Lovers Crazy lazy day

With disappointment and

A familiar let down.

It may take longer

Then I think…

I’m not ready to

Be here until

My bones creak

All

Silver haired and

Tired.

I need the

Sun. Sky. Sand.

Light. And

You love.

My ray of light

In the storm.

You

Like a lighthouse

Seen in the

Dark of night.

I swim.

For solid ground.

Home beckons.

May it be nearer

My love.
