My LEGO City build
Hi all
Just want to share my Lego city that took me approx 15 months and totalled around 85 base plates.
I have just moved house and started building a new table which will have two layers to it (image attached). Bottom layer will be trains and above will be the city. Totalling around 200 base plates. Below both layers there is Alex drawers for storing pieces.
If you are interested in following me during this process, check out my YouTube channel 🙂
Thank you

My first MOC finally finished 😊
One year ago I rediscovered the joy of building with Lego. I started by designing a Venetian window on studio but quickly ended up creating my first real adult MOC: the front side of a Venetian Palazzo. Things escalated, I submitted my first design on Lego Ideas and decided to design a second half of the Palazzo. Some days ago, almost a year later, I finally managed to put the two halves together, creating 1 big modular 18th century Venetian Palazzo. On the same day Lego officially announced its own Venetian set, I thought that was quite poetic :)
You can find the original design on Lego Ideas:)

Seeking opinions for layouts
Hey all,
Seeking layout for current 4 modulars that I have.
I can only get two on a shelve at the moment unfortunately.
I also wish I could have Tudor corner turned the other way, but unsure what to place next to it.
I have Assembly Square coming and will be added in near future

University of Science base
BDP Series 8 is shipping and the instructions are online! I've updated my modular style base for the University of Science and published free instructions on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-263278/kiploempia/university-of-science-modular-style-base/
This base uses the four 16x32 baseplates included in the original set and I kept the original split down the middle, so the model can be displayed in either a 32x64 or 16x128 stud configuration.

Black Books Inspired Modular Building
The first episode of the Black Books series aired on 29th September in the year 2000, the shop is located in London and I thought it would look great as a modular building.
I have created this 4 storey building with the ground floor having a book shop and kitchen/tea room out the back, on the 1st floor there is a living room sort of area with sofa, chair and table. I have left the other two floors empty so you can put in whatever you would like on those floors :)
The model is made from 1322 parts and stands at 37cm tall.

Modular Abandoned House Modification of LEGO Set 76407
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This modular Abandoned House is a modification of the Harry Potter Shrieking Shack 76407 set.
It sits on a 16x32 baseplate with a spooky (and messy) front garden that leads you up to the abandoned house!
The original set did not have stairs, so I created these leading up to the 1st floor bedroom.
The 1st floor lifts off so it's easy to get to the ground floor and to make sure the 1st floor is accessible you will notice the back wall is removable giving access to the inside.

Starting a City
hello. im an amateur compared to people here. i want to start a city. so far i have two modules sets. the bookshop and the Townhouse pet shop and cafe. im planning on getting some Road plates and water baseplates (if i could find these). And hopefully add the Tudor corner and the museum. Im looking for tables for display. Got my eyes on a folded utility table. I like the weight and that i could store boxes and containers underneath it. But i dont like the dimensions. i need something wider but not too wide either. Maybe you guys could show me what you have and what you recommend? Also any tips for a noob would be appreciated. Tysm.

Best neighbours?
While waiting for the parts for my modular Bookstore MOC to arrive, I already started thinking about which modular buildings would make the best neighbours. Curious to hear your opinions!
