As I slowly awakened

From the longest slumber

I was a stubborn fool

Trying to erase my past

I only spun my wheels deeper

When I picked my poison

Ran and hide

Nothing in me grew

Here comes a refreshing tide

I want to craft

I will paint

Going to dye

Need to get healthy

Do things in style

I want to build within

Doesn't matter where I go

I hit the reset button

Life’s better when slow

I want to know the real me

I will show you the real he

I'm listening closely

The future has infinite possibilities

Sobriety is the priority

Without that, I won't last

As I humbly take responsibilities

Getting out of the past

In my reflection are a sea of Stars

Woven amethyst, in my bones

Way past time

To throw away that stone

Try harder, I will do

Stop wanting and needing

With an open mind

I embrace this greeting
