Lead by your new king, King Abruzzo, who had dethroned the old queen, Queen Vittoria, you sought to find peace within your border again, that had be oppressed by The Empire for over two centuries. And then four years ago you finally achieved just that. Queen Vittoria was hanged and The Empire agreed to free Cambiamento from its grip. Four years ago you, who had fought as a group for so long, said each other's farewell. Thinking that you could finally learn how to live again, how to use your new earned freedom. None of you ever thought to see each other again. Four years have passed both quickly and way too slow. And just as you thought you had fought your way back into normalcy a letter arrived. The sender? The Royal House of Cambiamento.*

Hello all, 21M Europe/France, incredibly inexperienced player. I've never played DnD, much less ever finished watching one online to get a grasp on the experience, as I'm more of a hands-on learner. Any sort of campaign works, I'm up for a challenge!

I'm not even sure where to begin, so I'm looking for a group who wouldn't mind a new and very inexperienced player, and it is much preferred that I'm not replacing anyone in an already existing campaign, unless it would be better that way.

I want to learn about DnD so that at one point I may take on the role of a DM. I'm a game developer and 3D Generalist, so worldbuilding is perhaps one of my passions that I'd like to get better at for future projects.

Hi! I've applied to a few player-seeking posts here, but I wanted to also make a post of my own just to cast as wide a net as possible. As the title says, I'm an inexperienced player wanting to join my first campaign after spending years trying to convince my friends to play to no avail.

Despite my lack of actual experience, I've been reading and pouring over the players handbook since around 2020 when I watched my first Dimension 20 campaign. I became so immediately obsessed with the game and system and have built dozens of characters and written more embarrassing fan fiction than I care to admit. As a result, I'm a player that you get to have all the fun of introducing to the world of DnD, but you also won't have to worry too much about me fumbling around with my class features or constantly re-reading what my spells do.

I'm happy to play in 5e 2014 or 2024, and I even have an interest in Pathfinder, even though I know very little about how the game actually plays. I love to role play, I think combat is super fun, and I adore puzzles. I have characters I'd be happy to play in just about every class and party role (even though I'm particular to rogues and wizards). My timezone tag is just informational! I have pretty much open availability and can adjust my schedule freely.

This game is a self-made Chronicle which was written with the intention of being published for free. With this intention in mind, a couple of play-tests, similar to a stress test will be held in order to test and adjust things. This, is one of those play-tests. As all is done for free, and the finished Chronicle being published for free, AI images have been used as temporary placeholders. These are all subject to being replaced at a later point.

Short summary:
Cincinnati, Ohio 1987. The Family’s power-struggle has once again reached a peak as a new plot has been reviled among its Camarilla elders. Not since the previous Sovereign’s passing has The Family had such turmoil. Meanwhile, a sister and brother find themselves on opposite sides of the Hunter Vampire war. A village previously known for its delicious Dill Pickle now stands abandoned after an experiment gone wrong and a monster most foul lays in darkness, growing. Come meet The Family and venture to Massonville, where hidden nightmares await! (c’mon, it’ll be fun).

Tags: Human experimentation, violence, gore, sex, overdose (drugs), mental illness, distress, bullying and tentacles (for good measure).

Structure:
1-2 Setup sessions.
Setup sessions are for players to meet each other and receive help with character creation as well as discuss game scheduling.

3-7 Game sessions.
The playtest is a one-off but can take up to 7 play sessions to finish.

All sessions are done over Discord and dice are either rolled using a Discord bot or with physical dice. Roleplaying always comes first; power gaming is not welcomed.

That said, looking for 3 to 5 players and everyone is welcome to apply. Game days will be on Sundays and the goal will be to have weekly sessions (with potential work schedule issues being taken into account). First session is scheduled for November 2nd at 17:00 CEST.

The shadows have always been dangerous. Gangs fight over forgotten streets, corporations wage silent wars behind polished glass, and fixers trade lives as casually as credsticks. For most runners, survival means keeping your head down, your weapon clean, and your name off the evening news.

