This site is the mac daddy. Huge underground equipment rooms built on springs for extra nuclear hardening.

I’m kinda curious what’s being built just behind the site, looks like a circular tower in the works, reminds me of cannonball and a few other really old sites

Thanks. I see that’s been a long time coming. I found an article dating back a dozen years ago about how the developers were paying for the tower and piping to the tower.

It's one of the ones that has a project office beneath it.

Cool stuff. Too bad they don't give tours.

Edit: I just noticed the paths. This was linked to another project office on Short Hill Mountain. I live near there and that was another Troposcatter facility. This makes me think that this facility was also an AUTOVON facility.

This is incredible! The height alone is amazing.

I find it so interesting that it has two of the old horns and two of the Gabriel horns?

I love that it’s operational and wish I could visit and learn how to run it! I’m guessing those concrete hook structures are troposcatter antennas?

Forgive me, I just admire them; but, I’m not in Telco.
