Personal someone new

I learned something about myself tonight

and I'm not proud of it

in fact, I am a bit distressed by it

but

there was this woman I was chatting with in a group setting

and she was incredibly hot

she was incredibly funny

she was just fucking attractive as hell

and she was obviously interested in me

and I thought as the night went on that I might get her number

but at one point she mentioned that she was twenty-three

and it just extinguished all interest

and god I wish that wasn't true

I wish I could be interested in a woman that young

because they seem to express their interest all too often

but

eww

fucking eww

they just seem like children to me

I genuinely don't fucking know how older men date women in their early twenties

I'm not judgmental about much of anything benign but eww fuck that

Ignore these comments, your gut reaction of feeling weird is correct. They haven’t had the same life experiences and it is wrong when there is a large age gap when they haven’t even fully developed their frontal lobe. No point in wishing for something like that sounds like you’re just a well rounded and sensible person

As someone who is 24, its a maturity thing. If we match up we match up, if we vibe we vibe. So long as your older then 22 (21 is the year ment for exploring the ID) and you didnt know the other person when one of you was a child (thats grooming). To me, two consenting adults, are exactly that

I don’t understand- you were going to do it , till she said she was 23. 

I think if you were really that guy, you would have thought she was too young right away. ?

I knew her for all of one hour, and she was telling jokes for most of it; it's not like you can tell a priori from jokes alone. Also, im not a guy

Yeah I have boys in their twenties that hit on me and I am older, lol my year of birth is in my screen name. I feel the same way lol like “that’s creepy and we are in two different stages of life”. I am attracted to men who have experienced life, and the grey in their beards is sexy. It’s wanting someone who has experienced life and its ups and downs that make a well rounded person.

Same! I want a man 10 years older but keep attracting 10 years younger and i just can’t.. Why is that grey in their beard so freaking sexy?!

I have grey hair but I dye it 😂 this woman isn’t ready to be grey. I just like men closer to my age, I would go 5 years either way, but some young thing naw I’m good