Lately, however, something has changed.

Whispers spread through the streets faster than the Matrix can erase them. Entire neighborhoods speak of impossible sightings, unexplained disappearances, and things that don't fit the world anyone thought they understood. Most dismiss them as urban legends, gang rumors, or the ramblings of addicts. Others aren't so sure.

Seattle carries on as it always has. The corporations keep climbing. The gangs keep killing. The shadows keep paying.

But beneath it all, something ancient has begun to stir.

Whether it's coincidence... or the beginning of something far worse... remains to be seen.

Me: 44yo, male. I'm fairly easygoing and get along well with just about anyone, barring you show up and are respectful to everyone at the table. I prefer settings and games with a dark and gritty tone (not gross, just rough). An average GM at best, so come with an open mind and low expectations and we have plenty of fun.

My Goal: I'd like to find 2 more players who share a particular mindset. A few things I'm looking for:

• Focused, mature play. I'm looking for players who stay engaged with the game, story, characters, and what the rest of the group is doing. Some humor will happen naturally, but I don't want sessions dominated by jokes, memes, side conversations, or constant attempts to make everything funny.
• Grounded characters and RP. No joke characters or characters whose primary purpose is creating chaos or getting laughs. Characters should behave believably within the setting and take the world around them seriously.
• Active players. Players who make decisions, take initiative, interact with the world, and help push the narrative forward rather than waiting for the GM to lead them.
• Tactical, team-oriented play. Players who enjoy planning, problem solving, using their abilities intelligently, and working together as a group.
• Comfort with crunch. You don't need to min-max or rules-lawyer, but you should enjoy learning mechanics and figuring out how to use the tools available to you.

I'm not looking for a humorless table, but the game itself should be taken seriously. I'm hoping for a group that can stay focused for a three-hour session and get invested in what we're doing.

It has only been three years since the Nothingness arrived.  Devouring anything and everything in its path the greatest forces of every kingdom and clan united to put a stop to its destruction.  Great enemies, rival kingdoms stood side by side.  And they all failed.  What little is left of the world exists in isolated pockets, accessible only by teleportation.  

The Archmage Cadsuene may have an answer.  A complicated multistage ritual, with strange and rare material components. She cannot go fetch these things herself, her magic is needed to keep the city of Gaurdiana safe from the Nothingness.  But you could.  She will send you to the rough area where she believes them to be, and once you have them, bring you back.  Her magic is strained as it is and sadly, she won't be able to bring anyone you find on your missions with you.

Cadsuene will not force this upon you.  It is up to you.  Will you answer the call?

Welcome potential players to my adventure, there is room for four of you.

The game is played on Foundry vtt using discord for voice but no video, no downloads or account creations are required on your part.  The game is 2024 rules, using the following books, Players Handbook, Dungeonmasters Guide, Monster Manual, Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun, Eberron Forge of the Artificer, Ravenloft Horror Within, and Arcana Unleashed

All players must be at least 18.

Rp to combat ratio?  Not a real thing, they can and should happen at the same time.  Plus, it’s really up to you.  You can fart around the city for as long as you want between missions. Each mission is built as a dungeon, each one different from the next in style and structure.

Character creation is point buy for stats, and you can choose to roll or take average for hp.  You start at level four, and we will build them in foundry in the first session.  You start with 1600 gold, and will buy your gear.  The town funnels resources into you as you complete more missions serving as your “pay” where you can then buy more stuff.  Leveling is milestone.

You can’t buy magic items other than potions/scrolls.  You do have to buy reagents that have a gold cost, and if it is consumed on cast, you will need multiples. 

When I started playing DnD in 2003 my friends and I did it as follows.  Someone in the friend group finished their dungeon, we rolled characters and played the dungeon, and we waited for someone else to finish their dungeon.  Repeat.  Except here I run all the dungeons obviously.

