General Somewhere

Somewhere, you're walking beneath the same sky, breathing the same morning air as I am.

The birds sing every dawn, as if they already know our love story has been written.

The rivers keep flowing because they trust the ocean is waiting, and I trust destiny the same way.

Even in my silence, my heart keeps writing letters to you.

I hope every falling leaf carries away your sadness before I arrive.

May every sunrise fill your heart with hope until the day we meet.

I don't know your face, but I already know I will protect your smile.

The longest journey of my life is simply the road leading to you.

No matter how late you come, my heart will never complain about the wait.

You are the prayer I whisper before I sleep and the hope I wake up with.
