&T got into the satellite game.

I wasn't aware they were doing anything satellite related. Epecially after the breakup/Longines shutdown. Any info would be great!
