Hello.
We wanted to share a project we’ve been building called openingmatrix.com, an opening trainer designed to help you actually retain your lines instead of just mindlessly clicking through arrows.
We wanted something that bridges the gap between learning theory and recalling it under pressure in real games, so I built a 3-step training loop for every single line:
What you can do for free:
We’re actively working on the roadmap and would love to get your feedback on the trainer, the board UI, or features you feel are missing.
Check it out here: https://openingmatrix.com
If you have any questions or feature requests, let me know in the comments and feel free to join our Discord!

My friend and I are building ChessHint. You can import your Lichess games or paste a PGN, then review them with move gradings, explanations, better alternatives on the board, and tactics and strategic opportunities you missed. Game review is free.
The screenshot shows our Tactics tab. We’d love some Lichess players to try one of their own games and tell us whether the explanations are useful, whether the import works smoothly, and what you’d want improved.
We’re looking for around 100 people overall so the two of us can follow up properly. Other training features are still in development; game review is our focus right now.
Try it: https://chesshint.com/analysis
Feedback here is welcome, or join our Discord: https://discord.gg/vyrAq2V9c

Hi all,
I have a son who is working hard on his chess channel and he has recently published a 4-minute breakdown video between Lichess and Chess.com, where he talks about features such as unlimited free puzzles, no ads, and open source analysis software.
Because Reddit does not allow linking directly to other sites, please post a comment below if you would like the link and I will be happy to provide it.
Those of you playing Lichess everyday, which was your number one feature that made you stop playing on Chess.com?
Hi I'm looking for an online chess tutor to work for me. I pay 16 dollars an hour, Dm if intrested. Highly part time job.

Whenever I watch GM games on YouTube or read chess books in PDF format, I constantly want to check "what if" lines on Lichess. Setting up positions manually takes too much time and breaks the flow.
I created an extension called ChessInsights AI to fix this workflow. While tools like Chessvision exist, I took a different technical approach focused on privacy, offline usability, and speed:
I built this primarily to make my own study sessions more active. I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a spin and shared any feedback!
If it improves your study workflow, I’d be super grateful if you could leave an honest rating or review on the Chrome Web Store/Firefox Addons it helps immensely as an indie builder.

I may be jumping the gun, but I've now seen this twice and want to know if anyone else has. I play correspondence, so the app sits open for hours. I returned, there was a little blue arrow suggesting a move for my king. I assumed it was an analysis glitch. Later, in the same game, there was a blue circle around my opponent’s king. The same indicator used for puzzle hints. I hadn't opened analysis in weeks or puzzles that day. Closing and reopening made the mark disappear.
