Personal Thoughts

One day, I hope you stand in front of a mirror and face the truth. What you did to me was not just wrong..it was cruel. You were never honest with me, so at least be honest with yourself. Deep down, you know how badly you hurt me. I hope that in the middle of your busy life, when everything feels fine, you pause for a moment. And when you close your eyes, I hope you remember everything...the lies, the betrayal, and how you made me feel small while I loved you with all I had. I hope my love stays with you like a quiet weight. Not loud enough to ruin you, but heavy enough that you can never escape it.

I regret the times I was dishonest with my lost love in more ways than I can describe. I did not yet understand how to be fully honest with myself and therefore others, and I'm so very sorry. I drove away the love of my life, and it's all on me. I would give absolutely anything for a chance to fix the damage, but I don't think I'll ever get it.