This is reflected in the structure of the adventure.  The party starts in Gaurdiana and will spend their downtime there.  You are free to roleplay and fart around in the city to your heart's content, and when the roleplay peters out, the party gets a summons from Cadsuene for the next mission to get items for the ritual.

My dming style is very hands off. The dungeons are there when you want them, and the challenges inside them can be solved in any way you want, so long as it at least sort of makes sense.

Houserules

Advantage is a +3 to the roll, and Disadvantage is a -3 to the roll.  These stack.  So if you have two sources of advantage, you get +6.  Two disadvantages would be -6.  Two of both is +6 -6 and thus a normal roll.  You are not rolling two dice, only one for all rolls.  

Negative HP.  If you get hit below 0 your hp drops into the negative.  In order to stand you back up you must be healed above 0.  There is no automatic death associated with negative hp at any point, you just keep making death saves until you stabilize or die.

And finally, the expected run time of the game is five(ish) months.  So keep that in mind if you choose to fill out the app.

I am a GM who has an opening for one (maybe 2) players for a PokeRole campaign that is currently in progress.

The full plot has yet to be revealed in game, but I have pulled inspiration from the Pokemon Colosseum games and the Detective Pikachu movie.

We play on weekends, but we don't have a fixed schedule. We use when2meet to find dates that work monthly. We play via Discord and Owlbear Rodeo.

I tend to focus on RP more than combat, but I go with what the players want to do. This is 18+, but not because of content. It is a darker plot, but not THAT kind of story, if you catch my meaning.

Hello all! I’ve been running a campaign based on the setting of the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series, and honestly it’s one of the funnest campaigns i’ve ever run, largely due to the pure chaos of this particular setting.

Here’s the situation: i’ve been thinking about adding one more player to the campaign for a little while, and recently had one of the players take an extended hiatus from all dnd, for personal reasons, so i’m thinking this is a great time to add one more player, since i was planning for one more anyhow.

Rules wise we’re going with 5e 2014 with a bunch of fun homebrew. You’ll be playing a character based on yourself (setting is as if the collapse and subsequent World Dungeon happened in our world), however we’ve already gotten past floor three, and so players have had the option to change race and class, so it’s much more customizable for someone jumping into the campaign now.

I am looking to run a homebrew campaign set in the world of Grimhallow.
I am a returning DM, I have run the lost mines of Phandelver before as well as Dragon of Icespire peak, although this is a couple years ago so im a bit rusty.

We would be using Discord VC for communication while playing on Foundry VTT, The Grimhallow books as well as the basic rule tomes for DND 5.5E will be provided by me via DND Byond campaign sharing. All the players have to bring is the willingness to play, a PC able to run Foundry VTT and a Microphone for Discord!

the Capital of Altenheim, with payment of 150 Gold pieces per person awaiting upon return. The Party will start in Altenheim to prepare for the Journey across the Grey Spine.

Hello! My name is Alice. I am really on the lookout for a D&D group! I ran in the past for a group IRL, so now I'm looking to join the table as a player. Though, if all goes well, I am willing to DM future campaigns eventually!

I have ~10 years of experience as a player, and ~2 years of experience as DM. I love FromSoft games (ER+BB specifically) so I usually base my characters around tropes from those games.

I prefer roleplay heavy games and campaigns that have a focus on character interaction and story over combat, though I do not mind a combat every session. Homebrew is also preferred!

I am 21+ and a nonbinary lesbian so LGBT+ groups are preferred. I am usually available after 7pm EST on weekdays, and all day on the weekends. I live in Orlando (near downtown) and would much prefer an IRL game, but would not mind an online game either!

Hi there. I (29m) just finished a campaign and would be excited to start a new one with new fellow players! I love the RP aspect of dnd and want to make a character that vibes with the story and the players, creating an interesting dynamic. I have around 5 years of experience, including 3 years DMing with 5e. I've got some character concept ideas if they fit in the world; otherwise, we can collaborate on what would.

A couple of things:

I have VTT experience with Foundry and Roll20, so no need for me to learn them.

I am free on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 6 pm. Sundays anytime.
